This place regularly provides decent service, however, they severely under delivered on customer service this time. Came into the store a couple days ago due to a TPMS light. Turns out my tire needed a nail repair. They were busy, and asked me to make an appointment later in the week. I arrive at the appointment time, and they tell me it's a 90 minute wait. They justify it saying it would be a three hour wait without an appointment. Are you joking? That would be like making a dinner reservation for 7:30pm, and showing up to find out they can seat you at 9:00pm. Not a restaurant I would frequent. I have been to this Discount Tire about 2-3 times and each time I honestly leave thinking, this is what customer service should be. They are easy to work with, attentive, quick and extremely fair. It seems like their customer service approach is that they treat you really well so that you think of them first when you have a new tire/wheel need. I own a Tesla and am so pleased to know that the Bellevue Discount Tire carries my tires! No one else does. They are knowledgeable, fast, efficient and a better price than my dealer. So it's kind've interesting I changed tires for my gf's car and my car in a span of 5 days at this Discount Tire. Anyway of the locations I've been to (Bellevue, Redmond, Spokane) Discount Tire is awesome. I've always received great service. For pricing Discount Tire easily beats Costco, Good Year, Tire Rack, etc. (i've done the research). Not to mention if you qualify for the 10% discount (Boeing, Student, etc.) that's always nice savings. Also unlike Costco (which I find to be the second cheapest tire replacement shop), Discount Tire has a lot more variety of tire sizes and manufacturers that they offer. Tires are your life, you probably shouldn't limit your options on them, but of course it never hurts to save some money. The only questionable experience i've had at Discount Tire is the first time I took my gf's car there to check on a leak, we came back an hour later and they just swapped on a loaner tire because they said the alignment was off and caused the tire in the front to be worn down completely...that was questionable. The alignment was actually off though, and seeing that the man who helped us that day wouldn't see commission from when we actually did buy our tires, we figure he was being honest. When it comes to getting your tires done, all three times i've gotten tire replacements at Discount Tire, i've been in and out in under an hour. However, if you're coming there for free rotation, repair, and/or during peak hours (right after 5 pm)..you might be in for a wait. So early mornings, or during work hours I found are the best. Just the other day I got a set of four Good Year Eagle ResponseEdge tires for my RSX Type-S. Total time walking in the door, and driving off in my car w/a set of brand new tires...50 minutes (and there were two people in line ahead of me). I paid $650 for tires installed, with warranty. Good Year down the street was quoting me at $800 for the same exact tires and not even with the same warranty. Costco doesn't even carry Good Year and their tires available in my size were extremely limited and received bad ratings. Discount Tire all the way. Will definitely get my tires from there again. Great place to go for tires!! The have a HUGE selection and stock. Their building looks small, but it's actually 3 floors. Excellent, fast customer service. They close at 6pm, and I went in at 5:30pm (due to my job), and they took me in and changed 4 tires and had me out in 15 minutes. This is definitely my go to place for my car. I got a flat tire and my husband and I took our car here. We decided to get some new wheels as well as tires. Even though they were pretty busy since it was Saturday, the guy who helped us spent time helping us look through styles and looked through the specs to make sure that what we picked out were fitting for our car. We ordered our new wheels and it was on our car in 3 days. They recommended that we come back to torque the new lug nuts after a week or so which we did, and they did that for us in 15 minutes! This place is like a Nordstrom for tires, if I ever have any problems with my tires, this is where I would go for sure! read more

