We ordered for the first time February 14. Valentines day. We ordered a deep dish at 6.31pm, it was delivered at 8.44pm. When it arrived the pizza was so burnt it was black. I called and I was very understanding. They did not offer to replace it that night. She kept putting me on hold. I was told they would honor it next time I ordered. When I wanted to reorder I was told only 20% off. I wanted a thin crust instead of a deep dish. If a business cannot honor their word what a shame. The owner came on the phone very unapologetic then offered me $10.00 off. I have learned to never be as accommodating again. To them its business not keeping the customer happy and satisfied. I ordered 2 pizzas that totaled just under $50. Upon opening the first box, I immediately noticed a short hair on the slice I was grabbing. Further inspection of the hair led me to believe that it was an animal hair possibly a cat. It was approximately 2 inches long, was black with white on the end. I called and the person that answered the phone transferred me to the manager Carla. Carla proceeded to tell me that it wasn't possible because they don't have cats there, the driver is allergic to cats, everyone was wearing hairnets, and so on. I don't know how the hair got there and that is not my problem to figure out. There are absolutely no animals at my mother's home and no one here has any pets whatsoever. Instead of an apology and offering to resolve the situation, the manager was condescending, tried to speak over me and when I did not allow it, she hung up on me. I called back, asked to speak to the manager and was hung up on again. I called a third time and Carla told me we were "disconnected". Yes, Carla, that much is obvious. I find it hard to believe it was accidental. Your lack of customer service and problem solving skills has lost you a customer. I want people to know that this place does not value their patrons. A tall, skinny I think hispanic guy who is the manager I believe, was very rude. He called me a "b" word. Very disrespectful. He gave me a rude tone because I had my leg on the chair. They had great customer service because I ordered delivery 6 mins before closing and they got me my food quickly. The wings were exactly what I needed but the panini befuddled me. Compared to some other places I have been, DI Nico's is like a long lost friend. Everyone I have encountered here, both in person and on the phone, have been super friendly and helpful. One night, I went in after a night out, about 2:00 in the morning. I just wanted a slice, something to soak up the alcohol. There was a good looking pizza on the serving counter. I asked what was on it and the girl said that someone had ordered it and had not picked it up. She said that if I wanted a slice of it, she would give me the whole pizza for the price of a slice. Um, yeah, now I had something to eat tomorrow - and it was good! No, it's not "artisan" pizza, but if's not Domino's either. We enjoy ordering take out from Di Nico's Pizza. Our food usually arrives within an hour after calling in the order, and always arrives nice and hot. We've even ordered during a snow storm and we're pleased when our pizzas arrived,still hot! I love their pizza crust. It's nice and crispy and is the perfect thickness, not to much dough. We love their jalapeño poppers and cheese fries. We have dined in at Di Nico's only once. The pizza is still good but it's not the same as the delivery style pizza. I have only ordered pizza from this place for delivery. The delivery has been pretty quick, and the prices are in line with the rest of the pizza joints around town. For a large pizza, you run upwards of $20 after tax, $2 delivery, and tip. The delivery people have been friendly. I just moved about a month ago and decided to try DiNico's since I live a couple blocks away. I'm not one to always write reviews, but the workers here are so TERRIBLE I was compelled to write one. So I walk in and its moderately busy and I wait in line. When I get to the front I'm not even greeted or asked "how can I help you". Now, i'm not expecting an overenthusiastic greeting, but at least some acknowledgement of my presence would be nice. Instead some blonde girl with blue eyes looks at me and WALKS AWAY. She comes back two minutes later asking me "are you ready" with an annoyed look. I was dumbfounded. I was ready when I got to the front of the line WITH my card out ready to pay? I proceed to place my order while she's chatting away and cracking jokes with her coworkers in the back not even paying attention. She then slams a small cup in my face and takes care of the next customer. Being new to this place I didn't know the cup was for me, she failed to mention that I got a free small beverage with my purchase. I left that place upset and almost went back to speak to her manager, but I didn't. Working in customer service I know that some days are better than others, and so I decided to give this place a second chance. BIG MISTAKE. This time it was a tall young man with hazel green eyes. While placing my order he was also talking to his coworkers and gave me attitude the ENTIRE time and seemed annoyed that I was even talking to him. It seems this place fails to employ people with basic customer service skills. How hard is it to greet someone coming in? "Hi, can I help you?" It's not that hard. It's too bad because I love their cheese fries, but I will not be recommending this place to anyone until they up their game on customer service. Who knows maybe third times a charm. read more

The WORST service ever. Not the employees but the manager/owner, ROSE!!! She does not deserve to own a business nor does she know how to run a business. I've been coming to Di Nicos since I was in high school, never once have I ever been treated so badly. If you don't know, Di Nicos is open 24 hrs. My friends and I were going to sit and enjoy our pizza. Others were doing it so assumed there was no problem, the manager told her employee to tell people who were eating they had to get up and leave. It was ridiculous these people paid for pizza and in the middle of eating they were asked to leave because the "owner" ROSE Did not like it when the restaurant was packed and had people in the dining area. Rose ended up calling the police because we questioned her about her decision to ask people to leave in the middle of the meal and told us she was the owner and could do what she wanted. I would definitely give Rose a negative star for her poor management skills. If you can't handle customers in your dining area at a peak time, you shouldn't be an owner. read more

Just got an XL pizza delivered. Total crap. Completely inedible. Ordered thin crust sausage with half onions. The dough is at least an inch thick and tastes underdone and glue-like. The onions are invisible little flecks that add nothing - waste of $30 and we are still hungry. I've had their pizza before, but this so bad we won't be calling back. Whoops, I did it again. Kids wanted DiNico's and I forgot how bad it is. Same as above, just a gluey bread like crust with basic flavorless ingredients. Hope I remember to never order this again. I always wondered how a place can claim to be the "World's Best" or "World's Biggest"....after visiting Dinico's I now know why. This place definitely has the "World's Largest" slice of pizza. The thing is a quarter of a full pie! They even have a sign that states if you can eat 2 slices ( = 1/2 pizza) in 30 mins or less without getting sick you will win a t-shirt. Sounds mighty tempting but I think I'll sit this one out as to not embarrass myself. I don't know how you wouldn't get sick from eating 1/2 a pizza in under 30 mins!! Onto the pizza...wow, it was good. I wasn't expecting much but my bf insisted they had really good pizza...he wasn't lying. It was probably the best slice of pizza I've had in a long time. It was so doughy and not too greasy. I had the garbage pizza and all the toppings were fresh. When you get a slice you also get a drink and it is self-serve so you can have as many refills as you'd like. They also have gelato here and I sampled banana split which was really good.
