Went to another shop and my issue was fixed appropriately and the problem was solved. Everything Auto put in the WRONG part. We dropped off my car and my sons car for an oil change that was advertised at $15. He tried to convince me to get a synthetic oil change even though my manual stated that my car could take conventional oil as well. Unfortunately for my son I wasn't standing at the counter with him when he ordered his oil change so they had done the same thing to him. I was made aware of it about 10 minutes later (we had walked across the street) and we called them and he said it was too late to change it he had already put the oil in the car. We came back to discuss it and he was extremely demeaning and said he would be happy to put dirt in our engine if we wanted. I wasn't really sure what he was talking about but I wanted him to make it right for my son and he refused to do so and threaten to call the police on us so instead I called the police on him. The police informed us that a lot of the auto shops on the street have many complaints for unscrupulous behavior. Unfortunately, my son had to pay over $50 for his $15 oil change. The owner refused to do anything for us and even told us we were not welcome back (he didn't have anything to worry about here we weren't going to come back anyway). The woman at the counter said they could do the full synthetic oil change for $49.99. I asked how much for the synthetic blend, but was told they were out of that oil. When I said that I would just take the regular $15 oil change (I have gotten it here in the past, the total included tax & a Haz Mat fee), she told me that not only were they out of that too, but that they never intend to get it again. Since I was already there, & didn't have the time to look for another location (I figured that the supply chain issues were probably effecting everyone), I decided to get the full synthetic oil change. I tried to pay up front, but was told to wait until they were done. After about 30 minutes I was called up to pay. The bill was over $68. I reminded her of the $49.99 quote & she told me the rest was TAX. What, 40%sales tax?! I told her it was not possible. After going through the receipt on her computer, she said that I was charged $15.20 for an oil filter. There was never a filter charge in the past on the $15 oil change, & her quote was a complete change for $49.99 + tax. Now I realized why they wouldn't allow me to pay up front, as I would have said, "H*** No!" They would not reduce the charge to what she had quoted, not give me my keys until I paid in full. What a scam. The signfor the $15 oil change is just to get you in the door. Don't ever use this company. I had to give a star in order for this to be posted; otherwise I would give a negative! Do not use this shop!! Although we have been using this repair shop for a few years, I will NEVER go back. Earlier this week, I took my car in for a simple alignment after noticing a negative camber issue with the driver's rear tire. Upon arrival, I was told it by Tod was not going to be a simple alignment fix even before the car was put on the alignment machine. After further discussion, I was told he would need to charge me for the alignment in order to take the measurements but that would tell them where the issue lies and then we would start on resolving the reason the alignment was out. I consented (trusting in this place). After over an hour, I was shown a printout showing the measurements. I was then told my car did not have a camber adjustment (true but does NOT mean an adjustment cannot be made in order to set the tire in correct alignment) and there was no way to fix this without doing more research. I was then asked how long I had owned the car and did I know this car had been wrecked down the length of the driver's side? No... Tod then proceeds to tell me the paint job pattern was different from the driver's side to the passenger side (no it isn't) and therefore, the alignment would not be done since there had been a major impact causing the alignment to be out. I was however still responsible for the charge for the alignment of $95 but no adjustments made. The following day, Tod calls me telling me he had spoken with KIA and based on the information given, would need my car for a few more hours to take some more measurements to determine what was bent - mostly likely the strut or the frame. This would cost an additional $180 for his time of approximately 2 hours. I said I would get back with him. I then called another shop and scheduled an alignment for the following day since we wanted a second opinion prior to spending that much more money. The second shop spent 40 min correcting my alignment saying there were only minor adjustments needed. The printout showed all within specs and no issues noted for tire wear or indications the car had ever had an accident. I returned to Everything Auto to talk with Tod about a refund (new printout in hand). He was abrupt and "put out". He stabbed his finger on my printout and simply told me he was going to need my car for a few more hours to do the measurements over and did I have time or could I bring it back Tuesday? I told him I would but I have no intention of letting this place touch my car ever again. When I relayed this to my husband, he called and asked to speak to the owner (Tod had answered the phone). Tod's response was "In regards to what?" My husband simply repeated his question, not feeling it necessary to discuss with any one else. Tod repeated his question again of what the call was regarding. After a few more rounds of not giving my husband any information, Tod finally admits he is the owner. When my husband asked him why he didn't just say this in the first place, Tod's answer was because he didn't know who he was and why he was calling. The call was heated but again Tod tells my husband he will not do anything until he has my car again. NO! They will never touch any car of mine! They were willing to let me go through the process of spending hundreds to then spend thousands for something simply fixed with an alignment!! Take your car any where but here!! read more