Michael G., the Bellevue store's Assistant Manager personally assisted me with every aspect of my tire purchase and mounting of brand new tires onto brand new wheels that I brought with me, all for my 2016 Audi RS7. I specifically came to Michael G. in Bellevue, Wa as he was highly referred from the Federal Way Store, as Mike and the Bellevue store are more tailored to high end cars with their TOUCH-LESS TIRE MOUNTING MACHINE. Federal Way Store said they could not assure no scratching so I should go see their specialist up in Bellevue. To say I was a tad particular about how everything should go is an under statement but Michael G. exhibited perfect patience. He was a MASTER with my entire install starting with the analysis of the tires, to calling ahead to Federal Way Store telling them to give me a box of black balancing weights to bring with me up to Bellevue, then his personal care and oversight not to scratch my new wheels as he put on the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, then to the installing of the TPMS sensors in each new wheel that he had to remove from the old wheels but he also added new stems to my TPMS sensors... (thx Mike), and he also applied a new stem in the old wheels and tires, and pumped them back up as well. Are you getting the BIG PICTURE, the guy is awesome, the tires are incredible with not one scratch, all making my RS7 a work of art. I had a nail in my tire. The dealership wanted to charge me $1,500 for four new tires. In a rush to get this fixed, I took the car to Discount Tire in Bellevue and amazingly they repaired the tire in 20 minutes and at no charge. Today I am frustrated at having to wait 15 min to check in for an appt made earlier in the week to install a special order set that cost $1100. Try avoid this. They only wanted to sell you more tires. My BMW tire had a nail at the bottom. They said that it's not fixable and replacing it costs $270 for 1 tire. I didn't want to do it, as i feel the sales agent was over-asking. I asked them whether they could fill up air for my tire as the pressure is low, but they refused and said that it will compromise the quality and security. I then went to Les-Schwab next door and they checked and said it's repariable. Cost me nothing for it at Les-Schwab. I will choose Les-Schwab in the future. read more

Mistakes happen so how a company responds to a mistake tells you a lot. One of my new (2 hours old) tires lost air and by the time I got off the freeway it was toast. When i went back to Discount Tire the staff had my car pulled inside within 2 minutes. The said unfortunately they didn't have any more tires of that size. They said I could wait while they sent someone to another store or come back the next day. Without me prompting they said they would refund the $70 labor charge for all 4 tires. I decided to come back so they put a loaner tire on so I wouldn't have to drive around with the small emergency tire. The next day they promptly swapped tires and apologized again. I spent more time on this project than I planned but my overall treatment made me feel good about the purchase and that this was a good shop and I would come back next time I needed tires. read more

If you're here to get your tires pumped for free, expect a very long wait. My girlfriend and I were waiting for 20 minutes and nothing. I even walked over to the garage 10 mins in and asked them if someone could help us out. They just said they would be there in a second. Still nothing. What was ironic was that they weren't even busy on this particular day just 1 or 2 cars they were working on. They had at least 4 employees in the garage, all of them saw the car waiting to be pumped, and completely ignored us, and the two other cars in line behind us. At the 20 minute mark, we were fed up, so we honked the horn. They just cranked up their shitty music and continued to ignore us. Ridiculous... We'll just be going to a different one next time. read more

All of the people here, especially the service technicians, are super friendly and helpful. They also do free check ups when you've gotten tires from them. I've had to go in 3 times in the last month, and each time they've been fast and very patient with all of my questions about the car. I would even suggest bringing a cash tip when you can for the guys working on your car-they work hard in the freezing cold all day and make our cars safe! Thought I update my review of Discount Tire, now that I have new tires for my rust bucket. First tip, don't even bother to look at price shopping online at the popular tire-supplier. By the time that the tires are shipped, install fees, environmental fees and etc are all added up, Discount Tire is still more affordable. Given that they didn't have the tire I wanted in stock - they had to place a special order for my tire (I'm a picky when it comes to car parts) and said it would be a week to get the tire. A week is fine for me to wait, but was surprising was a phone call the next day stating that my tires have arrived. Yay! Drop my car off on the following day - and a couple of hours later, stopped by to picked it up with new tires installed, and no tire errors or anomalous errors found on the car. I'm very happy with continuing my business relationship with this particular Discount Tire, as they have the parts I want for my car, along with efficient, and friendly customer service. :-) read more

