This is where you go at 2 am. Ive come to this location on several occasions very drunk and or blacked out. The pizza is good for those kind of nights I wouldn't come here otherwise. For being open 24 hours and having decent size servings they are ok. The downfall is that 90% of the pizza is dough! This seems like the place were you come at 3am to get food from a long night of drinking. I wouldent order anything off here. The pizza really has no flavor all you can taste is dough. Chose DiNico's for our last pizza dinner. We ordered 2 extra large pizzas for pickup, a double mushroom and Hawaiian. The pizza was cold when it got home, which was unfortunate. We asked for easy cheese because normally they put a ton of cheese on their pizzas, but ours had barely any cheese at all! Not much sauce either. The slices were just way too bready and desperately needed more toppings. Our "double" mushroom pizza didn't look like extra mushroom to me. I'm disappointed in the quality of this pizza as it normally is pretty good. Ultimately we got cold hunks of bread, which wasn't what we wanted. Let me start off by saying this place was great a couple of years ago, but in the past few months the food here has been nothing but a huge disappointment. It seems like all the food now is of extremely poor quality, the pizza is all bread with one drop of sauce and a thin layer of cheese, the nachos are exactly like the one's you get at the movie theater, they are served with hard, dry, crunchy chips and a small cup of watered down cheese-like product. If I wanted AMC-style nachos, I would've gone to my local theater and payed $5 there. My friend ordered the chicken wings, she said they were disgusting, the "buffalo sauce" tasted like ketchup. I have ordered dinico's pizza at least 50 times and am saddened to say I will never again order from them. We ordered a football style pizza which came burnt. They offered us another pizza but we had to leave to work and had to eat somewhere else. The girl at the register offered us a free pizza the next time we order and had outstanding customer service. When we called a few days later and tried to order the man on the phone (manager?) said she does not have the authority to do that and said we could have 25% off. Unbelievable! I work in customer service and if that happened in my company we wouldn't be where we are today. The manager is completely out of line and needs a lesson in customer service. This review is based on the pizza only. I went in there for the pizza slice and drink special. It was $5 or something. Sauce was good, I liked the cheese, but the crust, not so much. The pizza slice is way huge. You get a lot for the money, but I can't get by that crust. It seemed like it was 5000lbs worth of crust and it was very doughy. Di'nicos a little pizza joint in Berwyn best known for being open late night. The pizza is not particularly good the service is not particularly good and if you come here at the right time during the summer you can find all sorts of fruit flies in the air. People don't come here because the food is so great. They come here because there's a lot of it and it's readily available at all hours. So maybe it's my fault for trying to engage this pizza at a normal hour while unintoxicated. I placed an order through di'nicos website for a stadium Pizza. No big deal. But upon arrival they said they'd never received an order for my pizza. I showed them the receipt that has their name their moniker address the whole shebang. They then tell me that they use a third-party website to place orders that is not very reliable. And that I would have to try to get my money back from the third party and that they were no longer able to help me. When asked why use an unreliable service that the owner himself says he does not like, his reply was simple. "I use it because if we don't we won't get orders that everyone else does." It seems to me that using a site that doesn't place the order and takes your customers money might also help ensure that you lose business and still not get those orders, you're looking for. It's just my humble opinion that if the service is going to be subpar, the pizza is going to be subpar, and the reliability factor will be lacking, that there's really no reason to come to this establishment. It doesn't matter if you're open late or you can have a large slice if your pre-order in your money is stolen and you walked out empty-handed. read more

