Our car got another flat, and this time I had to put on the spare. We brought our car back to Discount, and even though we didn't buy the tire from them, they repaired it for free - on the spot! As I sat on the bench and watched the mechanic work, I noticed that he also checked the air pressure on all the other tires - including the spare - and then he put the spare back in the trunk where it belonged. You can't beat friendly, competent, immediate service for free. read more

Like everyone has stated, I had a very good experience as well. I took my car in after I keep getting the low tire pressure symbol. This was especially frustrating because I had put air in the tire 3x this week. Diego was very warming and went to examine my car with me. He immediately told me that I had a screw in my tire, which obviously explained why I kept getting the symbol. He told me that they would be willing to fix the tire for free since it was due to construction most likely! Would definitely recommend this location because of the great service, honesty and very caring nature of the employees, especially Diego. read more

They never get it right the first time! The last 3 times I have taken my vehicle in to have the tires rotated I get my car back only find that they have knocked a balance weight off causing my car to shake like crazy at 60+ MPH. And when I take it back and explain that the tires now need balanced I get attitude. Go to the Discount Tires on Lincoln. It's worth the extra drive time. They do a fantastic job every time and with great customer service!!! read more

Ok... So i learned something on my most recent visit to Discount Tires. I don't know if it was specific to this location, or if this happens at other locations... but... the prices are negotiable?! I went in looking for some snow tires for my scion tC. They didn't have the exact fit, but they had a little bit larger, and with that larger tire came a larger price. I wavered in my purchase decision, when the sales representative told me he could knock 20 dollars off each tire. I agreed, paid, and took a walk while they installed. While I was taking a walk I looked at my receipt, and it appeared the tires were marked even cheaper on the receipt and he had included some tire replacement service (which is a total waste of money). So I went back into the shop and told him that I didn't want the service added to my tires. he informed me that this was part of the special package price that I got. I asked him if I don't get that price if i refuse the service... and he said... "oh no... no problem".... So here we go... I was quoted $220.00 per tire when I walked in... I ended up paying $170.00 per tire walking out. that's 50 dollars per tire... $200.00 savings... Evidently prices are negotiable at Discount Tires. read more

Classic "Bait and Switch" I called Discount Tires and asked how much to repair a flat tire. I was told that there would be no charge and to just bring the tire down. After arriving a well-groomed, young man in a clean and pressed, gray uniform said he would be happy to help and asked for me to show him the tire. First he needed to go get his clipboard though. He inspected the tire while making jovial and unwelcome small talk and then proceeded to decipher some markings on the tire that precluded anyone from repairing the tire for any reason whatsoever. The tire was determined by him to be over 10 years old you see. "It's a federal offense to mess in with that tire," he informed me in a serious tone. "You're not going to find anyone to repair it. It's against the law!" He then proceeded to explain to me at tiresome length about "new, federal regulations" and what not. All I needed and wanted was a couple of plugs to repair my tire. But he then walked around the car and measured the treads with a "special tool" he had. He then proceeded to inform me that what I really needed was a new set of tires. We went inside to a clean and well-appointed reception area where he looked up information on his computer and tried to sell me a new set of tires. I could see where this was going and cut him short asking for a price on his cheapest tire. One tire $88. A new set, which he said I really needed remember, even though my inspection showed the tread to be fine on all 4 tires. $352. I left. Drove down the street to a filling station that also repaired tires. The repairmen were dirty from working on tires, didn't speak English and didn't have a clean, well-lighted, reception area. They charged me $10 bucks to take out 2 nails, repair the holes with plugs, remount the tire on my car and fill my other three tires to recommended pressure. I just had my tires done and I'm very pleased with Discount Tires. They had two front tires done in 40 min. I was told to have my car aligned and was recommended to go to Breaks Plus. The only reason I am giving one star less is because the recommendation was the worst! Called and made an appointment to Breaks Plus ( Lincoln shopping center) for the next day. I arrived at 11 and I was told it will only take 45 min to one hour to have the car aligned. I'm waiting for longer then an hour, until "I" finally ask about my car to then be told your car will need an extra hour and 30min of work since NOTHING was done to my car in that hour that I was waiting and it will cost more money then previously told!! I have never been extremely disappointed with customer service as I was today! They do not put customers first. I recommend going some where else if you don't want your time or money to be wasted. read more

Don't go here if they are busy. Their service at the desk is terrible. My car was done for over 30 minutes and they never let me know until I went up and asked. Called regional office to let them know they apologized but basically said all store are very busy right now and these things happen. They were very understanding of my frustration. They had the manager call me. I said I didn't think there was any reason for me to ever come back. Not once did he ask what he could do to get my business back. My suggestion is that if you have a Costco membership go there. Customer service and satisfaction is very important to them and they show it. read more

I recently bought four new tires from this Discount Tire Store when my driver-side front tire picked up a screw. They diagnosed the problem and promptly replaced, not repaired, the tire. I never thought I would be writing a review on a discount tire shop but the customer service I received her was exceptional. The manager went out of his way to find tires for my car and had me out in no time. The manager actually found a cheaper tire that fit my needs better than the one he had sold me originally and called me to offer to swap them out.
