I did end up calling and somehow the number rang for a different location in Flagstaff. So I drove there instead. Service was decent. So to be clear, the review is based on not actually finding this location and the number in the listing going to another location. Our family was traveling when TPMS light came on which led me to pullover and see if we had a nail or debris in the tire. Sure enough, a nail had punctured the tire. Luckily we were just minutes away from this location. Brandon (Store Manager) helped us out and we were back on the road shortly. The staff are hard workers and provided exceptional customer service. I highly recommend the Discount Tire location on HWY89 next to Safeway. I punctured my 1 year old OEM truck tire with a huge screw, completely deflating the tire. I took the tire/wheel to Discount to see what they could do. The assistant mgr walked to my car, pulled out the tire from my truck, checked it out and said it wouldn't be a problem to fix. One hour later, the patched, inflated & balanced tire/wheel was loaded back into my car for me. I was stunned when I was handed my invoice for $0. These guys could have charged me hundreds for a new tire, but instead got me safely back on the road at no charge. I really appreciate their integrity and great service. I will be purchasing all my future tires at the Discount Tire on HWY89. read more

I was on my way back to my hometown when I ran over a nail, thank god! If I had continue driving on freeway my tire would have blew out anyway!! Tire was on its last leg a couple of bumps in road would have blew tire Basically causing damage to car & being expensive!!! I went into a Mobil gas station where a automotive shop was they helped me and called this specific shop and they had the tire!!! This place has replaced tires on many of my cars, and have always been willing to beat other prices in town. I have always received superb customer service whether I am buying new tires, window shopping, or getting a tire replaced under their warranty! I had a problem a while back, which I can't remember what it was but Toyota pointed it out to me. I gave them a call and there was not argument of "it's been at another service place, our hands are clean of you", it was simply, bring it in and we will make it right. Do yourself a favor and take the extra drive to go to a different discount tire. I'm an 18 year old girl, and know a bit about cars compared to most girls my age. I brought my car in as the front two tires were leaking a bit, and they told me they couldn't fix them because the tread was at 2/22. Hm. I find that odd as I put new tires on this car not too long ago. I listen to what the guy (I don't remember his name) says and get new tires, because they can't service them and I need to drive my car very soon. All of my tires were bought at the same time. 2 weeks later I run over a nail on my drivers side rear. I take it in to a different discount tire and they tell me the tread is 6/22. All of my tires were bought AT THE SAME TIME. And they said it's perfectly fine and capable to be serviced, so I won't need to be charged. Not to mention my promise time was 3, and I left at 4:30. If you are a father or mother of a younger woman, please do yourself a favor and accompany them or inform them about these things when going for car repairs. Countless times I have been scammed from companies like this, and have been unaware of it. These guys are awesome! We were in town to visit our son who attends NAU and after grabbing a meal downtown, we saw that one of our tires on our vehicle was almost completely flat. We limped it to a nearby gas station for some air, it was a pretty bad leak, but had enough to make it to discount tire. It was 5:58pm when we arrived and saw that they closed at 6pm. I truly expected to be told to return in the morning, wow I was so pleasantly surprised when the manager assisted us and said that they would take care of our tire issue. Most of the time when I have tire needs, this Discount Tire delivers. They repair tires for free as well as checking/adjusting tire pressure. Recently, however, I went to this location with my fiancé to look into a possible warranty to replace all four tires for free. The guy came out to look at her car and simply said "we don't do that." He didn't call up the company the warranty is from or offer possible alternatives. We went to the Discount Tire on Milton and the guys were very friendly. Though they'd never heard of this warranty program, they called up the tire company to check it out. After seeing how how our Discount Tire experience should have been, I am disappointed about this location's performance. read more

Scheduled an appointment for 11:00am and arrived at 10:45am as requested. Check in technician said I would have my tires balanced and rotated within a few minutes. At 11:15am a second technician approached our car and said they would have us out by 12:15pm. I asked why so long and was told DISCOUNT TIRE NOW BOOKS THREE CARS FOR EACH APPOINTMENT!! Why would someone book an appointment at 11:00am for a 15 minute rotation and balance then have to wait a total of 1.5 hours. I have bought tires and serviced my cars at DISCOUNT TIRE for over 20 years, but this triple booking and extra hour waiting for service will have me think twice before buying at DISCOUNT TIRE in the future. Looks like I will have to try BIG "O" TIRES from now on. read more