This place is absolutely terrible. For starters, their pizza is incredibly doughy. There is way too much dough in ratio to the amount of cheese. The most pathetic thing though, is they can't get a driver who can carry a pizza properly! My mom and aunt always order from this place, and I seriously can't even count the number of times where the cheese was slid off all the way to the side because the driver doesn't know how to carry a pizza! As I see from other reviews, it's far from being merely bad luck on my family's part. I would never order a pizza from here again. Oh, and BTW, don't buy the slices at the restaurant either. If I could give this place zero stars I would. It took them 2 hours to bring my food. It was almost 1am when the delivery guy arrived. I ordered around 10:30p. I even called the restaurant right a ay to confirm that they received my order. The man confirmed. I called back an hour later as the delivery was supposed to be between 40-60mins and they said they didn't have my order. I was pissed especially because I always call to confirm after placing an order online. Long story short, it took them another hour to get my food to me and the tomato and mozzarella salad was disgusting. Most of the time the pizza is great. It is not my all time favorite but it is good when you are craving. They arent always consistent but they do well most of the time. I get it delievered each time I order. It usually takes right under an hour for it to arrive. They also started sending a soda with your pizza order. The soda is made with real sugar, not high fructose corn syrup, which is a big plus for. :) read more

I ate here this past Friday evening. The food was great and the service I received was great, and the pricing of all the menu items I saw was superior, but the reason why this place gets only three stars is the size of the dining area. Okay, I know that this place is located in a strip mall on a stretch of Roosevelt Road that is dead and very narrow (and currently undergoing construction btw) in comparison to the busy, wide, bustling stretches throughout Chicago and Lombard, but come on now. Virtually every table inside here was filled except for two, and it was a little challenging to navigate around other diners and the chairs they pulled out to sit in. It really has been far too long since I had DiNico's. Just about 2 years to be exact. I just recently discovered the Chicago wonder known as the Pepper & Egg and I have to admit, DiNico's' sandwich is pretty good. Also, since the last time I was in here, Gelato Uno has closed (unfortunately), but the by-the-slice offerings have quadrupled. I like that they have 2 different price tiers - about $4.50 + tax for the basics (cheese, sausage, pepperoni) and $5 + tax for the specials (vegetarian, "garbage" and a few others). That is a welcome change of pace. The crust does seem to be a little thinner than I remember, though. I still stand by my (apparently unwritten) opinion that I would much rather have "half" a slice for about half the price ($2.50-$3 for half), which is more in line with Nonno's or Freddy's for the size. I mean, say I'm someone who walks in but doesn't want all that pizza, or has no fridge to store it in at work? Consider it, please. The $4 a slice I drop at Damenzo's is as high as I usually go, and I think if you offered a half-slice option, it would be a hit, especially since people can actually see in person how big half a slice would be. Relevant, but not my opinion - my friend considers the Italian Beef sandwich (with cheese) from DiNico's the best he has ever had. So take that as you will. read more

We had Dinico's a couple of week's ago. We ordered a deep dish pizza with a side of fries and buffalo wings. The prices were incredibly affordable. They delivered it to my place after an hour we ordered, which isn't too bad. The deep dish pizza was surprisingly good; cheese was really cheesy, crust was nice, and the sauce tasted good. Without a doubt, this is my go to place if I want something cheap and easy. And plus, they're open from 6am to 530am the next day! read more

I used to like this place, but after my last experience I recommend you go somewhere else. Here's what happened: I saw pictures of their catering menu, like the appetizer sampler and the cannoli platter that is pictured on here (yelp) . So I called to get more information about their catering packages like prices and stuff and the girl that answered the phone was beyond rude!! As soon as I asked her about the prices she said, "No, we don't have catering." Me: "Then, why does it say you do?" Girl:"that is not from us, those aren't us, you better call other place. What else you need?" I just kept insisting on getting some more information about the catering options they had and she just kept treating like I was some sort of burden to her, girl: "so are you going to order or not?" Like come on! I have been going to this place for a long time and they either need to train their cashiers or who ever answers the phone with better customer skills. I called another place and while they were giving their information I get a call back from this place which I ignored of coarse. They left a voice mail, and to my surprise it was this girl calling me again! She left me a voicemail saying that if I wanted more information on the catering packages to give them a call back! Like what? First you tell me you don't do catering then you call back to tell me you do? Either get your things straight or train your personnel better. FIY I went with the other place.