WARNING! Liars and thief's! I took my 2016 Tacoma truck in for 4 new tires and to have my rotors turned and replace the brake pads on my front wheels. On arrival to pick up my truck I could easily see the rotors had not been turned and I had been charged. After bringing this to the attention of Tod "General Manager" he told me they did not have the correct tool to hold the rotor and they would send them out but would delay me picking up my truck a full day. After waiting the day I returned to pick up my truck and assumed they did what they said. After inspection the rotors were not turned. They LIED to me twice and charged for services not rendered. I am going to also open a formal complaint with the State Of Texas Attorney General's office and the BBB and any other form of WARNING the public of crooked business practices performed by companies like this. Please do not go to Tilden Car Care you will be very upset with the service. The repairmen are not accountable and if they make a mistake you will not be compensated. I paid to have an alignment and my tires balanced, it took a Road Trip to discover that neither of these things had been done. As soon as I reached 70MPH my car would shake like crazy, so about 1 mile into the ride I decided to call RoadSide in fear of breaking down on the HighWay...Roadside took my car to Honda, who performed an alignment and balanced my tires at no charge. I called the owner to Tiden Brad at 817-246-4100, and he asked why was I calling him and not the store manager, he doesn't interact with the day to day activites at his Car Centers. I had my front brake pads changed at Everything Auto. A day later however, my front left hubcap fell off while I was driving. My husband called to inquire why it might have fallen off and Todd offered to replace the hubcap, free of charge. I came in and it only took five minutes to pop it on, and I was on my way! took my 78 dodge maxi-van into everything auto to have my broken dipstick replaced! took in at 10:30 a.m. in october 2017. they told me my vehicle would be looked at in 15 minutes! then i called and they said i would have to call back later! later at about 3:30 pm they told me my vehicle had been in an accident in their shop! i immediately went over there with my wife and saw the front end of my camper van all smashed in and dented and paint chipped as well as my fender being dented into the body by the right light! todd jaggi, the owner/manager told me not to worry about anything and to leave my vehicle with them as the insurance company would not pay if i moved it! i left it for 8 days and called them and was told the insurance company finally did come over and looked at it! apparently the 80 thousand computer they had was run into also! i asked how did this happen and the mechanic told me that the throttle stuck and the brakes wouldn't stop the vehicle before hitting the back of their garage! never in the 37 years i've owned this vehicle has their ever been a problem with my throttle sticking so all i can think of is seeing the mechanic with the door open and looking down at the rack he was pulling it onto and hitting the wrong peddles! the owner/manager todd jaggi told me not to worry as he was going to take care of me! well, he took care of me by not giving me any information on who he was insured with and by not offering to pay to have my vehicle fixed! i will now have to take the proper steps to have this shop pay for the damage they did to my vehicle! read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! It's a long story with a month's worth of visits, but I took my honda element to them with a power steering leak. They replaced the pump for $320. It still leaked. I took it back and they said the main hose now had a leak...like an animal had been chewing on it (which it's been in my garage and our animal population is non-existent in there). Anyhoo, that was another $318. I drove it home and now it was making a whining noise when I turned. I was very frustrated. I called them back and said I wished I could get my money back. Oh course they don't do that, but said to bring it back in for them to look at it (my 3rd Saturday for them to have my car tied up). I took it back and now they said it was some kind of pulley. Really??? I was done. So I took it to a different place that a friend recommended and they are telling me they are going to have to replace the pump with a better quality pump. PLUS he said they put the wrong kind of power steering fluid in there that could damage my truck!!! So not only am I out the $638 from this escapade, I've now got to pay someone to fix their work plus fix what was really the issue in the first place (the rack and pinion). They caused more damage to the car, than what I brought it in for repairs. 1. A/C problem - Needs a new compressor, they said. Ok, go ahead and change it out. When done, No it was a relay and dryer that needed to be repaired. Ok, go ahead and do that. 2. Asked to fix a noise under the car. It's got the same noise as before it was brought in. 3. They broke the drive side power seat on the car. When questioned about it, they manually tried to force it forward to work. The manager or owner never called to discuss our concerns. We have 4 vehicles, that have been brought in. Our business with Tilden's is done. I'm not looking for a free ride, just be honest and respectful. The hunt is on for a new mechanic. read more

Looking for a bandaid for your car troubles? Then this is your shop. EVERY repair that I have had at Tilden's has required a subsequent repair at a different shop or was never repaired at all. They "fixed" my air conditioner and I had it repaired again a few months later. They "fixed" my turn signal and somehow its still broken. They "fixed" my window regulator and managed to ruin my professional tint job in the process. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt for too long and wasted thousands of dollars. Granted, there's never a wait and it takes only minutes for service to be done, however: the first oil change left my car leaking. When I returned to them to report it, the desk man said some sort of ring was broken and he didn't charge me to replace it. Is that a favor...that you changed my oil and noticed (or didn't) that the ring was broken--and chose not to inform me? So I took it in for the next oil change, again no wait and fast. However this time I drove to Iowa, parked my car in a friend's driveway, and drove back...for it to leak all over my garage. Upon contacting my Iowa friend, she was nice enough to say there wasn't much leak, but some. I took my car to an auto friend, who, as I watched TIGHTENED THE OIL CAP WITH A FULL QUARTER TURN. So how is it that there's no line of cars, giving the tech plenty of time, no need to rush, that he can't tighten an oil cap? Are you kidding me? Knock on wood that I didn't run into serious problems on that road trip! And here I was excited about bringing it in for a transmission fluid change. Are you kidding me?
