Worst customer service. Ever. From the moment we called they gave us a different quote than what we were charged in store. They also emailed me my invoice and at the bottom it stated that for safety the new tire would go in the rear well, they placed it on the front right-I don't have another hour and a half to get this fixed again but I don't understand why they would email this and not do it. When I picked up my vehicle they just said "here" and tossed the keys on the counter. My car was parked almost at the adjacent business building (collision center) when they usually bring the car out to you. Will not be returning and stay away if you care about your money (tires are most definitely not more economical here!!). The staff was all around 16-23. Made me feel like I was at a Chuck E. Cheese and I don't trust their experience on my wheels at all! The red car at the end of the parking lot is my vehicle. NOTE: I've been a discount tire customer all my life. I came here for brand new tires and boy am I excited they are on my vehicle!!! Discount Tires offers free repairs given that you buy the warranty which is great. This location is fairly convenient. They offer complimentary water bottles, the waiting area is clean, staff is courteous and they move as quick as they can. I came in during a peak time without an appointment and maybe waited 30 minutes at the most. Highly recommended. read more

A quick shout out to this location! I stopped by today for complimentary air check for my truck tires - the dash light was on saying I had low pressure. The tech checked all 4 tires and found that all of them were pretty close to normal. He told me he wanted to check the spare, since it was right there under the truck. I was pleasantly surprised by this suggestion! When he hooked the gauge up to it, it only had 12 pounds of pressure in it. The tech's willingness to be thorough likely made my next flat a minor inconvenience versus a difficult situation (flat tire with a flat spare would have been a bummer). I was referred here by a friend who is very particular about everything. My first trip for service this summer was prompt, efficient, courteous, pricing was fair and met all expectations. Most recently, I had an unexpected need for a single blown tire and the experience more than met expectations. Initially, the sales associate assisted with a warranty offer from the manufacturer due to cracking of the affected tire and its front partner, handling the transaction with the manufacturer without my involvement and making possible for me to purchase two tires, giving me a grateful sense of added safety. If I could give no stars I would. I payed almost $100 for them to put my existing tires on another set of wheels and balance them. Price isn't the issue. The issue I'm having is that I could loosen 4 lug nuts by hand and another 3 were cross threaded with an impact wrench. I've been 100% loyal to discount tire for the last years but I'm done, Last time I went I dropped off a trailer tire for repair that they said would take an hour or two, no big deal so I come back the next day and still not done, again no big deal I'll wait on it. I wait take it home and it's flat the next morning. Hey stuff happens so I'm not gonna to throw a fit. Next time I go for a lawn mower tire that they tell me they won't fix because it's too close to the sidewall, it's a lawn mower that goes maybe 5 mph but whatever. I've always overlooked small stuff because they were great until about 2015ish.. they are getting so bad of coming up with excuses of why they can't repair a tire, and want you to buy a new one. I was told today that I couldn't have a repair because it had a plug in the tire and that they no longer fix tires that have a plug in it. I hate to have to find another tire shop and 100% understand discount won't hurt one bit from losing me as a customer but I'm done with them.. read more

Got there and was checked in and told 30 minutes. 45 minutes later and still nothing so I talked to an employee and left. My advice is to never go here without an appointment. This Discount Tire location is one of, if not THE best I've been to all across TX! Barry McRay is the Store Manager and runs a great business (which unfortunately isn't the case at all locations) - ALL workers at this Keller location were professional over the phone and in person (spoke with Kerry & Perry), and they got me in & out quickly - full set of new tires in less than an hour, including swapping out my spare! On top of the great service by everyone I dealt with, the prices were great!!! Even though there are 2 other Discount Tire locations closer to where I live, I'll definitely go back to THIS Discount Tire location when I need tires for my other cars. This was a really great experience! I parked and got the stroller and my 2 year old out expecting to have to walk in, stand in line and check in. The service guy came out to me, took my information and brought me straight inside and got set up. I had a nail in my front passenger tire in the tread so I knew it could be fixed, expected to pay something since last time I went to NTB