Roger Stenman at Discount Tire is THE BEST, and we are so impressed with the service he gave us during our visit. We recently got a flat tire while visiting Flagstaff from Phoenix. Our car has runflat tires, so we figured we would not be able to find replacement tires in a pinch while visiting a small town. This was particularly distressing, as we had our infant daughter in the car with us. We realized we would have to arrange for a rental car and a tow truck to get our family home safely. We went to Discount Tire to see if they could help and were lucky to meet Roger, who rushed our car into the shop once we explained our predicament. After taking a look, he told us that the tire could not be repaired, BUT he had taken the time to look at the shop's collection of spare tires and found a runflat tire that could work to get us home. He installed the tire immediately so that we could get on the road as soon as possible. He even wrapped our old tire and put it in our trunk to take to our dealer for the warranty. My husband and I are so grateful for this incredibly kind and personal service, and highly recommend this Discount Tire location (especially Roger!) to anyone. read more

This place puts walk-in's ahead of appointments! Happened on several occasions. This place has incompetent management that results in ridiculous wait times. The last time they even had me come in 15 minutes before my appointment time to wait 40 after the appointment time while they squeezed every walk in they could. They have broken hub caps and acted like it was no big deal. The worst place to get your tires in Flagstaff for sure. read more

I've been a loyal Discount Tire customer for a while, and they've always been great. I had a number of problems with a set of tires I had bought in Phoenix 4 months ago. Two failures prior to rolling into Flagstaff. Luckily - found this Discount and rolled in. I was livid at the time because the tires were abysmal (BFG Rugged Terrains - DO NOT BUY!!!!), but that's not Discount's fault. BFG refused to stand behind the tires and meet my expectations. However, Brian really stepped up where BFG fell down. I left extremely satisfied with a new set of tires that will hopefully do a much better job meeting my needs. Shout out to the guys at Discount Tire on Hwy 89. I have an 07 Civic found out recently after having car aligned the irregular tire wear is a result of the Control Arm. I checked several tire shops. Russ is amazing. He knows his tires. I special ordered my Michelin Defenders. Took 1 day to get to FLG. The store was so on top of it I got my tires on a day early. I was able to move my appointment up. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. These guys are great. They match or beat the competitor. I lucked out on a 75.00 mail in rebate. That works for me. Awesome place! We needed to replace our wheels but didn't have time because of our traveling on a schedule. There was debris stuck between the tire and wheels causing air to leak. These guys cleaned it out and gave us a tire rotation, all for free! We chilled out at the Safeway next door and were gone within an hour. That's as good as it gets! read more

My husband saw a staple in a tire as we were on our way home to Utah from Arizona, stopped to get it patched. Discount Tire said it couldn't be repaired, had to be replaced. Got home to Park City, took the tire to our local tire company and they patched it. Discount Tire is dishonest. They should give us our $140 back after having it patched for $30. read more

Discount tire went above and beyond for me. I bought 4 tires and just as they were ready to get the car in the bay the battery died. One of the tire guys jumped my car and I drove it in the bay. I've been a loyal customer of Discount Tire since they began business after illicit dealings with Big-O. Discount Tire has always been the best place to buy quality tires at a great price. Amazingly, they are one of the very few tire companies left who TRULY honors their extended road hazard warranty! Other outfits love to peddle those warranties and then flake out when its time to use it. Not so, with Discount Tire. They even rotate my tires for free on my newly purchased vehicle with factory provided tires (not purchased from Discount)! I frequent the store near the mall despite it being farther away to drive because of the highest level of service I am provided with from store manager Al Farrat. We have had good service with Discount in Flagstaff until recently, so I'm not sure what changed. The last several times we have been there we have had to wait ~ 2 hours (WITH AN APPOINTMENT). The last time was the last straw. We ordered ahead of time 5 new tires & wheels (very expensive) and told Discount when we would be there. They even called to confirm... good start. But when we got there we still had to wait 2 hours for them to get to us. Once we left, one by one each of the tire pressure sensors went out - all 4. We pulled over the side of the road and called Discount to tell them. They said it was probably the spare tire in the back sending false readings. So after we got home and removed the spare tire, the tire sensors were still out. We called them again to make another appointment to get them replaced. BTW, it's a 3 hour round trip for us to go to Discount. Upon our arrival they tell us the 3rd party sensors they use don't always work on new vehicles, so they would need to order OEM (Ford) sensors. When I asked why they didn't do that right away they tell us they had to check the sensors first to see if they really didn't work! So back home AGAIN. We were told the sensors would be in later that week... it's been 2 weeks and we still haven't heard from them. What a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. read more
