Chilean sea bass, New Zealand Cabernet Sauvignon. Historical downtown.

Excellent! Started with a Woodford Reserve Manhattan. Very well prepared! App: scallops. Again , well prepared. Chilean sea bass with asparagus (I'm Keto). So moist, tender and crispy on the edges! Asparagus was crisp and well-seasoned. Jesse was a very knowledgeable server who answered my many questions without attitude. Bonus: the bar across the street (Red Dirt Cellars) had a great live duo playing with their doors open! Thanks!!

The dish closest to the camera is Potato Wrapped Halibut and veggies subbed vegetables. The far dish is salmon and a side of shrimp corn.

The food, service and atmosphere was amazing. Nice live piano bar in front with intimate dining. Very classy and not stuffy. I think this could also be a great dressy date night place. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions. I'm not sure who the chef is here but he/she did an excellent job with presentation and flavors. I would definitely recommend and will definitely go back!

Looking for a great steak? Look no further! Dino's is a small, local, mom-and-pop spot serving up delicious steaks with superb service. The venue itself is charming -- it feels like it might have once been an old bank or historic business, which adds to the character. Depending on when you arrive, you might even be greeted by the soft sound of live piano music in the background. There's seating both upstairs and downstairs, plus a grand bar if that's more your vibe. The staff is professional and welcoming, striking the perfect balance between attentive and not hovering. Steaks are served with veggies and creamy garlic mashed potatoes, which for me was more than enough. You also get complimentary bread with whipped butter to start, and for a special occasion (a birthday in my case), they even comped us a delicious dessert -- such a thoughtful touch! My only gripe? Cocktail prices. They aren't listed on the menu, so I was shocked to be charged $18 for a basic well drink . Definitely overpriced, even in today's economy. i can't come often but def a place for special occasion

Amazing meal at Dino's! We were in town for Thanksgiving and went into Grapevine to participate in their Carol of Lights. I made reservations outside at Dino's to watch the tree lighting. Great view and awesome food. We started with the Lobster Bisque and dumplings on a chilly night. They both are hands down a great way to start a meal at Dino's. For main course we chose the potato wrapped Halibut and the marinated pork chop. Everything was well presented and tasted delicious. Check out Dino's if you are in Grapevine.

Went here for my birthday celebration and had an amazing dinner. Service outstanding and I was wished a happy birthday from several people. Lobster bisque was the best I've ever had. Don't miss this. Red snapper very tasty with pecan rice They brought us a tiramisu on the house which was a very nice gesture and was delicious. We have been here a few other times for a special dinner and always left stuffed and happy.

Dino's has a great atmosphere with a rustic Texas style with class and a pianist. The service is great and attentive. The food is not impressive and the steak lacked any seasoning at all which tasted like they just put a piece of meat on top of an open flame. The salads and dessert were the best part of the meal.

I can see why many people would love Dino's. Impeccable ambiance, spectacular service, stellar menu options. I can also see why some might have reserves. First up, the crab cake. $20 for a single crab cake is a little much. My date thought it was a little on the fishy side. I didn't mind it and gladly polished it off for her. While I lived in Florida, Red Snapper was always my fish of choice off the dock, so I was so excited to see it on the menu. Served with a basmati rice and veggies. The snapper was phenomenal but I felt the sauce it was cooked with was a little on the salty side which took away from the snapper. The rice was a nice pairing but the veggies didn't hit for me. Next up was the Special of the Day, Surf and Turf, filet mignon topped with 2 scallops, served with whipped mashed potatoes and veggies. We both felt the steak was good, just not phenomenal. The scallops were cooked to perfection. The potatoes and veggies again just underwhelmed. I saw the reviews about the Macaroni A La Quatro Fromage and it didn't miss! Creamy and Cheesy. I felt it was a little on the salty side but my date didn't get the same impression. Maybe my pallet was just off this night. All in all, Dino's was a great experience. I can see how some would love it and some may be impartial about it.

You know the place is good when everyone is raving about the sides and saying you have to try this. The mashed potatoes are perfectly whipped and full of air, the au gratin potatoes are spectacularly layered with flavor. The Mac and cheese was also full of flavors. But let me tell you the flavor on the tomahawk and the rack of lamb. We all walked out fully and completely satisfied

Very good steakhouse on Main Street in Grapevine. Somewhat quaint but enjoyable ambiance. Service is always exceptional as is the food. I had a house salad then a special plate with filet medium plus top with two large scallops under some Bernaise sauce with veggies and sautéed mushrooms. We shared a bottle of Pinot Noir to top things off. Everything was delicious. Like most steak or seafood places this is expensive but nice for special occasions. No place is the expense more ridiculous than the bar, a mixed drink was $18 which is half the cost of the entire bottle at any local liquor store. At some point it's impossible to justify the cost, I think Dino's is at that point. This is why for me this place is only for very special occasions, but the food quality is exceptional.

    How good the tiramisu is!

Recently we have noticed a 'gnat' issue that really needs to be addressed. During our meal we killed a couple of the little buggers, but several more were there to take their place immediately. An occasional gnat is one thing, but when they interrupt the entire meal, that is excessive and needs to be addressed. We will be back, but we hope this gets addressed- ***Update 2.06.2026 The Tilapia sandwich has been my go to for years but STILL, the issue with this restaurant is the gnat problem! Martin was our server and he was excellent...friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and happy to offer recommendations and answer questions. I started with the Smoke in the Garden cocktail with black salt and Tajín, which was delightful. It was refreshing with just the right balance of flavors. We ordered from the power lunch menu, which is a great way to sample a few things. My first course was the Sonoma green salad which was light, fresh, and a perfect start to the meal. For my second course, I had the broiled salmon with Parmesan mashed potatoes, blue crab, and shrimp. I have an egg allergy, and they were very accommodating by swapping the jalapeño béarnaise for lemon garlic butter. The substitution worked beautifully and the dish was rich and satisfying without feeling too heavy. My dining companion ordered the lobster bisque followed by the sesame seared tuna and cleaned both plates, which is always a good sign. Overall, the food was delicious, the service was attentive, and I really appreciated that the menu includes some thoughtful zero-proof options as well. The ambiance was bright and relaxed. I'd absolutely recommend this location and look forward to coming back to especially to check out the desserts next time.

The Baked Alaska had a cool presentation at the table with the flames but the taste was nothing special. The Carrot Cake on the other hand was awesome. The service at Truluck's was VERY good.
