I live close to this Discount Tire, and while it's true that this location is busy, I've always had a good experience here. Rojellio and team looked into a slowly deflating tire (turns out it was a nail) and patched it up in less than the estimated time. I always come here for tire rotations and balancing, and have had nothing but great service. I would suggest making an appointment, preferably at a less crowded time on Saturdays and near evening rush hour, and you should have a good experience. read more

I come here out of convenience/location. The wait time is ridiculous. Today is the worst. Im here today two tires and they told me it'd be completed in 1 hr. I've sat here for 2 hours. A lady came in 30 minutes and was just told her car is next. Several people who came after me have already been served and have left. You can imagine my confusion, so I inquire about how longer I'll have to sit here and they tell me there are 2 cars ahead of me. Just be honest if it'll take longer. I had errands to run today but now have to take off another day of work. I'll find another place to go. UPDATE: I got a call from Management a day after posting and they listened intently to me. Sat for two and half hours today. I'd still be sitting had I not asked what was up. Then the manager wanted to argue with me about not checking back in properly when I returned from an errand 3 hours earlier. Then it was an argument about the lug lock. He tried to tell me that I had kept it previously. I hadn't. I reminded him that he had taken it into the service bay area when I returned from my quick errand. Finally, well past three hours of sitting in the glass magnifying heat of the waiting area the car is on a rack. To their defense, there was a power outage shortly after I returned from my errand. So I guess that threw the entire operation into a tizzy. As a plus the chairs in the waiting area are very cushy and comfortable. The free bottle water is good and cold. I appreciate both these benefits on a day like today. read more

Having purchased tires at Discount Tire in a previously life, I decided I would be return to Discount Tire as it was time to purchase tires again. On my initial visit I could not believe how busy this place was There was easily 10-12 people already waiting for their vehicle and there was another 8-10 people in line (including myself). I seriously thought they might be giving away free tires. Unfortunately that was not the case. The associates did a great job of processing the line and in no time I was being waited on. For me purchasing tires is one of those necessary evils so I'm very selective in my purchase. Kristopher waited on me an did a superb job assisting me in my tire decision. Because of the number of people ahead of me, I decided to make an appointment and return later in the week. Because everything had been entered earlier in the week, my follow up appointment went smoothly. Kristopher was working on that day and waited on me once again. I gave him my keys and as promised, within an hour I was on the road with a new set of tires. The wait went fairly quickly as several of the other customers were super friendly and talkative. The most painful part of the wait was the temperature in the waiting area; it was cold. I'm sure that has to do with all of the windows in the area and the fact that there are a significant number of customers entering/exiting the primary door. If you're in the market for tires or need to have a tire repaired, I highly recommend Discount Tire and more specifically, this location. read more

