Dylan I believe possibly a manager was great, my tire model wasn't easy to find and he called all over until he finally tracked one down making it so I didn't have to buy all new tires on a brand new car. He treated me great both times I came in and was so nice to every customer he worked with. I will come back to this location simply because of how great I was treated. read more

i am usually a fan of DT but this is the worst location ever! They ignore you if you drive up for an air check. Quoted me prices for tires that don't even fit my vehicle while refusing to acknowledge the warranty on the tires I had bought 12 months earlier. Courteous even when busy. Took the time to contact fleet services to authorize a winter tire change over. Lobby was packed, they were moving fast, but I never felt rushed or pressured. They even helped a guy fix a trailer tire valve stem for free. Always have had great service here, since the 90's read more

Went to this location today because I had a flat tire. I was told the tire could not be fixed due to lack of tread, which is totally fine. The guy told me, a woman FYI, that he could sell me a used tire to get me home 'safe' for $115 best offer and a set of four new tires for $406 a piece, best offer. I left and drove home to Lakewood on my almost flat spare tire because that's ridiculous. My father, a man FYI, took my same exact car to the location on Colfax where he always receives top notch service and was told he could get four brand new tires, great for driving in the snow, for $156 a piece. That is a difference of $250 PER TIRE from what I was told at this location was their 'best price'. Thanks but no thanks. Don't know if that was discrimination based on the fact I'm a woman and must be too dumb to know better or if that is just general practice at this location. Either way, not a good look. read more

Today I visited the Colorado Discount Tire off of Wadsworth and 92nd Ave. (7401 W. 92nd Ave.). I got there at approximately 5:30 pm. I waited in line until 5:50 when everyone who was "picking up" got pushed in front of me. I was told by an associate that they were not "taking any more service" at the time. I asked if they could come out to my car to look at a tire (I was having a problem with a tire I had gotten at a different Discount Tire) and he shook his head (no). I asked why he allowed me to wait in line and he said, "sorry we are not taking any more service." I was amazed as I was likely going to order another tire and set an appointment to get it put on. What a joke! Whey did I have to wait in line for so long if they WEREN"T going to help me??? This place is the WORST. read more

Excellent service! I arrived to the store around 5:30pm knowing that they close at 6:00pm. Not only did they attempt to patch my flat tire but when it was not fixable they stayed late to put new tires on my car. I did not feel that they were trying to sell me the most expensive tire but helping me look for a safe and affordable option. I would definitely recommend this store! read more

I've never had a problem here. Anybody that knows anything knows that there's going to be a long wait during the after work hours or on weekends so why bother coming here and complaining about it? They have competitive prices and a huge selection not to mention the free repair and rotation. I will continue to buy tires from this location. I just went in to have my tires changed out to my winter tires. They estimated the time it would take accurately. They took a look at both sets of tires (which are both on their 2nd season this year) and let me know they were in great shape. No pushy sales, just courteous, respectful, and polite. read more

I've bought tires at Discount Tire for over 25 years for 2 cars. That alone says a lot. However I do have one huge issue with them on how they manage customers --first come first serve--always. Seems ok-but I have my winter/summer tires mounted on wheels, only requiring the WHEELS swapped out. I have been waiting for over 2 hours. Luckily they close at 6:00. I should have come in at 5:45 to cut the wait. It is equal to waiting in a 3-hour line at the grocery -in order to buy the ONE item, paid with a credit card (fast) that is absolutely needed. Grocers have figured out a fast lane--in/out--in your way. Discount obviously discourages any customer service when not actually buying new tires. I did pay for the rotate, etc. It wasn't free--and now see how expensive that non-service can be. read more

Discount Tire was amazing. I went in on a Saturday that the busiest time. I was helped quickly. They were about to find a used tire so I did not have to buy 4 new tires. Bob the employee was helpful, informative and professional. They quoted me an hour and half and I was out of there in 35 minutes. I will be back and I will recommend them to others! read more

Had a flat. Simple thing, right? But lead to huge frustrations. Waiting time was grossly misunderestimated, leading to significant work problem. Tire was said to need replacement. Not sure about that, but let's give them the benefit of the doubt. New tire was supposed to be in in 4 days. No call, so called them two days after that. "Not in yet, we'll call". OK. No call, so called several days later. "Oh sure, it's been here several days". Oh, thanks for such swell service. NOT. Couldn't drive car for many extra days. Luckily plenty of good alternatives to these marginally competent folks. read more

I arrived at Discount Tire a little after 4 p.m. I let the salesperson know that I had a flat, and needed my Air pressure checked on the other tires. We had Just purchased the tires at the end of July 2015 and they seem to be going low. The salesperson let me know that it was a couple of hours (meaning 2 hours). I waited patiently. I finally decided to ask after seeing several people come in and only wait about 30 minutes. I went up to the desk, said to the salesperson, can you tell me how much longer before my car will be done? He says in joking manner, 10 more hours! I replied not funny considering I need to pick up my kids and I've been here since 4 p.m. He then looks my car up and informs me that it will be another 45 minutes.That there are still 8 cars in front of me. I said, seems a little excessive for a flat tire. I need to pick up my kids. He then says he would be more then happy to return my keys and I can come back when I can wait. I then said it's a flat tire and I need to take my kids to school in the morning. All I kept thinking was, is Discount Tire going to be held liable if something were to go wrong while I was driving? Also, Discount Tire was NOT pay the $1.00 a minute after 6 p.m of daycare for all 4 of my children which comes out to $4.00 a minute! Any excuse he could give me he did! This place has no customer service abilities.The employees however, have more then enough time to grab a snack, take a bathroom break and conversation. I thought they closed at 6 p.m. I did not leave until 6:30 p.m They were still open. They did not care about me as a customer. They get paid to be there by the hour. I however do not. In fact I paid them for tires and they cost me money in daycare tonight. read more

