Subpar customer service for Sales. Came here to get my tire checked out as 1 of my tires was losing air way faster than other tires. The associate started to check me in, then picked up a phone call that was ringing for a while. He asked if he could pick up the call and I accepted. Then he was on the phone for over 5 minutes while I stood there, rather than him putting the call on hold and finishing my transaction before moving on to the next one. In this time, I went and sat down. After the call, the associate moved on to take the next customer. I went to him to ask if he checked me in yet. And he said yeah you are all checked in. Well, thanks for not letting me know that you had checked me in before moving onto the next customer after finishing the call. I am ready to buy all 4 new tires but I guess this locations takes getting business for granted. Customer service provided by the Service staff however, was fantastic. The Service staff spent adequate amount of time after servicing my tire to walk me through their observations and potential next steps. I appreciated the Service personnel. read more

Update to the 11/16/2023 review. Mike, from the store, contacted me to discuss my experience. He immediately promised to make things right. He ordered the replacement wheels, which were installed today. While I would have preferred to have this handled on my first contact, I'm pleased that they cared enough to call me. Second time coming to this location, first I had a flat tire and barely rolled in. This time I got new tires. The customer service is great, everyone's super nice and they come and update you about every 15-20 min which I think is so nice! While I was waiting I found out this location is currently appointment only--meaning Had I rolled in with barley a tire left as I did with my first experience here hey may not have been able to help me day of. I heard they were short staffed and just overwhelmed due to the walkins--THIS IS NOT Permanent they said but wanted to share so others can call ahead before coming here for quick help. Totally not their fault and they're super speedy and friendly. I had called and set up an appointment for my tire installation and seemed like they had appointments next day so if you needed a tire fix I'd just call and you'd probably get in at their first available appointment. Once they get more staff I'm assuming they'll go back to taking walk-ins. But the store is very nice and clean--seating is all social distanced which is nice. Just wanted to share this tidbit since I've seen like 3 people come in for tire help and the staff doing their best to accommodate even tho they just started appointments only. A tire store that is constantly swamped with business, pretty good indication they are doing something right. I was able to order the #1 tire from Consumer Reports' reviews in Nov 2018 into the store and they arrived the next day. I was contacted to set up an appointment, and got in and out in about an hour. We needed a spare tire for our boat. This store was the only one in the area that had what we needed. My husband spoke with the Noblesville store and they coordinated the sale at Carmel, even told them we were on our way. I got to the store with my 3 going kids and pay for it. Then Danny proceeds to tell me that it's gonna be a hr. An hr to mount 1 wheel on 1 tire. Ended up just telling him to load it in my car and my husband will handle it. Pretty ridiculous. read more

Obviously customer service is not important here . Because I didn't hear any apologies for their mistake . I take time out of my day to get tires out in my vehicle at a place that it's supposedly trustworthy and when I picked up my vehicle the wrong tires were put on . I had to come back the next day , Again taking time out of my busy day to get the problem fix , and turns out they overcharged me for a the pair of tires they put on . Their solution to making it right is a "refund" for the $30 difference they over charged ... will not go there again ever ! read more

Who doesn't love this place?! I got a flat in my company pickup and the tires are dealer original. I didn't purchase the tires there but they plugged it for free for me anyway, within an hour! By happenstance our other company pickup also had a slow leak the same day and they also took care of it free of charge no questions asked. Appointments mean nothing. I thought I would save time by bringing in my tire for repair (already off of the vehicle) (and making an appointment). It still took 1:25 minutes (with an appointment). A simple plug and rebalance on one tire doesn't take longer than 15 minutes. They either forgot about me or they are taking too many appointments concurrently. Either way, that's bad. read more

