Obviously customer service is not important here . Because I didn't hear any apologies for their mistake . I take time out of my day to get tires out in my vehicle at a place that it's supposedly trustworthy and when I picked up my vehicle the wrong tires were put on . I had to come back the next day , Again taking time out of my busy day to get the problem fix , and turns out they overcharged me for a the pair of tires they put on . Their solution to making it right is a "refund" for the $30 difference they over charged ... will not go there again ever ! read more

Appointments mean nothing. I thought I would save time by bringing in my tire for repair (already off of the vehicle) (and making an appointment). It still took 1:25 minutes (with an appointment). A simple plug and rebalance on one tire doesn't take longer than 15 minutes. They either forgot about me or they are taking too many appointments concurrently. Either way, that's bad. read more

Who doesn't love this place?! I got a flat in my company pickup and the tires are dealer original. I didn't purchase the tires there but they plugged it for free for me anyway, within an hour! By happenstance our other company pickup also had a slow leak the same day and they also took care of it free of charge no questions asked. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE Made an appointment just to have my tires switched to a new set I already owned. Dropped it off early in the day to get a phone call an hour before closing to be told they over drilled my lug nut and I would have to pickup my vehicle to be fixed at a mechanic shop since they couldn't get the tire off. I called a mobile mechanic that got there within the hour to take the tire off. It took the mechanic less then 30 seconds as he just had to push the drill bit onto the lug nut but of course i still had to pay the mechanic his $250 service fee. Discount tire just held the drill onto the end of the nut and spun until it circled out the end of the nut causing me to have to pay a mobile mechanic and then i had to find a new lug nut at a local auto parts store. Then they couldn't get my car back into the shop so i had to leave it there over night with the next day being the day before Christmas Eve and i had a plane to catch. Parked my car at the airport just got back to a flat tire. called Discount Tire to see what happened and now i need help im stuck at the airport and they told me to call road service. Ive been on hold with corporate for over an hour while i'm waiting for help to get home. Nightmare. I have been a loyal customer for years and this is how they treat people. read more

I had a screw in my tire and brought it to Discount Tire for a 2nd opinion. I was told by Tires Plus on Rangeline Rd that it could not be repaired. I'm glad I took it to this location. Nevertheless, I had a nail in my tire and they fixed it. I came back a few hours later and there was a line out the door. Went to discount tire in Westfield, IN because my tire pressure light kept coming on. I made an appointment to see what was going on. They took my keys and I waited for about 30 minutes. The guy came over to me with my keys and said that I needed 4 new tires and all of my tire sensors were bad. They never took my car into the garage area to inspect the tires. I'm really not even sure they looked at the car at all. He said that he could price all of that out for me. I knew this couldn't be right, so I declined his offer. I then took my car to Belle tires in Westfield - they inspected all 4 tires and found a nail in the left front tire. They fixed it free of charge and told me I should probably think about new tires sometime after winter. Discount Tire LIED to me and I believe thought they could scam me because I'm a woman. I will never go back there and would not recommend them to anyone. If you go to discount tire - especially a woman, buyer beware. read more

My wife and 96 yo grandma were coming home and needed some air in their tire. A friendly associate was going to help and the manager told the individual he would fire him if it put air in the tire. Came here for a flat repair made the appointment online for when they opened they said they'd call when it was done. I waited all day and called them because they were about to close they said it was ready.... not even a week later the same tire was flat!!! AAA said my tires had dry rot and no sign of repair I called discount tire letting them know I will be returning and am going to need new tires the man on the phone said they would replace the one for no charge I agreed. When I got there they wanted me to pay for the tire they did not repair!! Wtf!!!! After going back and forth with the sales person he finally comped the tire but I don't plan to return here. Also while I was waiting to be helped someone came to pick up their car and they lost her keys!!!! I sat in the lobby for a bit waiting for my cracked rim to be replaced and I could not help but notice the quality of service he provided to every single customer who came in. While they may be convenient, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The wait while dropping off was expected, but when I returned to pick up, I was flatly ignored for about 20 mins. I've used them for the last several years when I have tire needs, and I've never been disappointed. When I ask them what makes one tire more expensive than others, they patiently explain it in a way that even I can understand. On top of that, if I tell them I need to have something done as cheaply as possible, they always go out of their way to make that happen. Got there this morning before they opened up and people were already being checked in. Waited in my car for 1 hour 30 minutes after checking in. Had to leave to get to work on time. OK tire place in rural Westfield.... I had bought a used car which had really loud and winter-unready "racing" tires and was really eager to get rid of them. Don't let the "discount" name fool you. The guys here and the products/services they offer are fantastic. Not only are they super affordable but they offer so many extra things that you wouldn't get at most places. Free rotations. Free balancing. Can't beat it. Not only that, but when they're working on your vehicle, someone will come shake your hand and talk to you about the status of your vehicle and the ins and outs of the service. This place was an utter scam. I had a few tires replaced, and one went flat in the first week. When I attempted to put on a spare a few lug nuts were stripped. After finally getting it there for a repair they wanted another $80 to fix the tire and lug nuts. It was not a good experience to say the least and would suggest steering clear of this place unless they give you a flat then you have no choice. read more