I thought my experience was very honest here. I had been to another Discount Tire store and they told me i IMMEDIATELY had to replace my bad tires. When I came there for a tire repair, they said, probably this summer would be appropriate, and that the tires were not THAT bad but a budget for new ones was a good idea. I would have loved them to have cleaned the blue soap off my white lettering prior to returning my vehicle to me. They will not get my future business, nor a preferred referral from me. read more

A bunch of crooks. I bought all four new tires and rims from this location back in December. A few months later, one of my tires went flat. I went back, so they could honor the warranty I bought from them. They could not find me in their system and I did not keep the receipt, so the warranty was voided. I paid full price for a new tire and warranty. I bought the warranty again because I thought maybe since I changed my phone number they couldn't pull up my file (benefit of the doubt). Again last Thursday, the same tire went flat. I called them on Friday, and told them the situation and wanted to be sure the warranty would cover me which they assured me they could get it taken care of. Once again, they could not pull me up on their system, but they said it was fine they would take a look. One of their employees looked at my car and said, "It looks like we only replaced the back tires." He also looked at the flat tire I gave him from my trunk and said, "This doesn't look like one of our tires and even if it was, the warrantee wouldn't be able to cover it because the tire went flat due to your car being out of alignment." It made sense what he had told me at the time, so I trusted him and we went back inside. I asked to have the tire replaced and he insisted that I needed to get two new front tires because it would be safer due to my cars condition. He offered to replace the other tire with a lightly used tire for next to nothing so I accepted. This time, I paid $84 without a warranty and noticed they did not offer a receipt. My three year old and I waited about three hours in their waiting room until my car was finished. We walked out to my car to find that all four of my tires have been replaced without my consent. They replaced my new back tires with bald oversized used tires. My back tires now rub on my fenders especially when I make turns. At the time, I was in such disbelief that I just left. Knowing that after everything they stole my tires and left me to drive my kids around in a now unsafe vehicle for winter. There was nothing I could do. If I would have complained, only God knows what else they would have done. Do not trust these people you and your family are better off going somewhere else. read more

I've been going to Discount Tire since I started driving (19 years ago) but will no longer be supporting this company. I had to get 4 new tires 16 months ago that cost about $750 total. Fine, at least they were under warranty. I was told if anything happened they would be fixed or replaced. Then I got a nail in one of the tires last week. They said they couldn't fix it because of it's placement...and the tires I bought are no longer being manufactured...and the closest tire to it is out of stock so I'm just gonna have to buy 4 new tires. AGAIN. A chain as big as Discount Tire could have come up with a better solution than that. The employee helping me (Cory or Cody, I can't remember) clearly had "selling tires" as his only priority. Then, when my car was ready to be picked up (this was after 6pm) I asked how long someone was going to be there, knowing that I would have to get a lyft and it might take a little while. His only response was that I needed to get there "as soon as possible." I'm sure there are better employees there but this kid should NOT be in customer service and has just lost this company a loyal customer. On the plus side, my lyft driver gave me a great recommendation for a local tire company. Go local! Big chains don't give a damn about you! read more

Had an ok experience last year, then a really bad one last week, and witnessed an elderly gentleman experience almost my same issue while I was waiting in their lobby. Here's the deal: I was shopping for a better grade of tires for my sport coupe as I wasn't happy with the last pair I got (my choice, my fault), which were still essentially new, and on my front (I was shopping for rear replacements). The fronts were done last year at this same store. The rear tires the manager recommended were a completely different grade/tread pattern/etc, and were incompatible with my front tires. Not only was I not warned when asking for a recommendation but neither was I warned when I had the tires installed. After 2 weeks of significant under-steering problems and body sway at 30+ mph, I called my dealer to ask what the problem could be. My vehicle is not all wheel drive, but when I told him I started having the problems immediately after getting the rears replaced he said it's very likely an issue with mismatching tires. I called Discount and spoke to a different manager asking if he would recommend the rear tire replacement that was done with the fronts I had and he said absolutely not, for the very reasons why I was experiencing. When I told him what had happened, he apologized and asked if I would be willing to get the fronts replaced with a 'discount'. I said yes (frankly I had been considering getting the fronts replaced anyway as I wasn't happy with them in general as I said). Well, the 'deal' was giving 30% in credit for the existing fronts (which had only 7000 miles on them). If I had purchased the 4 tires together, I would have gotten a Discount Tire coupon for the same amount of money that was given to me for my trade ins, and who knows whether or not they would have given me any credit for the fronts on top of that. As I said at the beginning, the elderly gentleman that was standing not 6 feet from where I was sitting while waiting for my new fronts to be put on was told AFTER the tires had been put on his car by the manager that they actually did NOT recommend him driving with the configuration on his car (again because of mismatching tires, this time on an all-wheel drive car), which of course you can imagine got him very very angry. He felt he was being taken advantage of after 5 minutes of getting more and more upset he finally asked to have his car put back the way it was as he wanted to go somewhere else, and the manager at that point walked him outside to try to further explain himself, at which point I heard no more. What his resolution was, I don't know. I am starting to question whether or not my situation was an honest mistake or if there was something else going on. read more