they charged me $50 to get the tire patched. Here it was free, service was super smooth and very friendly. Waiting ONLY 30 minutes which is soo fast! The technician that worked on my car was very respectful too! Walked me out and opened the door for my son since I had the stroller. Would definitely recommend to come here! I don't understand the bad reviews on here at all. I didn't catch everyone's name but the salespersons number on my ticket is 10. The technician in the shop was one of the only ones wearing a red shirt and working on vehicles. DT is generally very good service provider for tires but this location has gone down over the past two years. Seems to have high turnover rate for employees. I went there a month ago, right before pulling into the parking area I almost got side swiped by an employee driving a customers car! Then I was totally ignored waiting at the counter for service. I try this store every year or two because they are so close and I really like Discount Tire. Each time I am really disappointed at the lack of customer service, absent communication and a seeming total disregard. This last time was a web order with appointment. I show up at the appointed day and time to hear them say that the tires are not in. No call to let me know (as promised on the order form). Expect them later in the day and promised to call me with an update by noon. 2:30 - haven't heard from them so I call and hear that they no longer expect them to come in today. Again, no attempt to call. I called the store on North Beach, they not only had the tires in stock, honored the price (the web discount was done at the previous store and had expired) but they had me happily on the road in under an hour. Always under promise and over deliver on their wait times for me. I bought a lot of tires from them, always in line with industry price. What sets them apart is the fact their staff can balance tires much better than other locations. I have had them correct other shops mistakes by an ounce of weight or more before. I travel so have to go where I can but when I get back to Fort Worth end up most of the time going here so they can fix other Discount Tire bad balances. So disappointed that I came here... after telling me it would only be an hour it's now been an hour and a half I'm still sitting in the store... when I attempted to ask how much longer the guy got really annoyed like I was a problem not a customer.. not to mention while watching the guys play instead of work, one guy named Steve or Stephen thought it was funny to grab another employees crotch.... quite disgusting! He showed me what they had and didn't try to up-sell me on anything in particular. In and out of there in 45 min. While checking out, he mentioned 3 rims being bent and I told him I knew about that because my wife ran over a concrete median a while back. I formerly went to their competition...for which I had horrible service most of the time. I made an appointment yesterday, they reserved the 4-tires, I took my wife's Toyota Highlander in at 9 am, I was done and out in less than 30 minutes. I am not sure if they are the cheapest, but they are pretty fast. They did not try to up-sale me or super-size me, At first, they suggested a less expensive tire, but I opted, on my on to choose one of the BEST tires. The ones they suggested were good, but since I have little ones and my wife to worry about, I want the top of the line tire for their safety. Dropped my wheel off at discount Tire for a repair. My sales rep was Brandon. I was purchasing 4 new tires and also needed to have my bent wheel, repaired. He advised that it would take 24 hours to have it completed. I made a follow-up call to check the status of my wheel repair, and it wasn't sent off yet, according to Ian. He stated that he would make sure it would get sent off. Already started off wrong here. I called the next day and spoke with Ian again, and he mentioned that it was repaired but that the wheel incurred additional damage upon the attempt to repair the wheel. I was now annoyed. These wheels were over $3k wheels. Anyhow, went to their store to pick up my wheel, and spoke with Brandon this time. He stated to go get my wheel repaired by another party and to bring back the receipt to get a reimbursement. Even though I wasn't charged for the original "repair" done by Wheel Technologies. I had my wheel repaired correctly. And had to obviously pay extra to fix the additional damages made by their vendor, Wheel Technologies. I went back to the store and Brandon had me meet with Jeff. Jeff told me, "no problem. We will get you reimbursed". After waiting 30min, (yea, 30min for a reimbursement), Jeff came up to me and told me "sorry, we don't have enough cash to reimburse you, unfortunately. Everyone has been paying with cards lately. Come back Monday for your reimbursement". What a waste of a trip, YET AGAIN. Already 3 trips! Anyhow, called the store Monday this time, to see if Jeff was there. Ian answered and stated that Jeff was taking care of inventory and that he wouldn't be able to get on the phone as he was ordered to take care of that project by Store Manager Barry. So I mentioned to Ian who I was and how I was just there Saturday. Ian remembered who I was and began to argue with me about how I would not be getting reimbursed. Apparently Jeff lied to me, and stated that they didn't have enough funds to reimburse me, but that was not the case. Ian went on and told me that he wasn't sure why Jeff lied to me, and you should've just told me the truth, which was that they wanted to further investigate. That Barry, the store manager, Brandon, Jeff, and himself (Ian), apparently discussed the whole "wheel situation" and came to the conclusion that they would not be reimbursing me. At this point I was very outraged! I asked to speak to Barry, the store manager, and Ian chuckled over the phone. