Craving some boba and this place definitely has delicious chewy boba! I again got the honeydew slush. I got it at 50% sweet and geezzzzzeeee it was still soooooooo sweet! They have many things on their menu. Their drinks are not as flashy as other boba shops or franchises, but they have a good assortment of drinks. I got a potted plant drink. They have a variety of sauce options for your snack: ranch, chili sauce, spicy mayo, etc. My go to drink if you need to stay awake is the oolong tea. It's really good and my go to study drink. I recommend getting drinks at 25% sweet (drinks tend to be really sweet). It's quiet and clean. There are outlets (for charging) in the restaurant. The drinks and food is always good whenever I visit here, but the customer service and teamwork is a bit lacking. Lately I would have to wait a bit until a worker comes up to help. Ah, a good ol' boba shop. Refreshing as it seems like many boba shops these days, especially newer ones, tend to be overly trendy (IMO). Authentic Taiwanese popcorn chicken with the lightly-crisp coating and tender meat. As a nitpick though I wished it had more seasoning on it. Fried tofu was a bit of a dud because although it had an ASMR-crunchy exterior it was downright bland; pretty much mandatory to dunk the pieces into one of the available sauces (I chose sweet and sour)! The matcha milk tea was exactly how I wanted it to be; perfect 50% sweetness and nice earthy flavor. Included matcha boba pearls in it due to curiosity (have never seen it as an option at other boba shops); had a slight matcha flavor and the texture and chew was similar to that of crystal boba. My sister got the Vietnamese coffee and she said that "it was pretty good"; no further comment lol. I dig this boba shop. Definitely will be an addition to my boba shop rotation! read more

Update since my last visit -- The owner reached out to address the issue and offer to remake the drink which was nice. The last time I was there they only had the takeout window and there was no dining there is currently dine in. Tonight I decided to stop by (10/19) and the workers were both super nice and friendly! Way more welcoming compared to my last visits. I think her name was Yaone? Aside from my remake I also got their snacks! Seems like all of them are in stock now. I got the fried oysters + curry fish ball. The oysters were 5 for $8. Not bad tbh most places charge more, it is oyster so I understand. It was really good dipped with their sweet chili sauce. Didn't greet me and took her time getting to me to take my order. Prepared my order and just left it on the counter. I stopped by on friday afternoon for the first time and the worker recommended the honey green milk tea for me while my sister got the taro smoothie. The honey green milktea was aromatic and had excellent flavor while not being too sweet, not only that but the boba was the most wonderful texture--chewy, bouncy and the perfect addition to complement the drink. My sister's drink had this amazing creamy texture to it that just went down so smoothly while being packed with flavor! The interior was spacious but cozy and clearly well kept. The best part of Tea Culture though is hands down the staff. Felicity at the counter was so friendly and eager to help us with a smile on her face, my sister and i couldn't decide what to order off their menu but her recommendations were spot on! But it definitely taste like watered black tea, there's no black tea aromatics at all. The worst thing was our snacks, fried popcorn chicken and calamari came out really gross. I've been a regular for a while now, and overall, I've always enjoyed their drinks. They consistently make them well, and the quality is great. I especially appreciate the servers who have been there for a longer time. They are always polite, remember my usual order (which is a nice touch!), and are genuinely friendly. These long-term employees really make the experience pleasant. However, in the past couple of months, I've encountered a frustrating issue. On several occasions, when I've come in around 8:00 PM, they've been out of either boba or black tea. This has happened frequently enough to be a noticeable problem. Today, I arrived even earlier, at 7:30 PM, and was disappointed to find they were already out of boba. Considering tapioca is such a popular topping, I would strongly suggest that management consider prepping an estimated extra batch for the later part of the day. Ensuring they have enough boba to last until at least 9:30 PM (30 minutes before their 10:00 PM closing time) would significantly improve the experience for evening customers. Finally, there is an individual who is always wearing a black bucket hat and glasses who I've found to be consistently dry. While I don't expect overly enthusiastic service, the lack of any interest in their job is palpable. On most of my encounters with this person, they seem disengaged and I've often witnessed them throwing or slamming dishes into the sink. Drinks are good, snacks are even better. I come here with my family quite often, usually at night for a pick me up. Employees are welcoming, some may not give the best service but it's still good. Although there is one worker that did stand out to me but not necessarily in a good way. When we come here at night, this employee is almost always working. We've noticed that she speaks in a loud tone with some not so appropriate words. I understand if you're working with a friend and talking but when there are kids around I think she should be cautious of what she says. This place is pretty good, I come here often during the week day. The staff are lovely, they remember our drinks and are quick. But I noticed that most of the weekdays there's always only one person working, I see them handle the front, drinks, and kitchen. Some days they look drained, I would understand when my drinks take a little longer. But I hope management will put more people on shift, and that others will be kinder and understanding towards the workers. They may not be able to give you the best service at times but not everyone can keep a positive mindset all the time.
