OK...should have listened to the reviews I read. I was in there yesterday for a new trailer tire and didn't look at the receipt until I got home. They charged me $16 Replacement Fee, and $16 for a lifetime spin balance. WOW. I called and talked to them and told them I didn't have a weight one on the wheel so it wasn't balanced. They said the Charge was for installation. Lets see, $16 Replacement fee (Whatever that was), and $16 Spin Balance/Installation fee. Whats up but price gauging. This is highway (I-10) robbery. I will never go back to this discount tire, and if I do go back to another Discount tire, I will certainly study the receipt in great detail. Suggest you go to somewhere else, even Walmart doesn't charge the exorbitant fees for nothing. I guess this is how they pay for all the black shirts they wear? read more

Extremely grateful for the people that work at Discount Tire... I went to discount tire to get a nail pulled out of my tire and to get it patched up. Brandon helped me. He told me that I needed a new tire because it was bad. He also told me that I needed one for the other side. He said that it could go at anytime. The thing was that it was two days after Christmas and I had no extra money to spend. After talking to the manager, he told me Merry Christmas and said that all together he would charge me $97.00. He basically put the tires on for free. I almost started crying. They care more about helping people out than money. They did not have to do this for me. They could have let me go on my way and be stuck with one spare that was already on my car and a tire that could have popped at anytime and left me and my children stranded. I am letting everyone know what kind of great experience that I had. It makes me feel better knowing that there is kind people out there that put people first instead of the old mighty dollar. read more

Everytime I come here, I get treated respectfully. I bought a set of tires and later had a blowout. They replaced the tire with a new one at no additional cost. They stand behind their warranty. I highly recomend Discount Tire. read more

They need better people in this place. I came in to get my tires checked and I was told all I need is air. I woke up the next morning with a complete flat tire. This particular location needs better employees who can actually recognize a problem with the tires when filling it up with air, the tire was usually low. I have been here several times in the past and they've told me the same thing, I've gone to other locations to get the problem fixed and other locations have provided much better customer service and ACTUALLY checked my tires rather than just tell me I need more air. I'm truly disappointed with the customer service. read more

They only honor their ads if you bought your tires from them. I had been a Discount Tire customer for decades. But when I bought a new car they refused to fix my flats or rotate my tires. Stating that for safety concerns it is imperative that I buy a new tire. No other shop has a problem with patching or rotating my tires. read more

Usually my experiences here have been good but the last couple of times I have brought tires here to get tires plugged I get told they need to be replaced. It consistently happens every time. My guess it's because I don't buy their warranty and they want to sell me tires. read more

This store is run by a bunch of amateurs. Dropped my suv off at 8:30 in the morning. Came back at close and paid the thousand dollars for four new tires. Walked to the suv and saw all tires were still the old ones. So basically I paid for nothing. Good thing I caught it before I left. Now I have to be without a vehicle for another day. Buyer Beware! I damaged two of my wheels and one tire and had them replaced at this location. The next time I drive the truck I find out that the front lug nuts on one of the wheels they changed out are extremely loose. Four I could turn by hand and the other I got at least one full turn with the tire wrench before it became tight. Also my ABS light came on for my brakes. When I brought the truck in for them to lock at I expected at least some or maybe even a little concern their actions almost cost me and six family members to lose the left front wheel of my truck going down the interstate at 70 miles per hour instead of denying any involvement at all. I brought it to my mechanic and ended up spending a lot of money repairing the ball joints on my front wheels and an ABS sensor on my truck which I cannot prove was caused by the loose wheel but it sure is coincidental that they went out at the same time. I will never use this store again for any reason. read more

I have been a customer of Discount for almost 30 yrs. This visit was by far the best one yet! I do not know if it is just this location or if they all have improved their svc but they were exceptional. The mgr. came over to talk with me since I was insisting I have my new tires on the front. After some discussion we worked out a plan with great assistance from him. I had made an online appt and they got the car in fast and finished quickly installing 4 tires. I was notified they were finishing and asked by a rep from out in the shop if there was anything else they could do for me. Then they brought my vehicle up into a delivery area which is a big switch from pulling your own car out like they have done in the past. They have really stepped up there game! read more

Must say I was quite impressed with the manager Yasin and the service. They really bust ass there. Very courteous and professional. Went there because they were the only ones that showed to have my Camaros front tires in stock. In and out in about an hour and they were pretty busy to boot. Will be back. read more

Went in the other day to have my tires filled with air. After a 20 minute wait I walked into the garage and asked who I need to talk to to get my tires filled up. One guy was balancing a tire, the other guy was watching him. Both replied that they didn't know who pumps up tires. I asked the guy who wasn't doing anything to fill my tires. He said he couldn't do it. IT WASN'T HIS JOB. So I asked where the manager was. Neither of them knew. I then walked into the office and found the manager. I asked him who can fill my tires up. He said he didn't know. "Go ask someone in the service bay to do it", he followed up with. I told him I had already done that. Moreover, that no one knew who's job that was, and the one person I asked said it wasn't theirs. What did this moron on do? He shrugged his shoulders and said, "Oh well, I can't help you". I then drove over to the shop by Katy Mills Mall. They were on it immediately. read more
