I'm impressed with interior design of this shop. It's supper cute! This place is pretty good! We've ordered two larb and one raw bitter larb. They give out a good portion size especially for their sticky rice. Their boba tastes really good, I was really surprised. I'd definitely be back to try more of the menu and other varieties of their bobas now that it's pretty close to my parent's house.

I came across this spot after a hair appointment nearby and was so glad to see this area got a Vietnamese place! I tried the Mango Peach slush with lychee jelly and tapioca added and it was GREAT. It was pretty sweet, but very refreshing and light. I also tried the shrimp spring rolls, my favorite order, and thought they were pretty good! The rice noodles were a little overcooked/mushy but the lettuce and shrimp tasted great. Their peanut sauce was just okay though. I will be coming back next time I'm in the area because with a little TLC, I can see Time Pho Boba getting even better!

Revamped pure water. Hmong owned. Food items are now part of the menu with boba. This place is not a bad spot to try out but due to construction and rebuilding, the shop could use a whole new look. You can still refill your water here! Just note that some faucets still aren't working. Take out only and orders can be placed through Doordash, phone call, or in person. It would've been nice to be reminded that it was takeout only because I wanted to try the food fresh. So make sure you pay attention to that. The ambiance needs work, food is good and service is fast and friendly! I ordered the Pho combination plate and the Thai boat. Both were interesting and had their own pros and cons. Pho combination plate was not bad but not great. The broth tasted like most of the broth was canned and it had a canned smell. Although, they did make the broth, it could've been better. When it said 2 shrimp, they really meant 2 shrimp pieces. No tendons and no tripe. I was a bit let down but their garlic chili oil was good. That's as much as I'd like to say. Thai boat was phenomenal. The broth was on point and I'm still in awe how good it tastes. The meat was lacking but the taste was there. I love spicy foods but do not add the chili oil. Chili flakes would've been a better choice. The chili oil changes the taste of the broth which I was bummed about. I did save half of the broth, to be eaten later, so that saved me from sadness. All in all, I come here for the water and raw beef laab but I'll definitely come back to try the boba and other food items. Try it out!

I went to this place two days ago forgot to post a review. I only ordered their papaya salad. It is with the new ownership and the papaya salad came out pretty good. It was crunchy and not soggy or soft. It wasn't salty either and it was a young girl who made my papaya salad. I've had better papaya salads but this place is good. Definitely recommend for anyone who is in the area and is craving papaya salad or just want a quick bite . Although the portion size could be a little bit more. The previous owner definitely made a bigger portion and I'm not sure if the papaya salad always comes with vermicelli noodles because when I opened the box, it was a very little bundle of the noodles as if it was given to a toddler to eat it or something it wasn't like the usual amount of noodles you get at South Area Market. Overall, I'd come back again.

The size portion of their Hmong sausage with sticky rice can't be beat! Delicious, filling, and affordable. You can call in your order ahead of time and come pay when you pick it up. Service is friendly and very fast! Just wish their dine in area was ready, would love to come back when it is.

    4.5/5 Pretty flavorful.

I am bias. I am giving this place a 5/5 because its always fast service and I always come here for my beef raw larb.

    Mangonada

Best mangonada. Go for the mango nada. In a way the mango nada kind of sucks because they seal it and don't use a bubble lid and the candy come separate. The Thai tea is not good. Don't go for Thai tea. It's very plain and with lots of ice. It taste like milk, water, and sugar. The worst thai tea I ever had . My bf drank it. He don't like to waste food so he's drinking it. The papaya salad looks really good and dark but it's very bland..... also the inside is very dim Looks ghetto. Needs more light

This place is so convenient for the neighborhoods! They sale pho, boat noodles, rice plates and boba drinks and papaya salad. I always stop by for food when I don't have time to cook or crave Hmong food. First time getting papaya today and it's a 10/10!!! Satisfied my cravings to death!! I love how they use skinny tiny Kapoon noodles so it's easy to eat along with the papaya. It's sour, spicy and dark sauce! Just 10/10 . The drinks are always good too. My go to is the guava milk tea.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Lots of options on the menu and I appreciate that they have some items for kids and utensils and extra bowls for the kids. The place is quiet and clean. All the food came out super hot and fresh. Will definitely be back Steak and egg skillet: 5/5. I love these skillet dishes. The steak was flavorful and tender. The sauce in the skillet was not too heavy or sweet. It had a nice balanced flavor. All the different foods that came on the skillet were good. The meatball was a tad sweet for me. The baguette was warm and crispy. So good. Very good dish and one of the better ones I've had. Grilled rib eye rice combo: 5/5. I could be wrong, but I thought the beef had a slight lemongrass flavor that I love. The meat was tender. We got the garlic rice with it and it definitely elevates the flavors. Would recommend trying it with the garlic rice Egg rolls: 5/5. Came out nice and hot and crispy. The flavor is on the lighter side, but I thought it was flavorful enough. It also comes with fish sauce to dip in for more flavor and it was really good with that as well. Our boys love egg rolls and they approved. lol Kids noodle soup/pho: 4/5. Generous portion for the kids to share. They keep it simple for the kids. Just rice noodles and sliced beef. You can also add on meatballs, but we didn't since our boys don't always eat the meatballs. The pho broth was decent. The boys enjoyed it. I don't know if I would get a big bowl for myself. I prefer the other dishes here

