I have had many services here including tires, electrical work, brakes batteries, and other things I can't remember. They always gave me a fair price and didn't over quote me for things I didn't need. They will also fill up your tires for free, which I feel like I need more often with the round-abouts. read more

I cannot say enough about the service we received from Tire Discounters. When my father in law passed away, my wife wanted to buy his car and bring it back down to South Carolina. It had been sitting in their driveway for months. Before we drove it 10 hours back home, we wanted to get it serviced. They got us right in and gave the vehicle a thorough inspection. When I picked it up just a few hours later, he said "it's in great shape and you should feel comfortable driving it all the way back home." This is the greatest tire shop in Westfield. Recently I had an issue with a vibration in my steering wheel. The professionals at Tire Discounters were able to quickly determine that the vibration was not due to an alignment problem, but was being generated by a road force issue with the left front tire. They corrected the issue at no charge. Their expertise saved me the cost of an alignment. Whenever I need help with my cars I always come here first. Came here to fix a tire pressure issue, wasn't sure of the cause. Service was excellent!! I was so impressed- anything dealing with my car always stresses me out, and the staff here was extremely kind and not pushy or aggressive at all. I called to see if I needed an appointment and they happily told me that if I was able to get there in the next 20 minutes they could probably get me out in under an hour. Checkin in with Dylan and said he would give me a call when they were done if I decided to leave their building (which was surprisingly clean and up to date on the inside). Decided to walk around and got a call in about 35 minutes, as promised. Take note Manager: I arrived one hour before closing just now (5pm) with a very simple flat repair. I was rejected and told I could not get it fixed today when there were six or eight people standing in the garage, looking at me through the glass, laughing and joking and not working. I will never go there again. I had plans to put new rims and tires on my Camaro ($4000) in the spring, but I will be going to a better tire store that cares about their customers. I cannot say enough amazing things about this place, and the AMAZING staff of guys they have there!!! I coasted (literally) in with my Jeep Wrangler, as my brakes were completely buckling and failing. Luckily they were right around the corner from my house, and they got me in immediately! Going through a divorce, where my Ex husband did all the maintenance on my Jeep (brakes, oil, suspension, etc...) and I know absolutely nothing about vehicles! Worried, because as a female you hear horror stories about being taken advantage of if you don't know everything about cars. They were so kind, sat down and explained everything to me in detail, and NEVER ONCE did I feel like they were "Mansplaining" to me! Answered every question I had, without ever making me feel like I was some "dumb chick" who knows nothing about cars! I had called around and gotten a few "over the phone" estimates, and I will tell you, this AMAZING CREW hooked this girl up!!! Took care of, and paid for an Uber for me to take me home and pick me back up while they worked on my Jeep, kept in contact with me the entire time, and even with only one technician working that day, managed to get a TON of work done on my Jeep all in a few hours! Biggest bonus is that from the "phone estimates" I got, they ended up saving me close to $1,500.00 even on the low end of estimates! If you are a female, who worries about being taken advantage of, THIS is YOUR PLACE!!! But honestly I would recommend them to everyone I know! I had a slow leak in a tire went to a car dealer and ask them to put air in it. Dealer said tire was not repairable and told me I needed to buy 4 tires. $1300.00 I told them to put air in tire and drove vehicle to Tire Discounters. Joel looked at tire and said it was repair able. 30 minutes or less and I was done. Also they told me I had 5/32 left on tread wear and to come see them in a couple thousand miles for a tire quote. Beware! Today my wife took her 2017 Honda Odyssey into the Westfield Discount Tire to get her air pressure check because the warning light came on. This is the tire store we bought the tires on the Odyssey. Tim checked the air pressure and told my wife two tires were overinflated, and let air out of those tires. She came home and said that the man who waited on her was rude, talked down to her and scolded her. She told me that later this afternoon she would take her car to another dealer to have the tire air pressure checked. Instead I took her vehicle back to Discount Tire. The manager Tim, waited on me. I informed him that my wife had just been there and came home feeling that she had been talked down to and scolded. Tim then scolded me. I advised Tim I wanted the air pressure rechecked while I could see the pressure gauge. Tim told me I would have to wait because he had more important things to do first. While waiting another man in the shop, Ty, asked if he could help. When I told Ty, I was there to get my tire pressure checked he said he could do that, stopped what he was doing, and helped me. Ty couldn't have been nicer. I stood with Ty and checked the original pressure and watched him inflate the tires to the manufacturers recommended 33 psi. Wait for it . . . One tire was 2 psi under inflated, 3 tires were 4 psi under inflated. read more

Manager called stating truck was fixed Saturday around 3:15. I couldn't make it there by the time they closed so told them to leave the truck out back and i would pay invoice online to pick up sunday. Invoice was paid, I show up to pick the truck up (today) sunday and the truck is inside the shop with the doors closed and no way to get the truck. 45 min drive to turn right back around. This was the first time I had bought tires for pleasure and not out of necessity. I had initially spoke with Steve who was very helpful and called back right away. Dan was very helpful getting the tires ordered and even showed me some comparable brands. Once ordered I was quoted a week for the tires to arrive. To my surprise, the tires arrived the next day. Even though the shop was scheduled to close in one hour, they were able to change my wheels and mount the new tires. Matt was able to explain the bill in full and got us rang out quick. Overall the experience was easy and painless. Everyone was very professional and helpful. I can't recommend Tire Discounters enough and will definitely be back for my next set of tires. As for the tires, the Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT (275 70 17) are amazing. Almost no road noise, great grip and just a great looking tire. The 10 ply definitely provides a stiffer ride, but that is what I was aiming for. read more

Started out ok - friendly and professional, quick work but went downhill really quick from there. First we had to go to a different store because the tech couldn't get the tire sensors to re-set which took an extra hour and half and cost an unexpected extra $139 but that's not really the issue. Three hours after tires were installed while on our way out of state two tires were losing pressure. Contacted store and was told couldn't be the tires, had to be that we picked up a nail on the highway and call the roadside assistance and they would tow it to the closest Tire Discounters store for replacement. This happened at 6:00 on a Friday evening an hour and a half from our home and the closest store was closed so no repair would have been done until the next day. Called roadside assistance anyway - was not able to get through to a person. Ended up having to take the car somewhere else to have the tires fixed enough to drive and paid $90. When we took the car for the temporary fix there was no nail or anything else in the tires and we were advised the issue was with the installation - the tires were not installed properly (not sealed around the rim) and only two of the four valve stems had been replaced. Took car back to the store where the tires were installed that following Monday requesting they fix the issue and reimburse us the money we were forced to spend for temporary fix. At first they said we had to take the car to a different store for the repair because "they were the last ones to touch the car" and then eventually relented and agreed to fix but said they would not reimburse the money we had to spend because we "went to a competitor." We went to a competitor because we had no other choice and if the tires had been installed properly in the first place we wouldn't have gone to a competitor! Once the "fix" was done the techs didn't bother to air the tires up and the low tire pressure light on the car is still on which tells us they didn't even bother to test it and make sure the issue was fixed. What tire repair or auto shop does that??? I have never had such a horrible experience with a car shop in my 20 + years of car ownership and driving and one would think they would at least offer some sort of reimbursement or something for all of the trouble we had because of their faulty installation. I would not recommend these people to anyone and quite frankly the extra money for road hazard warranty and roadside assistance is so far a joke. I am now going to spend even more money to take my car to the dealership to make sure the tire issue is fixed and to have it aligned even though Tire Discounters gave a certificate for a free alignment (included with the tire package purchased but they stated they could not do the alignment when the tires were installed so we would have to come back) because I do not trust Tire Discounters to do the work properly. read more
