The windshield repair employee broke my armrest and I was completely dismissed. My armrest was broken inside of my car during it being transported for service. When mentioning this, I was argued down that "there is no way this could happen by my guys because they are experienced" repeatedly for 20 minutes before even attempting to simply ask them. I never even asked for any reimbursements. At no point did Alexander, the supervisor, make me feel like my concern/complaint was heard. It was only met with hostility and argumentative follow ups. What he lacks in conflict resolution, he certainly makes up for with effective victim blaming. How he is trusted in a position of management in the service industry is baffling. read more

We had a large window that just had one of the panes break randomly. I had gone to Discount glass in the past for some molding for these same windows, so I asked for an estimate. The price was pretty good, so I scheduled the replacement. They had to custom build it, so it would take a couple of weeks. I'm not sure what happened, but it seemed like the order didn't get put in until I called back to check on the status. That's the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. The installer was very friendly and did good work. He worked quickly and got the job done when it was scheduled. The only issue was that it was scheduled longer out than originally estimated. read more

The first time I went there I saw boot prints from someone's dirty boots on each door arm rest. The second time I went there I noticed the left fender had a scrape on the side from what looked like they drove it too close to tire. Small issue - but the lack of respect! ***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY*** First of all I will say that their prices are very good compared to the bigger auto glass dealers. I've used them 2 times. First time everything went smoothly. Rear passenger side window replacement. This time however was a horrible experience. I walked in for a windshield and the price was about $75 cheaper than other competitors in the area. So I dropped off the vehicle and paid in advance. I get a call at 4:26 pm letting me know that the vehicle was ready to go. I told them my wife was on her way to pick it up. Right away when she got there the so called installer starts lying saying that they called me to let me know that there was already a crack on my dash which is a complete lie. He did admit to "barely placing" his hand on dash over the middle speaker and poked a hole in it causing a crack as well which is the one he says was already there. I went in to discuss today with the owner. I explained to him that nobody called other than to tell me it was ready. I even double checked with my cell company. There were no calls made to me from there other than that one call at 4:26 pm. The owner was no better. I don't think he knows how business is suppose to work in this country yet. I told him that as a fellow business owner I know these things happen but that we must own up to them and he didn't like that too much. I even told him that I wouldn't be asking for a new part and that I would settle for an OEM part from the junkyard. He continued to deny liability. He never even brought the installer out to discuss. The installer was so careless that he even put my registration sticker back on upside down. I told him that if he didn't take care of it I'd see him in court and that seemed to anger him so he mumbled something and walked away angry. Will update once the court decides which I'm sure will be months from now. Do yourselves a favor, pay a little extra and go with a homegrown company that values its customers and values the business ethics we've worked so hard to establish. Where do I even begin? The best thing about Discount Glass was the first tech, Jonathan, they sent out to do measurements. He was courteous, professional and on time. It went downhill fast from there. Although the time range given for arrival for the tech to return to do the install was 4p-7p, Dwayne didn't show up till 5:45p. He gave me a "courtesy" call to let me know he would be that late due to "traffic". Traffic in Dallas is a regular everyday occurrence, so I'm not sure why this tech wasn't prepared to manage his time around it. Dwayne was working by himself, which I didn't understand as this was definitely a two man job. Definitely a red flag. A company that would send out one tech for a two man job obviously doesn't care about there customers if they don't care about their staff. He had to move slowly, like a turtle slow, which extended the job time. He sprayed an industrial strength spray paint to camouflage the gaps between the mirrors. He said it would be black, but when I looked at it, it was bronze! The odor filled up my entire house and I had to open all doors to air it out as I was scared my asthmatic little girl would be triggered. He also sprayed beyond the point of the mirrors, so I have to go back in and touch up paint the wall & ceiling along with the finger stains he left all over the other walls. He also cut into my sheetrock without asking me first in order to get the mirror "to fit snug". He ran out of caulk which left the seam along the sides of the wall of mirrors undone. He left the room completely dirty with sheetrock everywhere and the mirrors completely cloudy! After cutting all of these corners, Dwayne didn't leave my house till 9p. When I called the next morning to offer my experience to management, the manager was even more unprofessional than Dwayne with his overly emotional responses. Frank, the manager, offered to come out and finish the job himself and then wouldn't make any schedule accommodations for the next two calendar weeks! Absolute nightmare. Will never ever use them again. read more

I was referred to discount-glass for a residential window repair. My order was taken by the Owner , Oscar Fazli. He took all the information. He Had a man come by to measure the glass and I made the Pre-Payment in full. This was Saturday. Oscar said the glass would be in by Thursday. Of course "Thursday" came and went. The following Monday I stopped in to ask about the order. Oscar had the clerk call the glass Mfg Company and they said they never got the order. I was surprised and asked what happened. He said "computer break"! I felt this was a kneejerk excuse and asked him just what "Computer Break" means. He started getting very angry at me and i asked if he had followed up on the order. At this point he became combative and began cursing me in Farsi (Iranian) . I reminded him that I am the customer and I did nothing wrong but he got even more mad. It was so over the top I was embarrassed. His clerk ushered him to the back room and the general Mgr came up and apologized for him. Said it is his way. They offered to replace the order and it was estimated to take another week. I asked for some consideration and the owner loudly said 10.00 discount is all! It was so blatantly bad that the employees kept apologizing for the owner,Oscar Fazli being such a nasty man. I could not see doing business with such a mean spirited business man. Our contractor ordered a glass shower door from Discount Glass. After Discount Glass installed the shower door, some scratches were found in the door. Neeman Fazil, Vice President, personally came over and inspected the door. At my convenience he came back and buffed the glass door and it looks brand new. Mr. Fazil was very courteous and professional. So much so, that we ordered a window for our den and the installers came 3 days later and had it installed in 15 minutes. The window looks great.
