Just left Great Wolf Lodge, low rear tire. Sensor went off when we arrived yesterday. Figured I only needed air. My luck the tire needed to be replaced. I have 4 hungry, tired kids, in the car. While we were here we got 3 new tires on the car, we were able to stay in the car, and it only took them 30 minutes. These guys are awesome! This store has been amazing to me. This is not the closest Discount Tire to me, but I will always give them my business. I usually have kids in tow, and I have received excellent service here. It's the little things. A manager has run out to my car to bring me something so I didn't have to get the kids back out. They have repaired a tire with me and the kids in the car bc a child was napping. Once I came without an appointment and there was a long wait at the time. So they made me an appointment so I could come back with no wait. They've always opened doors for me. The store is always clean. I just really appreciate this store and it's team. read more

In all industries' products sometimes fail and inventory isn't always waiting on us, but customer service should always come with a guarantee. Not only did they treat me well, they also advised me by giving me options and suggesting what made the most sense for my situation. I had a flat tire and my spare was also flat. They checked for used tires to lower the cost, but unfortunately didn't have what I needed. Going the extra mile, they checked my spare and determined that it could be repaired. In the end, I drove away with a repaired tire having paid nothing for their service. Of course, I still have a flat spare, which I am gladly replacing with them. read more

I recently visited this location to have two tires replaced on my GMC Terrain. The price was reasonable, but the service after the fact was not what I would call, exceptional. The spare tire was not put back into the compartment, the center caps on my rims were not replaced, the grease from the install was not wiped off, etc. I called and left a message for the store manager, he never called back. Needless to say, with many other competitors who offer price matching and superior customer service, I would spend your money elsewhere. #disappointed read more

I never usually do reviews but I was seriously impressed with my service today. I needed two new tires and they showed me every pricing available. They didn't try to sell me the most expensive ones, just gave me all the facts and let me choose. I walked over to chic fil a with my two kids while I waited. They were very quick, and then they even brought my car to me so I didn't have to walk back with the kids. Very great customer service! If I lived in Dallas I would be back there every time. read more

What GREAT service thanks to Devin! Yesterday, I was traveling down 121 on the way to a business meeting in Ft. Worth and my 2016 Volvo, that had just been in service at the dealership the day before, was pulling hard to the right and had tire pressure warning. I pulled into this store and Devin quickly stopped what he was doing to check all my tires. Sure enough, they were majorly overinflated so he corrected them all, gave me a tire gauge, and showed me how to use it (didn't have the heart to tell him I knew how already) then sent me on my way in plenty of time to make the meeting. Unbelievably rude, disrespectful and low character of the manager on the evening of 1/17. My wife got a flat tire (discount tire installed, with warranty) just blocks away from this location and pulled into a parking lot. I picked up our kids and headed that way to help. She called discount and told them her issue and asked if we got it filled up enough to make there would they help, and they said not after six. I aired up the tire enough to get it to discount. It was just past dark, 40 degrees and raining. We pull up at 6:07 and the 12 guys standing around inside immediately fast walked out the door. I asked one employee if they could assist in any way and he said no, you need to put the spare on. As they continued to walk away we asked if any of them would like to make spare cash to help put the spare on and the manager, who called himself J.C., said "no, my family is more important than spare cash". There was no reason to be so rude with a comment like this as we were not verbally upset with them not helping in the first place. This doesn't have to do with the job they do on the clock, but rather a reflection of the character and integrity of the manager not helping someone in cold rain with kids in the other vehicle. I have been taking both of my vehicles here to this location for the last 10 years. The first eight and a half were great with speedy and excellent customer service. The last three times I have been I have been disappointed. First of the last three was for a rotation. Still had plenty of tread left on my tires but had to basically argue with the guy working the counter about wanting to keep them, on top of that it took an hour and a half for the rotation. The next time I came in in our other vehicle And I wanted to replace two tires only. Once again I was given a hard sell on getting four. This time it took over two hours to get the two new tires on. After I left I discovered that my TPS was not reset and tires are indicating wrong air pressure for tire. When I came in this week with a flat once again I was given a hard sell on tire replacement when I still have plenty of tread left. When I refuse to purchase new tires it seems they just put me at the back of the line. Over two hours of waiting for one flat to get fixed. Not sure if management changed at this location or what but that is 3 strikes and I am done. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. Do yourself a favor and look for a different Discount Tire location or a different business all together to get your tires and tire maintenance done. read more

Last December, I took my 2009 Cayenne to Discount Tire Grapevine Mills for a new set of tires. Although the tires are all the same size, the offsets and wheels are different on the front versus the back. Whoever installed my tires did not know this and installed them incorrectly. As a result, the driver side front wheel sustained ~$4,000 in damage. The brake caliper and rotor had to be completely replaced and the wheel reconditioned. All told, my car was out of commission for a month as we worked through the insurance claim and waiting for parts. Although Discount Tire's insurance paid for the claim, this was a huge inconvenience in time for us. Although we own 5 cars (20 tires) and have been purchasing from this location for a number of years, the management was silent on this. In this competitive marketplace, one would think that the minimum that the management of Discount Tire would have done would have been to apologize for the inconvenience and offer us a "discount" for the purchase of future tires. This experience has taught us that this location does not care or understand about the life-time value that a customer representing 20 tires represents....they are also overlooking the hundreds of tires represented by our friends who will know to avoid this location. read more
