I've been a Discount Tire customer for 35 years. Be ever had a problem with them honoring their or the Manufacturers warranty. I buy all of my tires for 4 vehicles from them, and run top of the lIne Michelin's on all but my beater pickup. Was told today that they would not honor Mfrs warranty on my car because the Mfr would not warrant them on the rear of my 3 series BMW, due to the manner in which the tires wear on that car. They should have told me that before they sold me the tires. Not the proper way to do business or treat a long term customer. I definitely would say I was mislead regarding the mfrs warranty. My car had a tire that was leaking air (I ran over a nail or something). Discount tire has always provided free pressure checks/air fills but when the manager came back with my keys he said there was no charge for fixing flats. Giving out free air is one thing but to fix flats for no charge is unheard of. They have definitely earned my business when I need new tires!!!!!!! read more

I was at the grocery store when I heard air leaking from my tire. It was a big screw. Driving from the store to Discount Tire was under 3 miles, however, that drive shredded the tire. When I arrived I was greeted with a smile. After looking at my tires I was informed all 4 needed replacing. I have the insurance on them but it's prorated so that doesn't help a ton on replacing all 4 tires. I asked for the cheapest tires and sadly they didn't have them in stock. Discount Tire went above and beyond helping me find tires I could afford, giving me 100% coverage on the bad tire, and helping me to buy all 4 tires so my vehicle would drive safely. In addition to making the deal work so I could afford it, they had me in and out in time for me to pick up my daughter from school. What started as a nightmare quickly turned into just a bad hour. I was told Discount tires could repair my nail in my tire. I came in and was told it would be 1/2 hour until my car would be attended to. Meanwhile, my tire was deflating again, and it has now been 1 hour and counting. No one has even approached my car to stick it in the bay. Why they tell you one thing and do another does not make sense. I have brought both vehicles in before and they have done better. Delivered as promised! Had a problem with valve stems installed on new tires by another location. It was a very busy Friday morning and I did not have an appointment. Brought wheels in by themselves then new valve stems were installed and the wheels rebalanced within two hours. Watched the crews work on vehicles with speed but with methodical, precise skill. The training that they had received was evident. The manager and the assistant managers were helicopters, helping and advising when needed. Location was clean throughout including bathrooms. Wished the Federal government was run as well! Ha ha read more

I have never been so pleased with car service, ever!!! I somehow tend to always have tire troubles, so I frequently end up here. I recently took my car to the NRH location as my tire pressure kept dropping, but they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. I knew this location was very thorough in inspections, so I drove here and had them check it out. They determined I had a faulty previous patch placed on it, so I needed to get it replaced. They estimated about 45 minutes, but finished within 20!!! A record time!!! There was a pretty good sized crowd in the waiting area too. The guys here are awesome and honest; they never try to rip me off. Prices are great too. I ended up coming back like 4 days later with a nail in my other tire, and they patched it up for free!! Dealing with car troubles makes me cringe and avoid it, but this place makes it bearable! read more

This was my first time at this location. The actual tire service was ok, however, one of the prongs that keep their signs up inside of their store fell directly onto my shoulder. It was loud enough to bring attention from the other customers, but no employee came over to ask if I was ok. Nobody bothered to bring down the leaning sign or collect the fallen prong for 10 minutes. Poor customer service and my shoulder hurts really bad. read more

I probably won't be going to this location again. I set up an appointment and took my 2016 4Runner in to get my tires rotated. The inside service rep took my keys and went out to my SUV to look at it. He came back in and spent a little time on his screen, and then called me up to the desk. He told me that the tires I had were too big to be on the rims. The Toyota Limited has a 7" wide rim, and he said my tires required a 7.5" rim, and they would not rotate them because of that. When I told him that they had rotated and balanced them the last time I needed it, he said someone had overlooked this. My suspicion is that I paid $85 last time to have this work done, but now the simple rotation wasn't going to be profitable. I took it to NTB, just up the road from Discount Tire, and they did it with no problem. It cost me $25, but that's ok. I would have paid Discount Tire the same if they were willing to do the work. I've noticed recently that Discount Tire looks for every way possible to sell you new tires. I've been a customer of Discount Tired for over 20 years. Oh well, I guess they can disappoint other customers going forward. It won't be me!!! read more

Went to get a tire rotation and they found my wheel was out of round, took me to the machine and showed me how bad it was. Jared was so awesome- he explained to me like 4 times what my options were, what they looked like and then gave me a break on replacing my wheels! Let me start by saying I buy from discount primarily for 2 reasons. They offer tires at a competitive piece plus I can get them serviced just about anywhere. This is where this location failed me. We came to the store with a tpms daily just weeks after buying 6 new tire for a small fortune. This store "couldn't replace sensor because they couldn't train sensors - "Ford has to do that" which is completely wrong. Ended calling store where I purchased it. They said they could do it but I was 5 hours away. Took to another store and they replaced it. Free of charge since it was broken! read more

