I cannot rave about this location enough! I came out to a flat tire on my way to work. I got there before they opened, so there were only a few people in front of me. The gentleman who helped me was so friendly and professional, and was more concerned about seeing if the tire just needed repair. Unfortunately, it was damaged, but hey this stuff happens with cars. He was able to find an exact match, and I was out of there within 30 minutes. Now this place is obviously pretty popular because the line formed fast. I was relieved to see all of the good reviews, and now I see why. One of the techs even took the time to point out that my car did not have a spare tire. Good to know. We had a car towed to this store due to a flat. We got a call from a friendly employee who used reassuring words like "let see what we can do for you" and how we can help you out. He kindly researched to see if we had protect, alas we didn't. He then proceeded to tell us that a new tire would be $150. My husband asked what is wrong with the tire. He replied with "its flat". We refrained from replying with "duh". Because after all that is why we had it towed. He then let us know they havent even inspected the tire yet. My husband insisted they see what is wrong with it. If it's of now would be a much deeper fix than a brand-new tire. When I got to the shop the car was still in the parking lot. It hadn't been looked at yet. When they finally did look at itit was a mail that had punctured the tire. So they fixed it, free of charge. My biggest qualm with them is that they were ready to sell us a new tire without first saying what was wrong with the first tire. read more

If you want to purchase an item that you don't need them to install, they require a debit card or cash, and not a credit card. Because of fraud. I don't know how or why someone would commit fraud on $50 worth of car parts, but that's their "policy". They also had to go out and check my license plate and put that in the system. For $50 car part that they weren't installing. Because, you know, fraud. What?? Inane policy. Not shown anywhere including in the fine print on their website. And the manager couldn't care less. So this is about the Manager not the company but maybe it should be? I have been a DT customer for YEARS. I get everything from them on all cars in my extended family. That being said it is amazing how little my years of loyalty mean to this particular manager. I love the service I get from pretty much everyone but every time this manager can he sticks it to people. Today I got a flat.....unexpected. I took it to the first DT I could find and the manager that I have always noticed being a jerk was the new manager at THIS location. Bummer for me but the new kid that helped me was doing everything right..... so good for me UNTIL he needed approval to give me more than $25 for a $200 tire DT had installed recently installed since I was getting 4 NEW TIRES from them today! He quickly said no and didn't have the guts to tell me why or even address me and I was all but 2 feet from him when he denied the kid. Keep in mind everyone working at DT agrees this is "basically a brand new tire" their words...... Keep in mind also that I got a whopping 10K miles? from the tires that were on the car which I got from them......He cares none and walks off. What a jerk but that is par for the course for this guy. I would imagine the store I usually go to, that is in a nicer part of town, got tired of his ACT and booted him. Just my bad luck to land in his lap at this store. Make no mistake, the people at THIS location seemed legit and pretty awesome....I cant imagine they were all too happy to get Barry. He walks around looking angry, no personality, no customer service......just walks around like a jerk. Congrat's DT for being so good that I stay with you regardless of this guy. I should also point out that as good as DT is, they still pull the "the lug-nuts are stripped" routine to get you for another $45. They did the same thing the last time I got tires.....they should update their notes. I only use DT so if its stripped......they did it so why would I be asked to pay? My girlfriend went to get her front tires replace, they called her and told her one of her rim was bent and giving all these information about how this is mess up her suspension and what not. She's not that knowledgeable with car so she handed me the phone, I spoke to them and I was told that one of the rear tire was bent and they try to sell me a full set of rims from their store. I decline their offered. Took my girlfriend back to the shop so she can pick up her car, she was told that both of her front rims were bent. Apparently both of the front and rear rims are bent now and nobody know what the hell is going on. We always go to discount tires for service but that's going to change. Of course I come out to my Jeep and there is a large screw in my tire. That's my luck. I was able to get over to Discount Tire and get my tire patched after a 3 hour wait with a very sick 8 month old in 97 degree heat. When I got my Jeep back, the tire pressure was still low. I ask an employee (older militant looking male) who was driving by with another customer vehicle if my tire can have more air (it was at 33 psi and needs to be a 36psi). He snaps! States "Ma'am you drive a Jeep Dodge Chrysler. They won't reset until you drive at least 20mph. I wish I had a magic button to reset your tire pressure but I don't. You'll just have to drive it!" And he drives off. Concerned, I call my husband and he said it's probably true. So I drive home. It's been a week now and my tire pressure is still low. I'm not happy about it. I have had several cars with Discount Tire, and this is the first time I have been snapped at. I won't return to this Discount Tire and will stick to my Discount Tire on my side of town. read more

I've always had problems with discount tire but this time it was the absolute WORSE service I had. They promised me over the phone that they would help me out and change my tires on my car (I had bought the tires online and made sure they knew of that) and when spent over $200 dollars towing the car there I got there the guy Anthony refused to change them because they weren't their tires. Wanted me to buy their tires and spend more money...That's all they cared for. If you want to go for a rip-off then I would recommend this place. Went to get new tires. Service was excellent, even though it was raining and I came literally 15mins before they closed, they gladly helped me out. There was a issue with the tires I got. It was wasn't really anyone's fault, only after rolling on them a while did the issue arise. I called Discount Tire, Patrick the employee who helped me out initially, immediately set out to make it right. Now not even a week later, he got the right tires ordered and had me on my way. I really appreciate Patrick taking care of me, throughout the whole process, there was never a hint of animosity, all he wanted was to make it right. 1st visit here [Jun 2016], third visit to company to get tires. Arrived Fri afternoon and it was very busy with lots of customers. I was greeted promptly and got a new tire ordered. Due to the crowd I waited for 1 1/2 hrs to have one tire put on. If you made an appointment and/or went on less busy day it might have been a shorter wait. The guys in the shop were working hard and fast to get customers in/out. Money-wise I got a pro-rated discount on this tire purchase since the one being replaced didn't last as long as advertised. Keep your paperwork although they do have you recorded in their computer. UPDATE Apr 2017. Return visit to get flat tire fixed. Greeted before I got to front door very prompt service. Timing is everything. Mid-week in afternoon with not too many customers. I was in and out in less than 30 min with a new tire since the prior one couldn't be fixed. And I had a valid warranty from a previous purchase so the new tire was very inexpensive. Added 5th star. UPDATE Oct 2017. I made an appointment to take advantage of free tire rotation/wheel balance. Order number 589633753. I ordered four tires on their website on 7/9/2020. My appointment time was for today, 7/15/2020. I had to apply for their financing through Synchrony Bank. When I arrived for my appointment, they let me know that they did NOT have the tires. They tried to offer me a tire with lower mileage warranty for the same price. I obviously rejected their offer. I've already paid $577.92 for the tires on my card. I told them to cancel the order, but the charge never reversed. I had to file a dispute with Sync Bank. I've bought a lot of tires from discount in the past. The last set I bought will probably be the last. read more

Experience has been excellent every time. I went again today and had the pleasure to talk to Todd R Eaddy. He was great as always in explaining that the tires on my car were down to zero tread and that I need tires right away. He confirmed that if I purchase 4 tire, I would get a 70 dollar rebate from Michelin as I had read on their web site. I was charged wrong he fixed it and got the tires from another store got them installed all before the close for the day. 4 Tires replace and a job well done by the staff. He needs a reality check that customers are the only reason he is being compensated unless he owns that Discount tire location. This location does not provide any insight on what actions they performed, they just call your name, tell you "you are all set" and on to the next car.