Great customer service, well run establishment. Prices are excellent, service is fast (30 min for tire install) and free wi-fi and coffee while you wait. There was also a TV and magazines. I got some Falken tires for $14 less per tire than online pricing. The customer service agent was not pushy at all, I felt in charge, instead of someone trying to upsell me into crap I didn't need. I dropped by on my way to work because my tire light came on and my tire had visibly low pressure (it was a new car with only 1500 miles on it). I just walked in and within 2 minutes someone at the counter was able to help me out. They took my car in to check out the tire, figured that they could just patch the tire (rather than having to give me a whole new set) , and fixed it without charging anything. I will never do business at this location again. The "manager" is a rude jerk. I work hard for my money and I'll spend it at Les Schwab. I made an appointment for 430, the guy on the phone said 15-20 minutes for a tire rotation. He said to make sure I showed up at 430, a minute late and he would have to give my spot to someone else. I left work early, bust ass to the location. 20 minutes later my car is still sitting in the lot. I asked when my car would be worked on, you know since it was so imperative that I show up right at 430. The guy is flat out rude. Calls me a liar claiming nobody would ever just quote 20 minutes for a simple rotation and I could expect a 1-2 hour wait. I tell him just grab my keys and I'll head over to les schwab to which responds rudely and loudly that my car was next and he said he would just push mine ahead of others. The rest of the waiting room glared at me because he said he make them wait. Screw this place. I'd rather spend a bit more for tires and be treated with respect. read more

Hit a large pot hole with my truck. Had it towed in to this location. Right rear tire was completely flat. I knew I was going to need new tires at minimum and possibly wheel repair/replacement. I opted for four nice new tires due the tread life left on the remaining non damaged tires. Well they mounted 3 new tires and told me the main wheel at question would need replacement(right rear). I bought a new wheel from the dealer and brought it back to them for installation. No big deal, all was well. The next week my tire pressure light came on. I removed the right front wheel as it was now completely flat. I checked for any screws in my tire, all was clean. Under further inspection I found that the rim was cracked on the inside lip. This is not there fault but mine for hitting the pot hole. However, They made no mention of it at all, and when I called and asked they totally blew me off. I also noticed that they didn't even remove the old wheel weights, they installed new tires and just added more weights. I've been using the location for over 10 years and have had impeccable service with a smile. What a massive disappointment. I will never go back to discount tire. In addition, I made a damaged claim with the city for the damage to 1 wheel and 1 tire when I in fact have 2 damaged wheels and a damaged tire. So I'm eating the cost of the second wheel. read more

Big box store and reg tire place couldn't fit me in for 3 days. Got a last min appointment right away and even fit me in 30 min early for a leaking tire despite the 6 other cars they were working on. They were able to plug/patch/balance my punctured tire and check other tires in 25 min. They brought me my car and shook my hand and said "thanks for coming in". No charge!!! Purchased 4 new tires and had them installed by Discount Tire in Bellevue. Customer service was exceptional and communication was top notch. My aftermarket wheels were not designed for TPMS sensors and they took the time to make sure that I could still have the sensors installed in a safe manner. It did take them some extra time to do the install, but they did the job right, and kept me informed along the way. There are Discount Tire stores closer to my home, but I'll be coming to this location from now on. read more

I have always come here to replace my tires. 1st time: Got them to price match (yes, they do that) a set of 4 tires and got them mounted on my new wheels. No problems. 2nd time: Had them replace my old tires with new tires that I had purchased elsewhere. No problems. Both times the staff were courteous and I got my wheels back sooner than estimated. However, the prices for mounting and dismounting are a bit more expensive than other shops I checked, but seeing the less than average review of those places, I would say it is money well spent. read more

Prices are fair, and the front desk staff are nice, but the techs are careless with the cars. When I was waiting for my car, I saw them reverse like a bat out of hell from the parking space. While pulling it into the racks, I could see them drive it up there very fast and carelessly (which would be alright for an SUV, but not a low car). I get they want to make money and get as many cars in/out as fast as possible, but they REALLY need to work on the way they handle customer cars. read more