I have been a driver for.... well, let's just say many years now. And I have never, ever driven over a nail. I move to Texas, what happens? NAIL. Both rear tires of my Forester (yes that's me the one guy in Texas who owns a Forester) have had slow leaks for quite some time. But just the other day, my rear left tire was wayyyyy lower than usual. I keep a cigarette lighter air pump in my car - I suggest you do too - they're like $10-15 and really worth it. Anyhow I have to maintain good tire pressure because my car has all-wheel drive, and that can get pretty messed up if your tires are low. Where was I. OH yah so I was worried about that low tire - even after re-inflating it, it got real low again a few hours later. So on my way home, I searched for "tire" in Yelp and found a Firestone place with bad reviews, and this place, with a lot of good ones. I went here. It's a nice facility and they take care of you rather quick. There were a lot of people here waiting when I showed up but all of them were out of there before I left. They really do churn out the tire work here. Now the guy who helped me, Jon, was great. He checked out the tires on my car, and immediately found this GIANT silver nail in the back left tire. I couldn't believe it. Now, he checked each tire and did mention that they were going to need replacing soon, which I knew, but he didn't pressure me on it. He rang me up for a puncture fix. But I stopped him. I know my tires are on their way out. When I pull into parking spaces the front tires squeal like crazy. So I went for a full set of 4 new tires. I do a lot more driving here in Texas than back home in Boston. And after listening to every person who came in after me - apparently your state is LITTERED with nails. "I ran over a nail" "I hit a nail". This place should sell t-shirts with a punctured tire on them with a nail sticking out that say "I got nailed in Texas". That's my idea! I thought of it! Actually go ahead and produce it. Just buy me a beer. Anyhow he said it would be an hour but it wasn't that long. 4 new tires work great, they do free rotation and alignments and stuff. I am good to go. I'm thankful this place is close to where I live and really helped me out of a jam. --------- *UPDATE* I went back here Monday because - guess what? - yup - hit another nail! Hooray Texas! TWICE this year I've run over a nail - NEVER done that in all my life until I moved here! My reason for updating is to tell you how awesome they were about fixing me up; my puncture could not be repaired so they had to replace the tire. Thankfully, last time I was in here, I purchased the tire insurance. *I strongly recommend you do this* - Instead of having to pay for a whole new tire, I paid like $23! Can you believe it!?!?? Holy moly that's AWESOME! And it will sure be handy when I run over ANOTHER nail in a few months - it's bound to happen. You know, it really is refreshing to see some integrity in the usually super-shady auto repair business. I came in with a gigantic nail in the middle of my tire. It wasn't anywhere near the shoulder, so I prepped myself to rebuff an attempt to sell me a new tire instead of repairing something that was clearly fixable and planned to pay for a simple tire repair. Great prices, great service. I replaced all my tires in the last year with them, and each time I got some of the best prices in town on a basic tire. The service package that comes with them is excellent: they remind you when it's time to rotate (which they do for free) and you can always stop in to have them check your air pressure. What puts it over the top for me is their warranty, which is worth every penny. I got a flat tire about a mile from home last night; instead of spending an hour on the side of the road at midnight, I drove home on the flat tire and had it towed in this morning. Even though the tire was shredded because I drove on it, they replaced it under the warranty. All I had to pay was $10 for a warranty on the new tire! They checked my record to see if I needed my tires rotated, and they also checked the air in all my other tires. It took about an hour from when I came in to when I was able to leave, and that was without an appointment. I was very pleased, and have been recommending them to all my friends. read more

Extremely long wait time. Was told 1.5 hours for a tire rotation and watched other people that came in after me get service. This was the first disappointment with discount tire, but they messed up. In fact they owned that the intake representative put in a 2.5 hour appointment time on my paperwork instead of an 1.5 hour wait. Horrible check-in process Service techs provide great service and work, but the intake process is broken. I stopped in to have a plug and a patch on one of my tires (nail), all of which were previously purchased at this location and had to wait in the line for over 20 minutes just to be told that the wait time was over two hours. I left, as I don't have three hours to spare to patch a tire. I can understand and respect the two-hour wait - they are busy and that is how their queue system works, but having to wait nearly 25 minutes for someone to inform me of that fact? Failure in customer service, and a waste of my time. Could be fairly easily addressed with some form of "wait time" sign, or maybe a few more people working intake during busy periods? I have tried to come a few times that I had been advised tend to be "slow periods" - always the same situation. read more

I went in to have my tires rotated as was part the purchase when the tires were purchased & installed from Discount Tire, a young guy by the name of Mike immediately began trying to pressure me in to purchasing new tires finally acknowledging all 4 tires were good but had an attitude after I resisted his hi-pressure tactics in trying to sell me new tires, he took 3 additional customers who he was able to sell new tires and put them before me, during this time I witnessed this same guy (Mike) use the same hi-pressure tactics and pressure at least half a dozen more customers (mostly women). I can only assume there is some kind of pay incentive. After reading other reviews for this location it is clear that this is a managerial issue and the only question is how high up the chain does it go! The odds that I will make a purchase from Discount Tire Co. in the future are zero to none. read more

I have never received bad customer service at any discount tires before. On some, the wait can be long but they can't help that. I tire had a nail in it and I couldnt figure out why because it wasn't flat. I kept putting air in it and the air pressure light kept coming back on. I finally scheduled for an inspection and they found a nail in it after a week long! I cant believe I drove for a week with a nail in my tire but anyway, they finally fixed it for free with insurance on my tire. It was the easiest experience.
