We got our first tire replacements with Michelin DEFENDER LTX M/S and we're so glad to have found Bulmaro Padilla who helped us all through out our purchase process last June 2021. Prior to the day we have our tires replaced, we already came to check prices, comparing and matching them with Costco wherein at that time has a very good deal or tires on sale. We were offered a better deal but with a brand that we do not prefer. We thought about just taking Costco's offer but knowing Discount Tire's exceptional service at this location, we opted to just do it here regardless of the price. Good thing we came across Bulmaro who didn't underestimate our capability of buying suitable tires by not discouraging us with our preferred tire brand even the price is more than the ones that they are offering for sale. I walked in to this store and the entire staff greeted me. They took out the nail, checked and filled the air in the tires. They didn't charge me at all! I was on vacation with my family and one of the tires on my daughter's car started going flat. I filled it at a local gas station and within hours it was low again. I knew Discount did free flat repairs, so I googled and this Discount tire was the closest location. Unfortunately, the leak was from sidewall, so they couldn't repair. Luckily, the car had a full size spare. Unfortunately, the car is a 2001, which makes the original spare older than 10 years, so Discount said they couldn't swap it for me due to liability. I tell them no problem, I'll just swap it out myself. No biggie. I understand in today's sue happy world. Service guy say, no we're going to take care of you, just sit tight. A few minutes later, he comes back and tells me they have found a used tire that is almost the exact same size and they will mount it, balance it, and send me on my way, FOR FREE! (They didn't have used one that was the exact size) Folks, with that act, they have a new customer for life. read more

I was in a bind: I had a slow leak in my tire and my long working hours didn't provide an opportunity for me to get in to a tire store to have it fixed. I saw on Discount Tire's website that they close at 6 pm, which is the time I leave work. We're in our busy season, so it's frowned upon to leave work early if we don't have to. I called a couple of other places that closed later, and was told that I would have to bring my car in no later than two hours before closing time, even if I made an appointment. Finally, I called Discount Tire to see if I could just make an appointment for Saturday, hoping that I would be able to keep my tire inflated until then. Gino answered the phone, and in a friendly reassuring demeanor he immediately reduced the stress I'd been feeling by telling me they could take my car if I could get it there by 5:45 pm. I decided I could probably get approval to take enough time off work one day this week to get my car there by then. I tentatively made an appointment for the next day. Gino told me that if I was able to get off work in time today, I could come today instead - I could just give him a call when I was on my way. I mentioned that I was surprised he could take my car 15 minutes before closing. He told me that yes, they do close at 6:00 but they keep working until all the cars are finished. It turned out I was able to get off work early today after all. I called Gino to see if I could still get my car in today. He said of course, bring it by. So I made my way there and arrived literally minutes before 6:00. Gino greeted me cheerfully and almost immediately my car was added to the fray of others that were being worked on. In a surprisingly short amount of time, Gino came back to tell me my car was finished. He mentioned that I should keep an eye on my rear tires, as the tread was wearing close to the end of the safety margin. I had actually already been aware of that, and if I hadn't arrived there at the last minute I would have asked if they could put two new tires on. But once he mentioned it, I did ask if there was a way they could do it and again he cheerfully assured me that as long as the tires were in stock they could easily do it. He checked and the tires were in stock. However, they cost much less than I was expecting so I asked what the price would be on an upgrade. The price he quoted was acceptable, so I purchased two rear tires. Within minutes they were on my car and Gino was handing me the keys. As I got into my car and got ready to drive away, I noticed that the lights inside the store had dimmed and that I had been the last customer to leave. I am very thankful to have found a customer-focused establishment that has such a positive, cheerful can-do attitude that quickly delivers what it promises and was able to do everything I needed done in order to feel safe with the tires I was driving on. As long as I live in this area, I will be going here for all my car's tire needs. And I will recommend that others do the same. read more

A few days ago I went to the Vista, CA location for a flat tire. This place was way beyond my expectations of visiting a tire place. Bobby and the others were to tuned in to efficiently multi-tasking every detail for all the customers there! They were all so energetic, polite, spoke well and happy to be there that was also happy to be there getting a tire fixed of all things. I've been going to Discount Tire for over 21 years. I'm always impressed at how unwavering their service is, and this location is no exception! I brought my car to the dealership three times to recalibrate the TPMS sensors. They charged me a lot of money and never figured it out. I brought my car into Discount Tire and they fixed the issue in (no exaggeration) less than 60 seconds! The icing on the cake was they didn't even charge me! As a woman I always have some level of trepidation when taking my car in. I get this feeling that they're going to try to convince me to get more than I came for without ever really explaining in detail. Discount Tires put all that to ease RIGHT away. I wish I could remember the man's name who helped me, he was WONDERFUL! He was friendly and nice and though I was just buying tires he was direct and didn't try to sell me up. He asked what *I* was looking to get and what *I* needed. Unfortunately money is tight and my poor little tank of a car needs some work in addition to new tires so I had a very limited budget. After getting a price and telling him of my tanks woes he went in the back to see what he could. Low and behold there were some beautiful like-new tires with my name on them! I went to discount tire couple months ago to buy 4 new tires for my car. I paid 300 for my tires. They DID NOT give me what I paid for. They put one new tire and the other 3 was used. Last night when I was driving home my front right tire blow out. I had to change my tire by myself, lucky I didn't have any children with me in the car at that time. I was very upset. I've been using this Discount Tire location for years. But they still surprised me when I had a tire leak on another car. I had purchased these tires at Sears, yet Discount Tire fixed the flat for free! I was so positively impressed I decided to bring all my tire business here, and purchased the tire warranties. It really paid off recently when I got two slow leaks after driving in Arizona. Cactus spines in the sidewalls required replacement of 2 tires that had about 10,000 miles on them. The warranty covered it all less a $20 fee each for mounting and balancing. Then another flat happened in Washington state, but I was still able to use the warranty there with locations all the way to the Canadian border. There is no better tire store, in my opinion. read more
