Came for drinks during the thai new year festival so there was a line and the parking lot was closed so had to find street parking. I ordered their wintermleon tea & their thai milk tea. I've tried these drinks at other locations and the taste/quality were pretty much the same. I ordered through the iPad but the workers seem friendly. They have cute photo-ops inside with the word "Hollywood".

My bf and I used to frequent this Ding Tea, we came back for the first time in a long time to use my birthday reward. This place got a needed face lift! There's seating and there's cleaner decor everywhere. It's a great place to sit and enjoy a sweet treat. The people that were working at night on 10/17 were so sweet! Can't wait to keep coming back :)

I love their monster boba! They taste delicious. The ambiance is also inviting and the place is clean.

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Stopped by this Ding Tea boba shop and decided to try the condensed coffee with 50% sugar, agar boba, and no ice. It was super strong, similar to Vietnamese coffee. I drank about 3/4 of it and couldn't sleep, lesson learned. Next time, I'll only have it in the morning. Definitely recommended for strong coffee lovers.

Popped in to grab a boba drink to go. There wasn't anyone inside when I went so service was fast. I ordered the strawberry green tea with boba. Boba was soft and chewy. Solid boba spot with lots of options. Parking- small lot shared with other businesses or street parking

They don't make em like Ding tea no more. Reminiscent of the old days, quality and prices still solid. Come stop by after Ruen Pair or other fun Thai finds in this plaza.

    No boba!

This place always has great boba! I usually go for their house milk tea with boba, and it tastes pretty good. However, they always provide small straws, which makes it difficult to drink the boba. This becomes an even bigger issue with delivery orders since they always send those tiny straws. The bobas constantly get stuck, and you end up struggling with it for minutes until one finally pops in your face......you get the idea. Honestly, this place would be even better if they switched to wider straws! Last time, I skipped the boba entirely just to avoid the hassle, and I love boba.

Parking is difficult but if you say you're picking up the valet guys let you temporarily park. Inside ding tea is clean and they had nice music playing. Staff are knowledgeable and they will give recommendations when asked about customizing. I asked for a drink to be blended which was not under the blend menu and the staff at the time was very helpful and the way she made it was so delicious! Highly recommend when craving boba.

We decided to try Milk tea drinks. It was okay. But my friend likes his passion fruit slushy. I ordered Taro milk tea. The service was good. Parking is not great. Street parking or valet parking in front of the shop. There are seats and WiFi, and picture area.

Ambiance: the boba tea shop is located at a busy plaza in Thai town, spacious inside, however, no tables setup for seating, takeout only place Service: not patient at all and less welcoming, terrible attitude Drink: standard ding tea menu Hokkaido Coffee Latte - ** the coffee tasted so weird, but the add-on golden boba was good Price: each drink costs about $6 plus extra for size upgrade and toppings

Drinks are delicious! Thy look as good as they are. The inside is really clean and inviting. Service is great . Parking is challenging. Highly recommend. Great spot to just hang out and enjoy a good tea or boba drink after a nice Thai meal next door.

    Signature Milk Tea
    Donna D.

Their drinks are a little inconsistent and there was a price raise. Service was okay, kinda depressing faces but they were nice? The signature milk tea tasted very bland and milky almost no sweetness, but they gladly made me a new one, slightly better but i didn't want to make them remake it again . But my normal order is always a hit. Either Hokkaido Milk Tea or Brown Sugar Milk Tea.

The vibes were immaculate- cozy, relaxed and the kind of place that makes you want to stay a while. There was even a woman with two dogs and she had brought their little beds for them! We kept it simple with an Ube latte for me and a sunset punch for my partner. The latte was perfect and not that horrific sweetness that tends to be the hallmark of most places these days and the lemonade was fresh and perfect for a lightly sunny drive over to the West Side. I knew I had to have the English muffin from the moment I saw it. We requested it simply toasted with butter and jam and shared each half. I wish I had a dog to sit and enjoy my time there as they offered free drip coffee refills. Maybe that's where I'll be later this week as I'm definitely coming back, and soon!