Everyone's attention to detail is on point. Amazing experience and looking forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu. A variety of dishes served here- must try their baguette! So earlier this year I got introduced to this place thru a Yelp Elite experience and needless to…read moresay that visit really blew me away. Since that visit I have returned three different times, always bringing someone different to show off this excellent restaurant find located near 73rd and Stockton Blvd Engawa Fusion is such a special place-this restaurant is over 30 minutes from my house in Natomas in traffic ,yet that never stops me from trekking my way across Sacramento-I love this place that much. On this particular visit we started with 2 different sushi tacos-We had the tuna version and the salmon version-each priced at $11.00. Now I could write a novel explaining the virtues of these culinary creations but I will keep it short-the tuna and the salmon tacos are such the perfect bite-well balanced-well seasoned-surprisingly heavy in the hand while being light to the taste-it's truly been my favorite new food item discovery of 2026. Next we went with the Stir-Fry Udon and this cost us $16.00. I've described this dish in the past as a dish I could eat every day of my life and would be a very happy person. The flavor and seasonings are flawless, the noodles are cooked perfectly, great chew-a very slurpable noodle for sure. I can easily see why this dish is such a popular item on their menu. This restaurant was given a spot on Yelps Top 100 Places to eat in 2025-nothing in this visit did a thing to show that honor wasn't well deserved. In closing-I don't know if I could recommend this spot any higher and I plan many future visits whenever I want to show people how amazing the culinary experience in Sacramento has truly become. 10/10 experience. PS-Parking could be a bit of a challenge as they share a lot with an auto shop but all of my visits I was able to secure a spot-I am sure you will as wel

The restaurant is always clean and the staff always attentive. In our most recent visit we tried dishes we never ordered before. The Tom Kha with seafood is fantastic and I like this better than the Tom Yum (which is a bit too sweet for my taste). Chicken Satay was smoky and tender with a generous portion of chicken on each skewer. Ancient Pad Thai really surprised me - it has the essence of regular pad thai but more umami with interesting depth of flavor. I highly recommend this one! Pad Ped (Salmon) was also very good but best enjoyed fresh from the kitchen. Lightly battered cubes of salmon tossed in a red curry stir fry with veggies - so delicious! Pretty sure anything you order here will be good. Other noteworthy dishes are the papaya salad and (any) fried rice. I have yet to try any of the noodle soups but maybe I'll try that next!

Kao piek- I have never had it at a restaurant, only homemade and this tasted just like it was homemade! The noodles were cooked to perfection and soup was spiced to the T. Boat noodles- lots of beef, soup was great, loved the veggies. Beef was cooked medium rare. Sample platter- it had a perfect amount of variety. Chicharonnes, boiled egg, fried chicken wings, cabbage for the papaya salad and Lao sausage. I have no complaints about this platter, every single thing was delicious. Papaya was also style. Beef laarb- Lao style- we ordered it cooked because my friend doesn't like medium rare meat, it was on the dry side. It would have been better if it was medium rare. Mango sticky rice- OH MY GOODNESS!! It was Sssoooo goooddd!!! The sauce in it was sweet and salty. Mangoes were the perfect ripeness, it was sweet but not too sweet and just the right firmness. Purple and white sticky rice was smothered with the sauce. I saw a table next to us each get their own mango sticky rice and that was it. That's how good it is. Laos style vs thai style- Lao style sauce is brown and had crab paste in it. Thai style is more lime juice and fish sauce only. I highly recommend also style. My new Thai spot.

The parking lot had plenty of spots available. I was warmly greeted before being seated to a table along the window. The menu has many options of popular Thai dishes. I thought the RAO's platter was the perfect appetizer to order so I could try multiple dishes at once. I almost always try a rice dish at any Asian restaurant so I chose crab fried rice. At the last minute I decided to add the crying tiger to my order. Especially since the server said it wasn't very spicy. Food arrived without too much of a wait. The platter was delicious and I appreciated three sauce options for different palates. The egg roll was nice and crispy, not too oily. The wonton was yummy. The chicken was fine for a skewer, but the other two were my favorites. The crab fried rice was decent. I would prefer a little more crab because as I am writing this out, I don't remember seeing big pieces of crab meat. The crying tiger was a deliciously prepared NY steak. I was able to request how to have the meat prepared and asked for medium rare. The meat had a nice pink color and was tender. There were some fatty pieces, but that is to be expected. We ordered mango sticky rice and asked that it be brought out at the end of the meal. The dessert was prepared as expected. The mango was sweet and the rice was chewy. I liked that the condensed milk was served on the side so we could add it to our liking. The dining room had beautiful decor and artwork along the walls. I spent some of the time waiting for my food looking around and enjoying the art pieces.
