My husband and I stopped by today for a boba drink but the cashier let us know they had run out of boba, totally ok! We asked what drinks were available and I opted for a peach jelly drink that she mentioned and my husband got the matcha. My peach drink was SO GOOD that I ended up being happy they were out of boba LOL my husband really enjoyed his matcha too! This is the worst donut shop ever! They don't open till 7am. Don't make ham croissants during the week day and on the weekends they sell out of them by 9:30. Asked for chocolate milk, they said they were out but I could find some at Gelsons across the parking lot! They don't know the difference between a bear claw and an apple fritter! I stumbled upon this place on yelp and wanted to try out. I saw the photos on yelp that they had a banh mi charcuterie board and even spring rolls on their menu. Im not sure if it was just a limited time thing but when I visited the shop they didn't seem to know what I was talking about and I showed the photos on yelp and they didnt seem like they knew anything about it? Upon entering the store, I noticed the small window displaying the different donuts and I made my way around and saw the other glass display was just boxes. Had me wondering if something changed or owners changed? Or maybe it was just a limited item. I was really curious about the banh bi board and the spring rolls, not too much into donuts like that. I was a little disappointed not going to lie, but oh well what can you do. But we did pick up a glazed twist just bc we were already there and didnt want to leave empty handed. The donuts were okay, good for a quick pick me up. There are limited seating, maybe like 2 or 3 seats outside available for you to sit and enjoy a coffee and a donut. read more

We absolutely love this gem. We had them cater for our baby shower and they were so friendly and helpful over the phone and ensured everything was correct. These Donuts are INCREDIBLE. But you have to get here early if you want one of your favorites, they sell out quickly! I am disappointed with their recent closure, there's a sign on the door stating from March 11 or 12th through March 16th, they are closed to work on World Peace? While I support the cause, I don't think that is a proper or professional excuse/explanation for a business to close for an extended period of time...just tell the truth and say the baker needs a break, or whatever the story is. Also, if you're going to have an extended closure, you should update your phone message to reflect that information! read more

What a poorly run place. Every time I go in, they either have 1 or 0 plain cake donuts, which apparently is their most popular kind. IDK, make more? Even the employees are baffled by this. I walked in the store on 4/2 a little after 2pm. The guy behind the counter never said hi or addressed me or asked if I wanted anything. He just stood there and never acknowledged my existence. As I looked at the donuts in the display, down on bottom shelf of buttermilk donutes, I noticed fruit flies or nats flying around inside. A half a dozen of more bugs flying around the donuts. Then I noticed on the chocolate buttermilk donut a bunch of nats or flies crawling around on the donut. Very gross and disgusting. I walked out of the store. They guy never said a single word. I will never eat a donut from this store. read more

I told her that there are two ways to approach the kiosk, from the drink dispenser side (where it is barely notable because of the font color choice. The location is at South Coast Plaza with an outside entrance as well as an entrance through the mall. There's a restaurant area with seating inside and out, and a separate bar area with seating. We arrived too late for the happy hour (M-F 2-5pm), so we'll have to try it next time. We were seeing a show so didn't try any of the drinks, but the choices looked interesting and cool. Service was attentive - checking on us and filling water often. It's a great place to try if you're in the area.

The second drinks were okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the customer service was the biggest disappointment. My friend came back and asked for five paper plates. Since she is deaf, she was trying to communicate with the male employee by texting on her phone. Instead of being patient and understanding, he gave her an attitude and seemed upset with her. At one point, he yelled, "Just one paper plate!" We were very disappointed by the way she was treated, especially when she was simply trying to communicate. We hope the café can do better when it comes to treating all customers with kindness, patience, and respect. Because of this experience, we unfortunately won't be coming back.

It's a small shop with some counter seating and several tables outside the front door. They had around a dozen types on display. Sadly, they were out of old fashioned donuts (my favorite). But on the happy side of things, right when I walked in, they were putting out some brown butter donuts, fresh out of the fryer. I immediately pointed and asked for one of those. I also chose a maple raised and a maple bacon. The woman helping me was quite perky with a great smile. I'm certain the thought of why this guy was buying three huge donuts to eat all by himself never crossed her mind. I ate them throughout the afternoon...the warm brown butter one as soon as I got into the car. The cake of the donut was so soft and warm. If it were larger, I would have cuddled up next to it and taken a nap. The brown butter glaze was topped with a Maldon sea salt brittle. Sweet and salty. This was my favorite, probably because it was so darn fresh. The other two donuts had thick, soft cakes but not as soft as the fresh one. The maple donut was great. You could really tell they use quality maple syrup in the glaze. The maple bacon was similar with the addition of bacon on top. It was messy as some of the crumbled bacon fell off with each bite. They provide individual boxes for each donut so keep it under your chin to catch the crumbles! The bacon is seasoned with black pepper and cayenne. These are high-quality, delicious donuts. I think they're some of the best out there.
