Great donuts and friendly people! A nice spot to run in and grab a a donut in the morning. All kinds of food during the day too.

Dippity plays the donuts game like a veteran in the playoffs. Donuts ready upon arrival. The usual classics arranged neatly: chocolate, maple bars, pink, sprinkles, and glazed all sitting pretty. The staff makes haste and wastes no energy. As soon as I paid for my donut, I was united with my donut. No waiting period. No extra time taken to heat up the donut. This business approaches the donut slanging game with a business-like demeanor. It is pleasant to be in the presence of winners in the donut industry. I'll be back to this pleasant place of donut glory soon. Victors create their own ambience.

Stopped by for a couple of donuts because Sunday Funday is about stuffing yourself silly with highly addictive food. THE FOODS | Donuts, breakfast sandwiches, burritos, omelettes, and traditional breakfast (eggs, bacon/sausage, hash brown, toast, donut). There's also a lunch menu with sandwiches, burgers, fries, and hot dogs. We Sunday Funday'ed on... - Apple Fritter | Small bits of apples with sweet cinnamon syrup and glazed. Crunchy fritter edges are the best. Be prepared for either sharing or coming with an apple fritter appetite because these things are pretty big. Nicely done here! - Old Fashioned | A variation of an old fashioned donut in that they add icing and crumbling bits of cinnamon, all while maintaining traditional form. Get it if you're feeling like elevated is where you want to be. THE DIPPITY DONUTS FEELS | Old school donut shop vibes, complete with booth & bar stool seating while the smell of coffee and donuts lingers in the air. Faded milkshake posters adorn the walls. It feels old, but it's okay because you know they're busy throwing it down in the back with the donut making. Ah, my childhood days are rushing back. THE PARKING SITUATION | Free parking in front and nearby. No issues finding an open parking spot on a Sunday Funday morning. THE ORDERING LOGISTICS | Pick your donuts out from the display case and pay at that same spot. WOULD I COME BACK? | Yes. Their apple fritters alone are worth coming back.

Next to a 31 flavors ice cream store and Lupe's mexican eatery, Dippity Donuts is not my typical donut place just not great. Staff: Friendly and fast. 5 (for a donut place). The staff consists of two hard working asian ladies. Very mom and pop feel. Service: Fast 5. I was there at a bit before 12 for lunch and was lucky I did. At 12 they got rushed by the lunch crowd. The place is popular with the blue collar crowd and moms with kids. They do table service. Restroom for customers only. Value: 5. I felt like their best value is their breakfast and lunch deals. Their hamburgers are popular and so are the breakfast plates (eggs, bacon, etc). They are of the $4.99 range (about $5.40 with tax). Taste/Quality: Hash Browns were generic, bacon and eggs were okay, I liked the toast, and the one donut topped it all off. 3 Ambiance/Atmosphere: Generic donut place with case and coffee but unique seating - booths and counter chairs. Felt quiet. Color scheme of white and light reds. 4 Overall I felt like I had a good value and experience. Not the place you go the extra mile for great taste but price and value when your in the mood for Denny's or McDonald's that's not Denny's or McDonald's. The one donut I had was soft, light and sweet. Their cinnamon rolls looked better.

This place has the best breakfast burritos in town! 1/2 the price of the place next door and way better! Their donuts are good too!

Our go-to favorites are the chocolate cronut (dangerous), the glazed old fashioned, and their cake donuts -- the kind that remind you why donuts were invented in the first place. But here's what most people don't realize... The deli is a hidden gem. My wife's favorite is their American Mexi-Cal style breakfast burrito -- and for good reason. Huge, insanely good value, big crispy buttery potatoes, soft chewy tortillas, and a portion size that laughs at inflation. I recently had their Boar's Head deli-sliced ham and cheese on sourdough with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles, and I genuinely don't have the vocabulary to describe how soft and perfect that sandwich was. It's not "good for a donut shop." It's just really good. But honestly? The food is only part of why this place matters to us. Our kids practically grew up here. Dave and Dani have known our family since before our kids were even born. They've seen both of our children grow -- literally from in the womb, to infants, to toddlers, and now our kids are 2 and 7 years old. We'll be posting photos through the years because... yeah, this place is part of our family history. That's not something you can fake. This is one of those rare neighborhood spots where you sit for hours in the morning, coffee in hand, talking with locals, laughing, and catching up. It's where the community actually feels like a community. The owners, Dave and Dani, are some of the kindest, most genuine people you'll ever meet. Dave is basically a big kid himself (especially when it comes to cars) and somehow always finds ways to surprise my kids with random little toys -- the kind of moments kids remember forever. I grew up in a small town in Virginia, out of my own mom's deli and convenience store -- where locals gathered over coffee, the Washington Post (and yes... cigarettes back then ). Living on the West Coast without family nearby, Niguel Bakery & Donuts gives me that same feeling of home. This is a place where kids can still feel safe like the old days -- riding bikes with friends, scraping together change for a snack... and if they're a little short and have been on their best behavior, Dave and Dani might just take care of them anyway. That kind of generosity can't be taught -- it's who they are. It's an East Coast bodega-style bakery/deli, right here in Laguna Niguel, and they don't just talk about community -- they show it through the countless non-profit events, food donations, and local causes they support. If you're looking for more than just donuts -- if you want great food, real people, and a place that feels like home -- this is it. We'll be here tomorrow morning. And the next day. And probably for years to come.

Well, I didn't think I could give higher praise for this place, but enter the banana fritter. I'll start by saying I love key lime pie and the custard on the key lime donut is to die for. Give me a bucket of that and I'm done. I'm not even a banana fan, but one bite of this donut and my mind was blown. Deep fried goodness on top of caramel and banana sweetness makes your heart skip a beat. This is what all bear claws should aspire to be. This is the first time John, one of the owners wasn't there (but I get it, they opened a second location in Utah). Yet, the people who work here generally seem happy about life. I mean do they pay them in donuts?! There's talk about JD Flannel and Oliboli in Tustin duking it out for top spot, but the gap has only widened today for me. No disrespect to Oliboli because they're very good, but these donuts are on another level (cheaper/better value too). I only go here yearly, but I need to change that. This place is dangerous, but worth it.
