I wanted to love this place as its so close to home and the place is very nicely decorated but unfortunately the experience wasn't as great for the expectations we had. My friend and I came for her birthday a week into their opening. We got seated right away and ordered drinks with the waitress. The drinks were probably the best thing we had all night but it did take about 20 minutes for them to come out. As it came down to place out order the waitress informed us that the sides that are listed with the entrees do not in fact come with the entrees and they are separate. We were both confused as the menu clearly listed the sides with entrees nor did it say with choice of or not included. Anywho, we ordered our food and sides and waited a while for this to come out as well. She had the carne asada rice and beans and I ordered the carnitas and beans. The carnitas were overloaded with onions and the beans were just okay. We decided to try the creme brûlée for dessert and this was a mistake. We waited about half an hour for the dessert to come out. Once we finally took a spoonful we discovered that the creme brûlée was raw as it was a soupy consistency. We asked for this to be taken back. The manager and chef came out and apologized for the wait and mistake which I appreciated. The bill came out to about $240 before tip for 2 people before they removed the dessert. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back as I would rather drive to Weho or BH if I'm going to be paying the same price. read more

Came to Diosa for a date night with my girlfriend. Nice place and you are greeted immediately by their lovely hosts. We didn't wait long to be seated and they accommodated our request to be sat at a booth. It was pretty busy when we came. Our server Paulina came and greeted us and brought water and made suggestions what to order after she told us about the style of service And the type of food diosa offers. For starters we ordered their guacamole and chips and I ordered the ribeye parilla. My girlfriend ordered the enchiladas Del Mar. as for our drinks we ordered margarita flight, coco Chanel and tulum tulum. Food and drinks were great and we give that 4.5 stars. The one star unfortunately is for the owner. We witnessed her speak so rudely to her staff and as another business owner, I feel that you should treat your staff respectfully. Her actions just left a bad taste in our mouth and will not support a business who do not respect others. Especially if these people are helping you with your establishment. Came here a while back and had a horrible experience. I ordered enchiladas poblanas which come with steak, for some reason they decided to add shrimp instead. I took a bite or two when I noticed there was shrimp in my dish immediately we notified staff that there was shrimp in my dish and I was allergic. The manager Greg Aiken came to our table and told us they could not give customers any drugs as I needed allergy medicine asap he then proceeded to send someone to go buy the medication. My group of friends and I enjoyed the drinks and food, the place is pretty, but the service is so so bad. Our server barely came to us at for refills or picking up finished plates. At the end of our meal we circled the 5 items we wanted on one check to make things simple and our server told us verbatim "this is going to be a headache to do". I over heard the female owner of the restaurant speaking so condescending to 3 of her employees, and when you have a business to run and a team under you, you aren't a dictator, you do right by your employees and you treat and speak to them the way you want them to treat and speak to your restaurant guest. The restaurant is such a surprise because you would expect a valet parking classy restaurant between Chase Bank and CVS. Once you walk into the restaurant, it looks like a Beverly Hills restaurant. I can say I went in with no expectations and appreciated the take on this restaurants interpretation of signature dishes.
