Had a low tire pressure light on my dash, went to their air check station on the side of store, they filled up and checked my pressure. Light was still on I drove back, they did a scan and turned out I had a bad tpms in one of my tires. I went back a few days later because they were busy but, once I dropped it off they barely took an hour. So far I've always received good service at this location. read more

Unfortunately a poor visit today with Aidan. Wasn't interested in helping me get my low tire pressure issue fixed. He suggested that it was due to a tire that had an issue rather than the fact that one tire had more air pressure than the other three. I asked if he could check the pressure of the tires just to see, and he said they were all the same without even physically checking. I ended up leaving and going to a small local tire shop where they checked and noticed one tire had 4 lbs more pressure than the others. Haven't had the tire light come on since. This weekend, I'll be getting two new tires for the fronts, but I'll go to the small tire shop that was willing to help me figure out the problem. Clean, neat, and organized. I like this discount tire because it's close to my home. The people are nice. They keep track of all the services they've done on the computer. Today, I wanted a tire rotation. They estimated maybe 30 minutes but got me out in like 10. I didn't mind the wait because I like the comfy chairs and nice natural reading light. They even lowered down the shade because they thought it might be too hot. So that was thoughtful of them. Last time I came here because I needed new tires. I'll continue coming back. read more

Brought one of my cars here for alignment and had such good service I brought another one of my cars for an alignment a few days later. I liked the fact that they are upfront with the service, they will check your alignment for free and if you need any adjustments it is $89. If it is something they cannot fix they will still give you the results of the test and there is still no charge. I made appointments for both vehicles and when I showed up the took my car right way, both times I was out of there in 45mins and had adjustments made on both cars. Never again will I set foot in this Discount Tire. Arrived at 2:40pm. Estimated text message completion 3:40pm. 3:42pm I go inside to get an update. Told I was up next. Go back to car. Watch another car pull in my supposed to be bay. Go back inside. Get a confirmation text my car was complete as I walked in?????? Get told (again I'm up next). Again another car pulls in my supposed to be bay. Get a new text arrival message and all the sudden that my car is ready to pull in the bay. What the hell???? Wow, so they totally skip me, don't admit it and wait on other customers that came in after me. They re-enter me into the system tripping a new arrival message and put me immediately to the front on the line. After watching 3 vehicles go ahead of me I done with this place. I'm not stupid. Important to note that I am a short very feminine young woman. My father was replacing my brakes and noticed a large chunk missing from the inside of my tire. I took my car in and waited almost an hour for them to come and say it was "cosmetic and perfectly fine to drive on" while my dad said he saw the wires of the inner lining. I told them that my dad was the one that saw it and insisted that it needed to be replaced and suddenly the tune changed to "we are so sorry ma'am. There is indeed a significant chunk missing from that tire and we have no idea how it was missed the first time." The moral of the story is that they take advantage of young women and just wanted to get me out of there so that they could make more money off someone else since I have a warranty. NEVER GOING TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!! read more

I've seen some not so favorable reviews for this particular store and others. I guess some people are harder to please. I've never had a bad experience at any of the discount tires I have been to. This one in Wataga is probably my favorite. I've been treated extremely well there. And from what I've seen while I was waiting, they treat all the customers well. While I was waiting is not saying much because I'm always in an out in no longer than 20-30 minutes max with an appointment. read more

I have always gone to discount tire to repairs flats or to buy new tires. My last visit to fix my flat was at this location & that one visit has completely changed my loyalty to Discount Tire. Ben was very nice over the phone and even sparked up conversation while checking the specs on my vehicle. He ended up telling me my tire was not repairable & continued to press me to buy a new tire from him for $170 after he knew I was a college student. He even said "want to call mom? I can take credit card over the phone." I ended up going to Hamm's Tires and asked them to put a used tire on for me. Without me mentioning anything about my tire being unrepairable. After 40 mins, the tech came and told me he checked out my tire and patched it! So THANK YOU Hamm's Tire - you have earned my business from here on out! Shame on you Discount Tire. read more

They're the biggest crooks ever stay away. Went there to get a tire repair an was told oh it's in a bad spot. We can sell you a new tire. Took it to a independent store an 10 minutes later I was walking out with the repair free of charge. This is not the first time this has happened to me at Discount Tire.
