Apparently this is a common issue but you would think they would check prior? Also was missing a valve cap and psi was overinflated on almost all tires. Once I was able to get back over there, management handled it amazingly, got it taken care of within 10 minutes and sent me on my way. I drove it for 45 minutes and the tire pressure would NOT read. They truly did everything they could to fix it, even called the dealership. It ended up showing hours later. Regardless, day from hell dealing with all of this. Everything should've been checked in the first place but I can say if you DO have a problem, management is very helpful and gets it taken care of.

I found the mechanics trustworthy and reliable, until I went for my second oil change. When I went in this past week, I was told that I had so many things wrong with my car (which I have only had for a year and had a full inspection and service at the time of purchase) and the cost was ungodly. I was told I have multiple issues with my car that is threatening to my car/safety. I was told that if I did not make a $700 repair (alongside other repairs) to my car, I could be at risk of my car stopping movement immediately and being in significant danger. After a diagnosis like this (about $1400 out of pocket in repairs) I naturally, got a second opinion from a family friend who actually used to work at this establishment. He confirmed my suspicion and told me that they are scamming me out of money and using scare tactics to get me to spend/fix more when it's not necessary. I didn't even believe him at first, as I was told 2 very different things, so I took my car (a Honda civic) to Hare Honda in Avon where I got a third opinion from someone who specializes in these cars, who also confirmed this. I'm extremely disappointed and concerned with the amount of money they were trying to charge me, telling me that my safety is at risk driving my vehicle. I have had mechanics try and up charge me before, which is normal, but NEVER like this. Clearly the new ownership they are under is for the worse. I would advise you to stay away from them, as I don't even trust them to change my oil now. DO NOT trust anything they tell you- they are money hungry and trying to scam you out of money by choosing to use scare tactics! I called tires plus and Jake offered to squeeze us in right before closing. There was sidewall damage so the tire couldn't be patched. Jake's team stayed late so we wouldn't have to spend the night in town. Amazingly we had four new tires installed and we are back on the road back by 7:20. This was an exceptional customer experience and we would highly recommend Jake and his team at the Plainfield Indiana tires plus location. We can't thank you guys enough for taking your customers!

I took my truck here for an oil change & tire rotation. I scheduled the service & was quoted $103 &…read morechange. Next day I brought it in for the service & the charge had changed to $167 & change. I still had them do the service. Then when I drove my truck after picking it up, the oil pressure guage stayed pinned to the top & stays that way now when the truck is running. Turns out the oil pressure sensor quit working during/after they did the oil change. When I took it back to them to fix what broke on their watch, they said it would cost me $300 + tax for them to fix it. They wouldn't work with me on price. I've owned GM's my whole life & never had this problem. I normally change my own oil but due to a hand injury and surgery I needed it done by a shop and Tires Plus is less than a 1/2 mile from my house. So that's where I took it. My mistake in hindsight. They have an overall 2 star rating for a reason I guess. I'm definitely far from a satisfied customer. I called corporate & filed a claim, they're supposed to get back to me within 48 hours with a solution. We'll see. Also while I was waiting a customer came in who had just had their brakes done & they were complaining that their brakes were going to the floor & not stopping the vehicle. After going back and forth for over a MONTH, him taking DAYS to respond to me, and rescheduling my appointment twice, and THEN offering to return my refund that I gave him IN THE BEGINNING...and never returning it.... I am finally having to resort to warning people to be cautious. Josh cancelled my appointment twice, and took days to respond, dragging this entire process out. He kept asking for longer time to get the deposit back to me (he kept changing my appointment, so I just wanted to be done with it). Then responded to me in such a manner that left me hurt and disappointed. He accused me of not offering him help in a time of need and not only insulted me, but gaslighted me by pretending that me requesting my deposit back for a service that was never even started was the worst thing that could happen to him, and oh my god how could I. I supported Josh from the very beginning, and he treated me like garbage. He made excuses like he had been backed up by 120 messages (LOL), and then bragged about having vehicles pay upwards of $1000 for his services, but couldn't give me back my $65?? He insulted me in numerous ways, and maybe $65 isn't a lot for him (he tried to make it seem that way, but in reality he spent my deposit and couldn't give it back), but it is a lot for me. The final straw for me was texting him the day after he promised my deposit back and asking him when I could get it, since he has already proven multiple times he can't be trusted with a time frame. I got no response and that evening I went to his FB page (we were actual FB friends, AND I was following his business page) and he had blocked me from both of his pages. I have screenshots of how I noticed he blocked me. He told me he didn't block me and that we were never FB friends (which was a lie). I went back to see and he suddenly unblocked me but I still cannot comment or do anything on his business page. I have proof of him commenting on my new car photo -- which he would have had to be my friend on FB to leave. Anyway. The dude lied and all I wanted was my money back. Sure, Josh does an amazing job (I have seen his pictures for a long time) and I truly wanted to support him. But you cannot do your customers this way, and because I am still out my $65 (His final promise to get my money back to me was Sunday the 21st... it's the 26th) I don't have a choice. PLEASE READ THROUGH THESE SCREENSHOTS before giving your money to someone who refuses to follow through with promises and treats customers in this manner.
