Just wanted to update regarding the consistency of service that I received from this place. I sadly had yet another tire just pop unexplainably on its own. Worst feeling hearing that sound and seeing the tire pressure go to zero in seconds and knowing it cannot be fixed! It's a very expensive 19" Pirelli run flat tire and they gave me a good deal again (well "good" considering what it'll cost everywhere else) but not good that I had to waste several hundred dollars for the second time in a month for no fault of my own. I visited this shop months ago due to problems that I was having with my tire. I drive over 70 miles/day on 5 freeway so you can only imagine how worn out or damaged my tires can get. But luckily for me I get recommended to this place by my sister's boyfriend and I have been very happy with their service ever then. These guys are fast and efficient, they looked at the tire which I asked them to and found that that it hasn't been patched correctly because it was from outside. So they fixed it and patched it from inside instead. Turned out that my tie had 2 holes in it. Thanks guys for saving me from spending $250 on a new tire. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! Extremely small compact space, very uncomfortable. NEVER any parking because there are cars parked all over the small area that is dedicated to DIRECT TIRES. The place is the size of a small garage, everything is cramped. So let me tell you the initial situation. I called this place asking about a tire, the person on the phone (RAFI) said they had the size I needed and to come over and it would take 15-30 mins. Once I got there someone was blocking the driveway, no surprise because this place is TINY. Nonetheless, I got out of my car and went to the counter and was ignored for over 20 mins, RAFI walked by me 8 times and never gave acknowledged me. The other people working there never even gave me eye contact, once I demanded attention and mentioned what tire I needed. he looked at his supply and said he didn't have my size. Wasting almost an hour of my time. Tons of tire places around town, avoid this toilet. read more

What a great way to start off the new year!! THANKS DIRECT TIRES! ::sarcastic voice:: Sorry. As much as I would have loved to give this place more stars, I rated this place 1 star. First off, my fiance came here earlier today just to get his tires changed and get an alignment. I followed him to the shop because there was no way a new set of tires would fit in his fixed up s2k. Once we got there, of course all the guys there were wooing and eyeing his car and giving him compliments. Soooo a couple minutes later, some guy said that both alignment and change of tires would take roughly an hour and a half. While trying to kill time, we stopped by to get some food at The Habit, which is a couple blocks away. When we got back, they were still putting on the tires. My fiance was the one speaking with them while I waited in the car. 10-15 minutes passed by and I was still waiting in the car, so I decided to come out and see what was going on. Apparently, one of the workers damaged his front fender right above the tire. I know my fiance's car from top to bottom. No scratches and no dents. He got his car detailed the night before and there was nothing. They all DENIED it!!! There was no way in hell that happened right before we got to the shop!!! It was so obvious they all had a guilty conscience!!!! Right when my fiance pointed it out and asked what happened, everyone got all quiet (AWKWARD SILENCE)... split up and started doing their own thing.. ALL OF A SUDDEN! then... out of nowhere the guy had the AUDACITY to ask if we want to get an alignment?! saying he wasn't comfortable doing the alignment?!!! First of all, he already said he was going to do both by the time we get back. I guess they freaked out once they damaged the car that they lost track of time -____________________________- You figure people would be so empathetic, especially for guys, when it comes to cars. The people that worked there had no empathy and weren't even sorry. They didn't apologize or anything. They just denied it. So kindly, I asked for their company card. Of course I would write a yelp review. What happened was UNACCEPTABLE and very unprofessional. Being a small shop, the workers and the manager should have taken it upon themselves to AT LEAST apologize or given some kind of discount to compensate for our dissatisfaction of service. But we didn't get anything. Just lies!!! I'm just pissed and bothered by the way they acted. It literally looked like they didn't raise up the car high enough and yanked out the tire. Mind you, these are not regular tires, they're racing tires which are wider set. Own up to your carelessness and mistake. It just hurts how someone else can damage or scratch your car before you do. You know what I mean? We didn't go to this shop just to get a damaged fender, which by the way costs more than the tire installation. IT'S RIDICULOUS!!!! They probably just work great for their friends but not regular people. Stay away from this place! Don't waste your time and money! read more