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I have been a loyal discount tire customer for the past 3 years. I went in to get 3 tires last week because 2 of my tires had blown out. They had made it clear that my rim was bent (which happens often because I drive mini cooper and it is low to the ground and Texas has many potholes) I paid for the tire and for the rim to be sent off. I asked them for a approximate time when my rim would be finished and they explained that it would probably be done in 2 days and that they would contact me when it was finished. I waited and it had been 6 days and no calls, and no voicemails from them. I decided to call and find out what was going on. The member of management I spoke to told me "that they had tried to get a hold of me but I did not answer". Which was already odd because they have had my phone number on file for the last 3 years and there was not even a voicemail. He then proceeded to explain to me that they had sent it to get repaired but that my rim was unrepairable and that he could help me with choosing a new rim and purchasing it from them. Which already was kind of odd because like I said earlier I have experience with rims being bent and I have had other rims bent worse and it was fixed. I then called 2 days later because I have other life things going on and I was busy. I spoke to, who I later found out was the store manager (Barry), I explained the situation and he agreed that they had sent it out, I asked him what the name of the company was that they send tires to and he told me it was "wheel technologies". I then made a phone call to Wheel technologies and asked if they had received a black mini cooper rim from the keller discount tire location within the last week or so. He told me that they never received that rim from that location. I then went up to the store to talk to Barry and when I arrived he started out with a kind of condescending attitude while I began explaining the situation. As soon as told him that his store tried to scam me into buying a new rim he was speechless and then started treating me nicer. He told me he was not aware that this was going on but I find it hard to believe that as a store manager you have zero idea what your other members of management are doing especially with a rim that has been in your possession for over week. This just sounds like bad management or that he was also in it as well. I got a full refund on everything I had paid for but I left with nothing extra except the inconvenience of having to deal with all of this and a waste of my time. He did offer to send the rim out for free but at this point I have lost all trust in this company. This is not the first time this has happened. The store in haslet tried to do a similar thing to my dad and honestly I really do not trust them to handle my business properly. Hopefully this mistreatment only extends to these 2 locations but I have lost trust in discount tire from here on out. Like I said earlier I have been a loyal customer for 3 years and it is sad that this is the treatment me and my family get from 2 different locations. You know, for an all male staff (for the most part) business, they really know how to have comfort and cleanliness incorporated into their shop. I was really surprised the most about their bathrooms honestly!! For a mother with a small child needing to use the diaper changer. They probably had the cleanest most sophisticated bathrooms and diaper changer with all the new little gadgets (diaper trash bags, diaper changing covers, the buckle actually worked) I was very impressed as a mother!! Their seats for waiting (it's usually an hour minimum wait here they have a ton of business 24/7 but so worth it in my opinion) are extremely comfortable. The complimentary coffee and water are life savers. And their floors are spotless! I felt no quarrel with letting my daughter stand next to me and play on the ground. Overall with services it was great. I wish it was a little faster because it's definitely difficult to entertain small children for so long in one spot but it's not too terrible. I'm hoping that they do a good job on the service on my tires since I am not familiar with what is right and wrong in that aspect. I'll have to update my review if I feel the need to comment on that aspect. Overall so far I would give them a strong 4 in rating! read more
