I discovered NW Frame 10yrs ago, when a rattle developed in my Acadia front end. Dreading a strut and/or tie rod was broken, I delivered my car and when they (Kevin) called and let me know it was $30 bushing... I trust this shop. Fast forward 10yrs and I have had several opportunities to employ this family business to care for 7 cars along the way, as my three kids all progressed through vehicles we have bought/sold. Today my tires from Tire Rack were delivered at 3:30-4pm and Aaron mounted them on spare wheel set I dropped off earlier and then my car with a call at 5:15 on my way home... I noted the request for review on the counter as "Mom" rang up my bill to mount/balance my new tires. Thus the review... and reminder that a business like this is a valuable part of our community. I needed to have an issue with my alignment checked out and my trusty mechanic recommended Northwest Frame. I gave them a call and Aaron was very helpful just explaining how he runs his appointments and business. I got my car on the books and drop off was simple. A consultation appointment is $70. Aaron will call you the day of your appointment after looking at the vehicle and share the options of how to proceed. After looking at my car, Aaron called me and explained all the options and his opinion on how successful each option would be. He told me the risk of not fixing it as well. For my case, Aaron recommended not doing anything and just making sure I get my tires rotated and aligned every other oil change. I greatly appreciate the time Aaron took to explain everything to me and his honesty. He runs his business in a very experienced and honest manner. At the end of the day, I had the reassurance that my car is safe and if I ever have a problem, I'm definitely returning to Northwest Frame and Alignment! read more

I was looking for a place to put on new tires and this shop was one of the recommendations. I like the fact that it is locally and family owned, but what is more important - they did amazing job. From the moment I called Aaron to schedule my appointment to the moment when I picked up my car back - very smooth and easy experience. Aaron answered all my questions about tires and installed everything in less than 30 mins. Very quick and professional. It's not the lowest priced tire installation, but having peace of mind is worth it (and the difference is like 5%). I'd definitely come back again and recommend this place. I hadn't used Northwest's services in a while (no need). Had taken our BMW X3 to other shops to diagnose and repair a noise emanating from the rear of the SUV. One shop "guessed" it was a bad differential or transfer case which cost several thousands to repair/replace. Aaron diagnosed the problem to be a faulty rear wheel bearing. Picked up the X3 today and the noise is gone at a fraction of the cost of a differential or transfer case. Fast, friendly, competent service for sure; and, the lady at the desk is a treat! I will never take my car anywhere else for repairs. The staff here is very kind and patient when explaining the problem with your vehicle. I was told by other shops that I had frame damage and that it would cost me thousands of dollars to fix. That was not the case at all. If you have a BMW, you probably know how difficult it is to get an alignment in Indy. Chain stores and mom & pop garages don't have the tech or procedure to properly align BMWs (I used to work in a tire & alignment shop, I know how difficult they are). But Northwest does it right, down to the smallest details. In Indy, your only real options are the stealership and Northwest, which is usually half as much, and higher quality. They even made a new key for me for a fraction of what Dreyer & Reinbold wanted to charge. This is also the headquarters for Zionsville Auto Sports, a nationally known BMW performance parts supplier. They know their stuff. I know they do more than BMWs, but that's their specialty, and I'd recommend it to anyone driving a Bavarian Motor Werks vehicle. read more

Aaron is a master at alignment. My SRT8 and Mazda 3 were almost un-drivable due to undiagnosed bad alignments done by supposedly reputable auto service businesses. I thought there was a terminal problem with both my cars and was afraid I would have to sell them. Aaron and Northwest Frame & Alignment did an amazing job and I'm in love with my cars again. Just because someone has a "State of the art" alignment machine, does not mean that they know how it use it. This shop is outstanding. I cannot say enough good things about them. I've been doing business with this family run shop for over 35 years. Besides the pleasant personalities and wonderful people working here they really know what they're doing. As I was told so long ago they work on your car as if they owned it themselves. You can't ask for a more conscientious work ethic. If they call me on the phone and tell me my car needs additional parts or work I've grown to trust them so much I will always tell them to go ahead and do what they think is best. I have referred many friends to them over the years and have always gotten glowing feedback from everyone. As one close friend once told me "I had no idea that a precision alignment could change how my car felt so much and rode so much smoother than I could've imagined." It's rather difficult to find such trustworthy and competent workmanship anywhere. I read in another review about how good they are with BMW cars. They do have a special relationship with that brand and are able to perform alignments on many of the older models that really had no alignment adjustments built into them. So if your car is in need of any of the kinds of work that Northwest Frame performs you can be sure that the work will be performed well and for very reasonable money. I have always considered their work to be a bargain when considering the big picture. For me they are always my first choice shop! read more