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE Made an appointment just to have my tires switched to a new set I already owned. Dropped it off early in the day to get a phone call an hour before closing to be told they over drilled my lug nut and I would have to pickup my vehicle to be fixed at a mechanic shop since they couldn't get the tire off. I called a mobile mechanic that got there within the hour to take the tire off. It took the mechanic less then 30 seconds as he just had to push the drill bit onto the lug nut but of course i still had to pay the mechanic his $250 service fee. Discount tire just held the drill onto the end of the nut and spun until it circled out the end of the nut causing me to have to pay a mobile mechanic and then i had to find a new lug nut at a local auto parts store. Then they couldn't get my car back into the shop so i had to leave it there over night with the next day being the day before Christmas Eve and i had a plane to catch. Parked my car at the airport just got back to a flat tire. called Discount Tire to see what happened and now i need help im stuck at the airport and they told me to call road service. Ive been on hold with corporate for over an hour while i'm waiting for help to get home. Nightmare. I have been a loyal customer for years and this is how they treat people. read more

I had a screw in my tire and brought it to Discount Tire for a 2nd opinion. I was told by Tires Plus on Rangeline Rd that it could not be repaired. I'm glad I took it to this location. 5 stars for his location!! First, they are very busy so making an appointment ahead of time if possible, I would definitely recommend. Also, plan to leave your car or sit for awhile. Nevertheless, I had a nail in my tire and they fixed it. I came back a few hours later and there was a line out the door. My service guy recognized me, brought me my paper work and delighted me by telling me no charge to patch the hole! I didn't even buy my tires here! He just said when you need tires come back and see him! And that I will!!! This was such a nice surprise compared to the constant disappointment I have had with the service industry in general. My family is ready to go, I find a screw in the tire, I was going to pull it out to see if it punctured the tire, it hissed, I immediately called, and Sean got me in, we gathered a solution to put the camper spare on and go home, they'd call me when the other tire was done, we got on the road. I have laterally spent $1000's a year with discount tire. But it all ends today with them. This store has the absolute worst customer service. My wife and 96 yo grandma were coming home and needed some air in their tire. A friendly associate was going to help and the manager told the individual he would fire him if it put air in the tire. Then said they would have to wait two hours before someone could look at it. They just needed a little air to get it home 2 blocks away. Went to discount tire in Westfield, IN because my tire pressure light kept coming on. I made an appointment to see what was going on. They took my keys and I waited for about 30 minutes. The guy came over to me with my keys and said that I needed 4 new tires and all of my tire sensors were bad. They never took my car into the garage area to inspect the tires. I'm really not even sure they looked at the car at all. He said that he could price all of that out for me. I knew this couldn't be right, so I declined his offer. I then took my car to Belle tires in Westfield - they inspected all 4 tires and found a nail in the left front tire. They fixed it free of charge and told me I should probably think about new tires sometime after winter. Discount Tire LIED to me and I believe thought they could scam me because I'm a woman. I will never go back there and would not recommend them to anyone. If you go to discount tire - especially a woman, buyer beware. read more

Came here for a flat repair made the appointment online for when they opened they said they'd call when it was done. I waited all day and called them because they were about to close they said it was ready.... not even a week later the same tire was flat!!! AAA said my tires had dry rot and no sign of repair I called discount tire letting them know I will be returning and am going to need new tires the man on the phone said they would replace the one for no charge I agreed. When I got there they wanted me to pay for the tire they did not repair!! Wtf!!!! After going back and forth with the sales person he finally comped the tire but I don't plan to return here. Also while I was waiting to be helped someone came to pick up their car and they lost her keys!!!! When it comes to anything even remotely car related....engines, tires, mufflers, whatever, I'm totally inept. I'm not even CLOSE to being ept. (Major kudos to anyone who gets that reference!!) Therefore, I'm always ill at ease when entering some kind of repair shop. The folks at Discount Tire seem to be accustomed to dealing with folks like myself. I've used them for the last several years when I have tire needs, and I've never been disappointed. When I ask them what makes one tire more expensive than others, they patiently explain it in a way that even I can understand. On top of that, if I tell them I need to have something done as cheaply as possible, they always go out of their way to make that happen. OK tire place in rural Westfield.... I had bought a used car which had really loud and winter-unready "racing" tires and was really eager to get rid of them. This location fixed me up with a much more cruiser-friendly set of tires that were quieter and much better in snow. Service was good, as was the waiting area. read more
