Pina Colada Smoothie with Coconut Jelly(secret drink). This tropical drink was very sweet & delicious as well!
    Rachelle P.

We stopped in over the weekend to quench our thirst!Hubby and our toddler ordered the Strawberry Slush(25% sweetness) to share and enjoyed this refreshing drink! I tried a sip and LOVED it, fruity with the perfect amount of sweetness!! I ordered the Pina Colada Smoothie with Coconut Jelly(secret drink). This tropical drink was very sweet and delicious as well! This small business makes made to order blended drinks, teas with toppings like jelly, boba, whipped cream and sea cream! They also sell honey toast and a variety of snacks! Great shop and service with a smile! We'll be back! *Song Credit: Glass Museum by Johnny La Rock

Drinks here are pretty good. The milk tea has strong tea flavor. And their boba texture is not too chewy. They have a good amount of seating and games for groups to hang out. Also so a lot of people studying here. Service is pretty quick and prices are comparable to other places in the area. Would definitely come again if in the area.

Potted Plant Milk Tea (Black Tea)

This place is in the running for the longest standing OG boba shop in Elk Grove. However, it's taken me how many years to try it out and give it a review. It's actually a very spacious spot. They have many things on their menu. Their drinks are not as flashy as other boba shops or franchises, but they have a good assortment of drinks. I got a potted plant drink. I would say the milk tea has a strong taste, more than I prefer. But if you're one that likes a strong tea taste, this place does it well. The cashier/barista was nice and patient. And the prices are fair. Pretty solid boba shop.

Mango Sago Delight. Not the same as mango sago :)

This is a decent boba place in the area. The few times that I have been here, they were not busy. There are few tables for customers. The quality of their drinks were pretty good. Sometimes their sago was a bit undercooked though. Service was quick. They do offer some drinks hot but most are cold. Other than drinks, they also offer snacks as well.

Has good WiFi and seating area for studying. People here are helpful. And they have the best popcorn chicken

Tea culture is a great place to study and grab a quick snack. The fried tofu here is so good and one of my favorite places to get fried tofu. They have a variety of sauce options for your snack: ranch, chili sauce, spicy mayo, etc. My go to drink if you need to stay awake is the oolong tea. It's really good and my go to study drink. I recommend getting drinks at 25% sweet (drinks tend to be really sweet). It's quiet and clean. There are outlets (for charging) in the restaurant. Because the front of house is small, there are only a few tables.

Tea Culture has been around in Elk Grove for awhile now but I don't go much.. however I may be coming more often now after trying their green thai tea. Most boba shops don't serve green thai tea and I usually have to get it when I go down to the bay.. Tea Culture is a cute little boba shop with very simplistic design. They have a lot of tables and chairs for people to come and enjoy their drinks and food. They serve popcorn chicken, honey toast, French fries, etc. They have a variety of drinks as well, I love how open their menu selection is. The service is super quick as well.

    Mango Delish w/ Coconut Jelly
    Ellyzha A.

Ordered Mango Delish w/ 50% sweetness. I appreciate how it was actually 50% sweetness! It was not too sweet and the coconut jelly complimented the drink well. My only issue was that they forgot to add the sago that's suppose to come with the drink. I think that would've leveled it up. I love how nicely it was decorated inside. The person serving us was kind and answered any questions we had. Overall, great place!

Was recommended love potion and tropical sunrise. Both were delicious. It was hot out yesterday. Definitely refreshing. I would recommend adding a bit of acidity to the tropical. Like pineapple or use the green mangi

Thai tea & strawberry lava nada
    David T.

ORDER Regular size Thai tea with rainbow jelly Strawberry lava nada Calamari Popcorn chicken Fried oyster Cajun Fries Pretty good popcorn chicken and fried oysters. Thai tea was good also but honestly it's such a basic drink it's pretty hard to mess up. Prices were fair and it was a Sunday afternoon so not busy at all. Parking is shared within the plaza. Service was okay with no issues for the amount of food I ordered. They have reward system so you can maybe earn a free drink. If I'm in the area and craving boba, I'll comeback to Tea Culture.

This place makes really good shrimp fries but not only that their boba is so delicious. They usually make it pretty fast and it's always ready whenever you pick it up. It's a really nice boba shop but sometimes it's not always open to actually sit down and enjoy but i guess it depends.

Matcha milk tea & Vietnamese coffee
    Gillian A.

Ah, a good ol' boba shop. Refreshing as it seems like many boba shops these days, especially newer ones, tend to be overly trendy (IMO). Authentic Taiwanese popcorn chicken with the lightly-crisp coating and tender meat. As a nitpick though I wished it had more seasoning on it. Fried tofu was a bit of a dud because although it had an ASMR-crunchy exterior it was downright bland; pretty much mandatory to dunk the pieces into one of the available sauces (I chose sweet and sour)! The matcha milk tea was exactly how I wanted it to be; perfect 50% sweetness and nice earthy flavor. Included matcha boba pearls in it due to curiosity (have never seen it as an option at other boba shops); had a slight matcha flavor and the texture and chew was similar to that of crystal boba. My sister got the Vietnamese coffee and she said that "it was pretty good"; no further comment lol. I dig this boba shop. Definitely will be an addition to my boba shop rotation!