The cortado was solid, though not one of the stronger ones I've had. Presentation and latte art were decent, but there were some visible micro bubbles and the surface had a noticeable two-tone appearance rather than a fully integrated, glossy texture. The drink was also served hotter than a cortado should be, which made it difficult to pick up the coffee's character at first. As it cooled, some pleasant citrus notes started to come through and the drink became more enjoyable. Overall, a solid coffee shop with great atmosphere. I enjoyed the experience, but I think better milk integration and a more appropriate serving temperature would have elevated the cortado quite a bit.

Short rib hash, tender and scrumptious -- who doesn't love a bread mop. But the buckwheat pancake floored me. As someone who always craves earthy and umami flavors, it hit the dang spot. Not too sweet, almost like a cross between a cornbread and a hot cake, fluffy, oh so crispy (presumably from the time spent in a scalding hot cast iron in the oven). And I haven't even gotten to the pastries yet. This is a place you come to to share everything and to wipe the plate clean.

I'll start by saying I wasn't necessarily expecting an exceptional specialty-coffee-level cortado from a place like this, but even with those expectations in mind, the drink was poorly executed. Right from the start, the cortado was far too foamy and presented more like a small cappuccino. The milk was heavily over-aerated, with a thick layer of foam rather than a dense, silky integration with the espresso. As I continued drinking it, that became even more obvious. The surface remained bubbly and foamy, while a thick, uneven coating was left along the walls of the glass. It lacked the cohesive, creamy body and milk integration that should define a cortado. The chocolate croissant was actually the bigger disappointment considering this is a bakery. It was noticeably overbaked, with a very dark exterior, and that carried directly into both the texture and flavor. The texture wasn't enjoyable, and there was a noticeable burnt taste rather than the buttery, delicate character I was expecting. The service was mixed as well. The woman at the register came across as very unenthusiastic and could have been considerably more welcoming. A smile, some personality, or simply appearing a little more engaged with customers would go a long way. On the other hand, one of the women handling the baked goods was noticeably friendlier and much more pleasant to interact with, which I appreciated. The space itself is nice, but overall the experience didn't live up to what I was hoping for. I wasn't expecting the cortado to compete with a dedicated specialty coffee shop, but I did expect better basic execution, and I definitely expected more from the chocolate croissant. Unfortunately, this visit was a disappointment.

Got Get Em has become my go-to spot for getting work done, taking coffee meetings, and honestly just starting the day at this point many morning out of the week. The staff is friendly and when I go early in the morning the vibe is calm enough to focus but alive enough to feel energized. I'm over a year into being a regular here and I still haven't found a place near me thats better for what I need for the early morning work sessions. The coffee is great!. I rotate between their drip coffee (which changes regularly) and their house-made almond and macadamia milk latte, which is one of my favorite lattes Ive had in LA. That house milk blend is the move. I also love their food and their chef and kitchen staff is exceptional at that they do. Their simple bean and cheese burrito is a staple, but the egg, bean and cheese burrito with tater tots is also something I like to get from time to time. They all are served with house made salsas, that I wish I knew the recipe to. I do occasionally order the everything bagel with cream cheese and heirloom tomato, which is delicious, but $7 for half a bagel is a little steep. Overall this is a gem of a neighborhood spot that I'd recommend to absolutely anyone, whether you live in Los Feliz or just need a reliable work café, or just want a really great cup of coffee with food that actually excites you. I don't know if it was a one time thing but inconsistency in preparation is not a great look especially when I'm spending this much money on a half bagel. I'm posting a pic of my bagel vs the pic they have on the mobile app (I know it's not gonna be like that in real life but the difference is kinda crazy lol) the reason I come here is because I can order a half bagel, but if it's going to continue this way I'll be getting full bagels at boichick across the street instead.
