I made an online appointment on Sunday. I entered my vehicle and chose the tires they recommended. The appointment was for Wednesday morning. I take off work and show up for my scheduled appointment Wednesday and they say they can't get the tires I ordered. They try to upsell another brand which they also do not have in store. If a company will not honor their online appointments they should not offer them. I will never shop at Discount Tire again. read more

Dropped car off on Friday evening knowing my tire would be repaired on Saturday morning, no problem. Saturday comes around and I'm told I should receive a call around 11am to pick it up (cool). 11am comes and nothing, so I decide to call around noon to see what's going on. It had been sitting there for an hour but no one decided to call (strike one). Go to pick up the car and have to wait cause they like to take their time and shoot the breeze with each other (strike two). Once I get in the car I see "low tire pressure" on my dash but I chalked it up to it being two other tires and not the brand new one they replaced. I get home and see that it was the brand new tire that I bought that had low tire pressure. How does a company not have a procedure set in place to make sure the tire is filled with air? This location has the dumbest people working there. Now I have to head back to the location to have them "look it over" and tell me that the tire was full when the parked it. read more

I usually have a good experience but not at this store. I called and the person that answered seemed almost uncooperative. So I drove to the store and was quoted on a price for several services which I had them do after finding it slightly difficult to communicate with the employee. When I returned they didn't do everything I asked so I just had them reduce the fees accordingly and went somewhere else. Calvin Fisher, Assistant Manager at this Hiram Discount Tire location, is changing my perception of the tire-buying process. He did a great job walking me through the options, providing a great price for the selection made, and getting me out the door promptly... several days later- I still feel good about my experience. Once you determine the tire spec's you want, you will find that there isn't a big price difference in comparable items between stores. He told me you have to wait 2 hours if you wanna make a schedule tomorrow you don't have to wait I said okay we discuss 10 o'clock a.m. appointment wish I was at the store 10 minutes to 10 it was 10:30 a.m. my car still sitting outside I asked my keys left the store I don't know how they get good review they work my other cars everything was okay then but now good service isn't here anymore. Just returned from Discount TIre Hiram Ga. Just let me say that they guys there are just awesome. They are hard working indiivduals who have a talent that none can beat. I observed Evin hustle and take in 10 cars while I was waiting. No I didn't have an appointment so I waited a bit. Yes they seem short handed but you coulld not detect that in their outstanding performance. I have had two prior visits before this and they always seem to amaze me. I haven't seen that kind of hustle since I last retired from the US Army. The guys back there in the bay with their torque wrenches and jacks all do an awesome job. They literally eat and run. These guys have won my business. Took car number one in to repair a tire. It could not be repaired, but they gave me the option to purchase a used tire (it was practically new) for a fraction of the price. The job was completed in less than an hour and my wallet was not as light as it could be. Took car number two in to repair a slow leak (Tires Plus in Powder Springs told me it could not be repaired), they repaired it, replaced the valve stem and charged me $0 (Tires Plus wanted to charge me $20 IF they could fix it). I gave this business 5 stars mainly because thats the most you can on this site! Ive bought 5 or 6 sets of tires over the years and each time I come away from my experience here and at the hwy 41 location in a damn good mood. That's strange considering I may have just plunked down a lot of money, though each time I felt like Id received a good product and at the lowest price. Obviously they match or beat any competitors rates, but the level of enthusiastic friendly service is sometimes almost overwhelming. The one time I had a problem with the tires id bought Gus immediately and without hesitation fixed the problem. These guys make other auto service companies look bad by comparison. Even the coffee is good... fyi, use their website to make an apt because it can get really busy here. read more

First time customer and couldn't be happier!! I knew my tires needed to be replaced but didn't want to wait for hours like I have at other tire places in the area. Was recommended to discount tire by a friend. Service was quick and simple, they gave me several options and I didn't feel pressured at all. The representative listened to my concerns and was very easy going. Told me it would be an hour and a half to get all 4 tires. I've waited twice that at other shops. Luckily I had my fiancé with me to run some errands. An hour later they texted me to let me know it was all done. Awesome! Daughter went for tire rotation they tried to convince her she needed tires. she said no they took car for rotation came back with $650+ invoice, was told to take off and do what they were originally told and said they made mistake what morons, I believe they profiled her and tried to sell her tires anyway tried to call corporate office they turned me back to the Hiram store the source of the problem in the first place tried to call them 3 times still haven't talk to manager, screw them and their corporate BS did business a few times but never again do yourself a favor and go to your local owned tire store or Wal Mart just bought new tires from them and it took 35 minutes and no pushy BS you don't need read more

I called and ordered a set of four tires on a Friday around noon. They didn't have the size I needed in stock, so the employee said he would place an order with their warehouse and the tires would either be in on Friday evening or by noon Saturday. In either case, he said he would call when they came in. I never got a call. I called Saturday afternoon and was told that they were in stock. I dropped the truck off and went to do some other errands in Hiram. I was told that it would be about an hour and again was told they would call when the job was complete. Ninety minutes later, we drove past Discount Tire and my truck was sitting outside, they never called. Now the price was right, and the timing was right, but if they say they are going to call, I really gets under my skin when they don't live up to their promise. It may be a small thing, but I consider it a big thing. lastly, they installed the tires on my White truck with the raised white lettering on the inside, not the outside, so now I have four purely black tires under my nice white truck; it looks like crap. I take partial blame for net telling them, but I would think it standard practice to ask at the time of drop off whether I wanted the white lettering inside or outside. I honestly don't remember if my old tires had raised lettering, but when I saw the truck sitting in their lot, the tires stood out against the white paint dramatically. This was not the look I remember with the old tires. I will never purchase tires from Discount Tire again. Kauffman's is right down the road and will price match, so the lack of customer service at Discount Tire is the deciding factor for me in the future. read more

I am very disappointed with the service I received. When I arrived they said hello then commenced to do everything but ask me what I needed. I waited patiently for about ten minutes before deciding to leave. Of course as I am walking out the door they finally send some kid out to apologize. Fine. Ok so I give them a break and go ahead and get my tires from them. They told me one hour. So as hour 2 crosses I get up to figure out what is taking so long and this guy is like your car is done. Well hello im sitting right here!! My thing is even if they called my name and I didn't reply something I highly doubt happened cause I was sitting literally right next to the desks you don't even do a coyrtesy phone call? Come on. I initially bought my tires when I lived here then moved away for a few years. Hiram Discount Tire is far superb to any other Discount Tire I have been to. This place is great they offer insurance for your tires so that if you buy a tire and for whatever reason you get a flat , you pay a small fee to insure the other tire and you get another tire. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They definitely make you feel welcome ant that you are valued as a customer. read more