Strawberry Green tea with cheese foam
    Lola C.

I haven't been here for years, but the drinks are still consistent. Service was friendly. I got a strawberry green tea with cheese foam. I think 50% sweetness. The girl at the counter said that's one of the good ones.

What's vegan on the menu? Do any of the powdered tea flavorings contain any milk derivatives?

No, but they have different milk options like soy milk or almond milk etc. Instead of regular cow milk

Always a HUGE plus. cute, clean and asthetic decor inside - such warm and calm vibes there's a kiosk to order your drinks. From my experience, although I ordered from a kiosk... the workers still took the time to chat with me and my husband as we walked in, while we waited, and after they were finished with our drinks. Staff is friendly here even while they are busy perfecting our drinks drinks aren't too sweet which i love! I've tried their strawberry matcha and its one of the best I've had. Not too sweet and not too bitter! I also tried their jazzy limeade! Its a unique and refreshing tea perfect for the summer. If you get this drink.. be aware it may seem bitter to people because of its unique flavoring profiles. Get it 75% sweetness and once your ice melts a bit .. the drink is super tasty, unique and refreshing!! they also serve sweet taiyako with unique filling flavors! Idk how they do it but it always comes out super crispy. I've tried these at other dessert spots and always get really soggy or soft taiyakis so I was so shocked how crispy and fresh these were. They do make it on the spot in front of you so maybe that's why?! Or their batter is just high quality. Whatever it is.. im not complaining! This has been my new go to boba spots in Elk Grove! The Taiyaki was a standout: crispy on the outside while staying warm, soft, and chewy on the inside. It had that perfect balance of texture that makes it really satisfying. The Dubai Chocolate Chewy Cookie was super indulgent. It had this rich cocoa-marshmallow exterior with a generous filling that made every bite feel decadent without being overwhelming. As for drinks, their new JPC (Jasmine Tea Pistachio Foam Coconut Water, organic) was incredibly smooth and refreshing. The jasmine tea flavor paired beautifully with the creamy pistachio foam, and the pink coconut water kept it light and hydrating. Overall, everything felt thoughtfully made and well-balanced--great flavors, not overly sweet, and really enjoyable. I'd definitely come back to try more.

This was my first time trying YiFang Taiwan and I was craving a refreshing mango pomelo sago drink after eating a savory meal but the mango pomelo sago was unfortunately sold out so I went with the mango sago and added jelly instead. They made my order wrong, but remade it for me and let me keep the first drink so I appreciated that very much. Their customer service is good and they were quick to resolve the issue. However, I did not really enjoy my drink. When they gave me the first drink with only jelly and no sago, my first impression was surprise at the large quantity of jelly topping in the drink. The toppings made up like 35-40% of the drink. I had the thought to ask them to use less toppings when remaking the drink but I assumed that if they were going to remake it and add two toppings, that it would be the same amount but divided into two. I regretted not asking though because in the corrected drink, they gave me so much topping that it made up half of the drink. They also did not drain the sago and it was not mixed in with the mango drink so it was very off putting and tasted strange compared to the first drink. Even when I tried mixing it all together, there was hardly any drink and all that was coming through the straw were the toppings. I gave up on the drink and ended up just drinking the first drink they made me. I think the topping portions is kind of crazy and I have never really experienced that before. I would much rather have more drink than toppings. I wish I knew about this beforehand or I wouldn't have added an extra topping. I would be open to trying this place again but only ordering their original drinks as is and/or requesting less toppings. I don't want to make quick judgements from this one drink because I have heard good things about YiFang drinks and they had great customer service. I added boba, And was disappointed because the bubble was not sweetened and there was a lot more food than expected compared to other boba shops. The pearls are also smaller than used to. My other drink was a white peach tea, also. For both milk teas that I received, I could barely taste any tea. Those teas we are also very lightly sweetened when I requested for less sugar. I think that full sweetness actually would be enough sweetness for me since I usually get one level last week anyway. For the third drink, I ordered a enemies coffee, At my second visit, I tried signature fruit tea and the hojicha winter melon tea with pudding. The signature fruit tea was 100% sweetness and was not really sweet. I had also asked for the size. For the winter melon milk tea, I opted for the regular dairy option, which made the drink creamier than the first drinks. I had full sweetness for the string, which was pretty sweet considering that there are winter melon pieces in there, which would be a burst of sweetness. Overall the shop is very clean, plenty of seating. Service was pretty friendly! Overall, this is a solid boba shop for this side of Elk Grove!
