    Mango passion and banana matcha
    Cris I.

This store just opened two weeks ago but I'd been here twice already. It's very obvious that I really love this place. But why? I love that they use fresh fruits in their drinks instead of artificial fruit powders. I also love the dorayaki. They're huge! They're bigger than my palm. They look like two pancakes with some filling in the middle. Dorayaki comes in different flavors. So far I've tried Oreo and tiramisu but three are still some other flavors to try. My favorite drinks so far are the grape cheese boom tea and the venti fresh fruit tea. Staff are friendly and service is fast. I love the store setup. It's simple but pleasing to the eyes.

New spot in the area! The location was slightly off on maps -- it's actually around the corner past Mendocino Farms. There's a parking lot with about 1.5 hours free parking (the employees weren't completely sure on the exact time, but that's what we were told). The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the interior is clean and spacious with plenty of room to hang out. I also really liked that they offer a wide variety of drink options. As for the drinks, they were just okay overall. We tried the Passion Mango Boom Tea, Kumquat Lemon Tea, Strawberry Boom Tea, and Coconut Mango Cloud. The Coconut Mango Cloud was definitely the best out of the group. The others felt like they were missing something -- maybe the flavor ratios were a bit off. Since it's still a new spot, I'm guessing they're still fine-tuning their recipes. Overall, I'd give it a 3/5 mainly because of the convenient parking, friendly staff, and clean, spacious interior. Drink-wise, I'd say 2/5. Hoping they dial in the flavors because the potential is definitely there!

Sun Tea (est 2026) is a brand new boba tea in Los Feliz. The first ever! They had a grand opening today (02/07/2026) and drinks are 50% off. It is located in a luxury apt bldg. I came on a late afternoon on their opening day and was giving out a free tumbler. Sadly, I didn't get one due to low supply. I perused their compendious menu and all look amazing. I made a quick decision and got a Passion Mango Boom. It was bloody fantastic! Mango was fresh and flavorful. Prices seem expensive but thanks to their massive discount, it is very affordable. Service was spot on. Atmosphere was relaxing. Indoor was clean and neat. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and our drinks.

Came during their soft opening and anytime a business has hassle-free parking that is a win in LA. It is free for 90 minutes with validation; enter any of the three gates around the block. I had the mango coconut cloud which was really good. I had to pace myself because I could've finish the drink very quickly. I'll be back to their other creations. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The space itself was welcoming as well.

Finally boba in Los Feliz! Despite Hollywood Blvd. street address, entrance is actually on Hillhurst. Their coconut cloud drinks are great.

For that one person that gave sun tea a 1 star, I wonder if you've tried boba time and asked yourself if it's any better than sun tea. Suntea is a new drink chain that originated in china. With around 200 stores in china, a couple of dozens in Canada, and a few in Hawaii I would say suntea is way better than any of the boba time stores. I can't recommend the tiny pancakes enough, they have strawberry, cookies and cream, blue berry, tiramisu

    Brown sugar milk tea

Love this place! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Had a brown sugar milk tea and it was sooooo good!! The place also has plenty of seating and is a very calming environment. Definitely recommend!

Regular matcha latte, lemon-kumquat peach oolong tea, banana matcha latte

First time trying as wifey and friend wanted some tea. I opted for the seasonal lemon-kumquat fruit tea with peach oolong tea (ty to the worker for giving me that option). Wife and friend got matcha drinks (one banana and the other just regular matcha latte; both with foam). Rating 4/5 only due to the matcha being simple and not too special. If you're going to serve matcha it better be good! Overall the matcha wasn't bad but the banana milk version felt like drinking out of those Korean banana milk cartons with a hint of matcha. My tea was really good 5/5 and the fruit pieces are a nice touch. I will definitely come back and try other drinks. We sat for 40 mins just enjoying the space and it felt nice being there. It looks like a nice place to study or hang out.

