Their tea quality is a little questionable but overall it's a steady place. The workers are nice and friendly. The service is fast and efficient. stopped by on a thursday afternoon, and ordered a taro w/ cheese cream and a lychee yakult. since it was my first time i had a lychee yakult with coffee jelly because the worker recommended it; i know it sounds weird to put together but it was actually kinda good. the taro w/ cheese cream is okay, nothing too special. as for their service, it was pretty slow given that i was the only customer there that was actually waiting for my drinks. there were plenty of workers, so i wasn't sure why it took so long for my 2 drinks. anyway, the shop was really cute and very aesthetically pleasing. i'll probably be back to try some more drinks since they have a lot of options. read more

This the type of IG tea cafe. You can take hella cute pictures. Interior is oh so pretty. Drinks is good too. They ain't stingy with boba. Boba ain't mushy neither. During grand opening, I wrote about how my drink was sour. I'm not sure what happened that night but I will say I went again later on and it is SO much better! I was VERY VERY satisfied with me drink. The Brown Sugar Latte is DELICIOUS!!! I would say this is very similar to the brown sugar latte from Yifang. The boba is nice and chewy. Tried to go to Ding Tea today as we just happened to pass by. They're not allowing walk in ordering it seems. I would have to go back out to my car. Order online and wait to pick up. Forget that! Just for $h!ts & giggles, I tried to start a takeout order via yelp and it said the business was closed and not accepting orders. Epic fail Ding Tea. Came in couple days ago and ordered their classic milk tea in the morning after they just opened, for the first time. I wanted it with no ice and the golden boba as well. The milk tea was watery, very faint flavor of the tea... the golden boba will cost you $0.55, 5 cents more than other boba shops I've been before. ONE OF THE BEST BOBA SHOPS! I absolutely love their yogurt drinks, taro milk tea, wintermelon tea, and pretty everything else on the menu! Service: They have amazing customer service! Every time I ask for recommendations on drinks they offer a great selection! In addition the staff are super friendly and nice. Drinks: love the fact that they have a large selection! My go to for fruit teas is mango green tea with golden boba! For milk teas, their taro milk tea is super good! (You can get it with or without taro bits and I think it's free, but they usually ask if you want it or not). Their yogurt drinks are by far the most unique drinks for me (highly recommend the green tea yogurt with golden boba). You really can't go wrong with any boba drink you get here tho! Food: I absolutely love their popcorn chicken (super juicy and fresh) I haven't really tried much other food on their menu but I definitely will be coming back! Overall, this is a great boba place! One thing I really appreciate about this place is their consistency in friendly service and good drinks, especially their cheese cream drinks as well as the fruit teas, not to mention the brown sugar boba lattes! I stop by this location whenever I'm in the area to visit family and the vibes are really chill here, the restroom is always clean, the music isn't too loud, and the chairs/tables aren't sticky so it's perfect to sit and hang out. Came here twice, once for the Grand Opening and again during a 'normal' day. Being the 'new boba place,' the line was quite long both times, but moved fairly quickly. The drinks were pretty standard for a boba tea place and nothing to really write home about. However, they don't have "regular" (black) honey boba, but golden boba which seems to be just for texture... Also, it feels like quite a far drive from the Pocket area. read more

When I found out that Ding Tea was opening in Sacramento, I was super excited because I just came back from visiting Seattle in the summer and that's where I was introduced to Ding Tea. SO YUM AND, this location is very close to my house and work! They're pretty efficient and customer service is great. They're not sloppy with their orders and they make sure you receive all your drinks and don't leave them unattended until you've picked them up. So far I've tried... WINTERMELON MILK TEA with golden boba- I'd like to describe it as toasty and light in texture. I'm not sure if it's because of the boba, but for sweetness level wise, it depends on my mood... The drink can be sweet but 70% is cool too. I wouldn't go as much as 30% sweet because then it would just taste watered down. GREEN TEA WITH CHEESE CREAM (only in regular size)- They did this because they tested that the tea to cream ratio is best at this size. I would recommend getting less ice if you like more tea =) MATCHA MILK TEA- I love matcha, and I've tried at a couple other boba places but their matcha is on point; not chalky. Enough said. GREEN TEA w/ Star jelly- The jelly can make it taste sweeter so maybe I'd get less sweet next time but it was still yummy! Green tea by itself is good at 100% sweet. I've learned from the owners that (keep this in mind)... Their 100% sweetness compared to other boba shops would be 50-70%. A lot of places 100% is overwhelmingly sweet but THIS DING TEA SET THEIR SWEETNESS LEVEL TO PERFECT xD MANGO & LYCHEE YAKULT- They're pretty sweet with the flavoring, I think I'd get half sweet. Still pretty good MANGO GREEN TEA- It's sweet but good, I'm going to Have to try maybe half sweet next time. I think that's about it. I'm planning to try more drinks just so that I can recommend it to friends and family!!!! Staff is super friendly. I drink boba everywhere and this is definitely one of my favorite spots. Their golden boba which is their standard boba taste amazing and has a great texture every time. You know how sometimes you go into a boba spot late at night and you can sometimes taste that the boba has been sitting a while, that does not happen here. Very decorative and modern interior. Drinks are very delicious with the right amount sweetness. I got the jasmine MT with egg pudding 30% sweet and it's probably my favorite one in the area.
