I give this place 3 stars. The food and drinks are great as well as the atmosphere in the restaurant. The restaurant is very beautiful. However, the restrooms are disgusting. It smelled like a sewer in the ladies restroom and there was a pile of used toilet paper and toilet seat covers on the corner floor because the trash was overfilled. Additionally, the service is not the greatest from the 2 times I have been there. I went in March and the waitress made us feel rushed as she came up to our table asking if we were ready to pay the bill and if we needed boxes for our food when we clearly were still in the process of eating; our food and drinks weren't even half way done. Before that she came by many times asking if we needed anything else although we kept telling her everything is fine. We went on a Thursday around 5pm, it was not busy as half of the restaurant was empty, so not sure why the rush. If they had a busy night I can understand the rush but it was mostly empty. My second visit was on Mother's Day weekend (Saturday) and it took forever to get our food. I understand Mother's day weekend can get busy, but it took about 45 minutes to get our appetizers. Went with my wife to celebrate Valentine's Day and it was a great experience! There was a bit of a wait at the door but nothing serious and as with any other major holiday it was expected, but they planned ahead and had a nice wait area at their outdoor terrace! The hosts at the door were pleasant, as soon as our table was ready they paged us. The wait was well worth it! Linda was our server and she was great. My family and I went the day after opening day for my sisters birthday and we were really impressed with the decor. It was nice having a nice restaurant close to home. We started off with margaritas, guacamole and langostina taquitos. Everything had good taste, just wish the guac came with more chips for the price. We couldn't finish the guac and the waiter took it and we hate that it went to waste. The plate pictured was the Mar y Tierra which was 10/10. Filtet minon was cooked to perfection, scallops were delicious, and shrimp had a good flavor. The third layer is fried mash potato which was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed this dish. We also ordered the seafood Alfredo and the waiter hyped us up about a parmesan cheese roll show table side and we were very disappointed when they brought out our plate already made. Nonetheless, the dish was delicious and the seafood was phenomenal but we were excited for the show. Today I visited Diosa with friends on a whim. I had never heard of it before nor had it been recommended by anyone I know. I'm so glad that I'm open to new places!!!! When I first walked in, I was taken in by the beautiful decor. Everything was so elegant and upscale. Every employee I encountered was friendly and welcoming. When I got to my table, my friends had already ordered their cocktails. Two ordered the gorgeous Diosa & Co, which was the perfect Tiffany blue and came to the table in the cutest box and another order the margarita flight. I ordered the flight as well. The flavors were rose, guava lavender, pineapple Serrano, and strawberry basil. I loved them all, but if you are not a fan of spicy, ask if you can sub that one out. For appetizers we ordered the guacamole and queso fundido. Both were delicious. The guacamole is smoky and full of flavor. We ordered steak and eggs, chilaquiles, blue corn pancakes, and French toast. Everything was on point! We will be adding this spot to our list of regulars.