I tried the Passion Mango Boom Tea and the Coconut Breeze

I tried the Passion Mango Boom Tea and the Coconut Breeze, and both were refreshing in their own way. The Passion Mango Boom Tea had a bright tropical flavor with just the right sweetness (I ordered 50% sugar), and the fruit pieces added a nice texture. The Coconut Breeze was lighter and very refreshing, perfect if you want something not too sweet and more subtle in flavor. The drinks were served cold and fresh, and the presentation was clean and appealing. Overall, a great spot if you're craving fruity teas. I'd definitely come back to try more flavors. The service was excellent and they also validate parking.

Love the drinks. We got multiple items: grape boom tea, brown sugar milk tea, pineapple coconut drink and Oreo drink. All taste great! We tried dorayaki too, and it's good. Warm and fresh. Modern interior with friendly service and fast. Recommended!

Yummy place with lots of parking. The place is nice to study or hang out in, lots of natural light, as well as seating. There's a counter or a kiosk go order with. They're pretty fast with getting orders out.

After a long wait, I am happy that they finally open at this location! Got my favorite; Passion Mango Boom Tea & Coconut Breeze. The interior was nice and service was fast. Congrats on the opening, Suntea!

Today I visited the Sun Tea Shop. I must say that the decoration and overall vibe of the shop was niche, clean and relaxing. My friend and I ordered a brown sugar milk tea (with crème brûlée) and a jasmine milk tea. My friend describes their brown sugar boba tea as "perfectly sweet, with incredible hints of milky brown sugar", to quote. I, myself and beyond pleased with the my jasmine tea. It is not too sweet, aromatic, and has a crisp finish on the tongue. The servers were friendly enough, with only a slight miscommunication. Both teas turned out correctly, and delectable. I would highly recommend trying out this quaint tea shop.

I am not a huge fan of carbonation, so the owner took the time reading through ingredients and suggesting options that she thought would best suite my taste. Rocket Fizz stores have such a fun vibe. I love that Rocket Fizz carries really obscure old timey candy bars (like Zero Bars, so good served frozen). And I love their huge selection of Salt Water Taffy. I never actually buy Salt Water Taffy here, but I enjoy what the seemingly endless barrels of the stuff contribute to the aesthetic. It's the same thing with the facsimile posters that cover the walls of every Rocket Fizz. Super fun to look at while shopping. Don't really need to own any. Another great thing about Rocket Fizz is that they stock a wide variety of imported candy. You jonesing for a Lion Bar or a coconut filled Bounty Bar, don't even trip. You can get your fix here. And what's so cool about this particular Rocket Fizz location is they had a lot of versions of familiar candy bars that I had never seen before. Maybe they have these selections at all Rocket Fizz locations these days. I dunno. But this is the first time I saw a bunch of these versions. Berry Whip Snickers. Butterscotch Snickers. Strawberry Snickers, Passion Fruit Snickers. So many weird Snickers. I gotta get me a Butterscotch one. Sea Salt Rocky Road was new to me too. Rocky Road is one of my candy bars, and I bet the Sea Salt version is fantastic. I might never know. I rarely buy candy at Rocket Fizz because their prices are exorbitant. For me, Rocket Fizz is a fun place to visit but I mostly buy my candy elsewhere. The only thing I buy at Rocket Fizz with any regularity is Root Beer. They have a pretty good selection of pure cane sugar Root Beers. But again, the price per bottle is crazy high. Yeah, you get a little bit of a discount when you buy larger quantities but still, the prices are steep. Nevertheless, when my Root Beer supply gets too low and I don't feel like making a pilgrimage down to Galco's, I'm super happy Rocket Fizz is there for me. And every once in a while I'll splurge for one of those overpriced candy bars. Sometimes a Euro candy bar hits just right. Mikey C says: great, now I'm craving a Toblerone.

They have some pricey imported Asian snacks as well that are harder to find if you're looking for something unique to try or for gifts. Wouldn't go for regular candies though.