I scheduled an appointment and was checked-in 3 times and yet they were 15 minutes late to work on my vehicle. I arrived 12 minutes before my appointment and yet with 3 people checking me in they were 15 minutes late. I was checked in at the red tent and then they guided me to park and two different folks checked me in 2 more times. Each time I told each of the three people that I had scheduled the appointment 4 days ago at the arranged time. The service was okay, and I wouldn't recommend this place or go back. More often than not I have a good experience here, but it never fails me that when I work with Jared he always tries to up sale me. I tell my wife and daughter when they see him turn and run fast. I work in sales and I understand about meeting the customer needs and hopefully, you can sales them something extra...I get it. However, this guy is super slimy. For example, one time I was hearing a knocking from my rear tire as if something was lose maybe a nut or cv joint wear and tear ( not expecting them to fix a cv joint) Jared looks at my vehicle without driving it and says "you need a whole new set of tires." I would not buy a cup of ice in the desert if Jared was selling it. Make sure you get an itemized receipt when you are working with him. Other than that I enjoy coming here and I plan on coming back in two months because my wife needs a set of tires and I enjoy the Keller location. Super clean store and the techs are fast, friendly, and nice. Again, I am not saying it's wrong for a salesman trying to sell you the better quality of tire and up selling the "warranty tire package" I'm in sales and I get it, but that Jared guy...turn and run. read more

They are dishonest. They will charge you an extra fee you didn't sign up for. $22 per tire is fine but then on top of that a charge they won't discuss with you that's another $33 per tire for some random certification. Extremely poor customer service from associate Juan. Set up an appointment and he wasn't friendly at all. I told him I had an issue with my tires and he told me they were all fine when my tire light was on. On top of that I asked for all tires to be checked for nails and he said "we can do that but we're not going to find anything" before even inspecting my tires. I'm not sure if he was trying to save time or what but he was very rude and dismissive. Not returning to this location again as he lied to me and didn't do what I asked even after repeatedly asking to still check all the tires. ***update*** two days after the innocent at this discount tire, my tire blew out on the highway. These people are so incredibly nice. They have fixed my flat tire 2 times now for free. This last time I got there and they were already closed (and had been for 20 mins) but the nice man said he would open the bay back up, pulled out the nail and plugged it and aired it back up all For free AFTER they were closed! I called Discount Tire at another location and they referred me to this store because it had the tire I needed. My tire had a plug in the shoulder (that a dealer should not have let pass) and I had to get it changed quick for a trip. The staff was professional courteous and got it done super fast. They let me take pictures of the old tire for proof that there was something that was not right with it and generally were great. Tim and Carlos thanks! Bought tires and had them mounted. all 4 tires were different psi ranging from 26-38. Factory specs are right on the door 29psi. Went back twice for road hazards. Had screws tires twice. Both times took over 2 hours. Ridiculously slow and asst manager is rude. read more

I have been going here for years. I will not return after today. I had a simple tire mount on a rim. I bought the tire at Discount a week earlier only to find the rim was damaged. I was told to leave the tire and new rim and come back in an hour and the would put the tire on the car. I came back gave them the keys and was told it would be ready in a couple of minutes. It took 30 minutes for car to make it to the bay and the tire had yet to be mounted. 30 minutes later I noticed the car was no longer in the bay. It took me another 15 minutes to find the car, way in the back. I asked about my car, they found the keys and paperwork. When I got to the car the spare was not correctly placed in trunk and a lug nut cap was not installed. I found the lost cap in the trunk under the spare tire. I guess this is the inevitable when a company gets successful, the service goes way down. read more

Good service. Excellent warranty program. Just really sucks at wait times. They know their customers need to wait and they make the experience as pleasant as possible. When I was at the head of the wait line, the open rep at the Service Desk took a call. Yes, I was a little bit put off that I had to wait - but I've been in the place of the calling customer too. Bill handled the phone customer with attentive professionalism. When it was my turn, he walked out with me to assess the shape of my tires, offered affordable choices, and there was no pressure upselling. I didn't give them 5 Stars only because of the wait time. (My car has not been seen yet.) It is Saturday. They are extremely busy. I am sitting in a comfy chair with my phone, Kindle, phone charger, and a Sudoku book. These guys were courteous, helpful, smart and friendly. While Goodyear down the road couldn't 1) fix my tire 2) get me the tire I needed if the fix couldn't be done, Discount Tire was able to do both. They ended up patching and plugging my tire and not charging me anything. Their waiting area is clean, they've got free bottled water and coffee and there's a view of the workshop to know when they're attending to your car. Couldn't ask for more. read more
