10/10! This place should be mainstream. I've eaten at many Mediterranean locations. There is nothing like Gotta Eatta Pita. I ordered a shawarma (chicken) stuffed pita. I got all the fixings, excluding the pickles and eggplant. It was an explosion of flavor. I was impressed at 1st bite. Definitely a place to go if you want something hearty, filling and flavorful.

I got the half and half bowl. The flavors were really delicious. The eggplant, Israeli couscous and schug were amazing. My only problem was the temperature of the items. Falafel was warm, chicken shawarma was room temperature, and eggplant was cold. I would have preferred them hot. It's not easy to get me to eat cold chicken, but this was flavored so well that I actually ate it all and enjoyed it. I loved that it was light and healthy. This is a big, airy cafe with plenty of indoor and outside seating.

There you have it. No extra portions on items, including non-meat choices. Bummer because the standard bowl comes out at around $20. Very disappointing, and confirmed by the business owner herself. Would much rather settle for chipotle now.. at the very least for these prices would be to allow for extra servings of items. Makes sense why they're moving to that smaller location next door

Tried the half & half bowl -- generous portion, fair price, enough for two! A bit too heavy on the sauce. Decent overall, but I've had better, more flavorful shawarma. Could use a more authentic touch.

If you love Mediterranean food, Gotta Eatta Pita is a must-eat! It is a Subway-style, pick-your-toppings stuffed pita and pita bowl fast casual chain that hits every taste bud just right. You can get creative and custom tailor your meal to your every whim. I've personally been coming to this location for four years, but my husband has been a fan for far longer. When we began dating, he felt that I *needed* to try it, but I'd been to other pita shops in the past that underwhelmed me (Pita Pit comes to mind as a so-so, meh option). It wasn't until I tried it myself that I became a true believer - because actually tasting truly is believing here. If you're looking for a laid-back date spot with actual wood tables + booths and plenty of space to stretch your wings, this is definitely the spot to go. People often do takeout here so the tables are wide open for some relaxing get-to-know-ya's. Service is always good here and my orders are almost always correct. Unlike certain chains (coughcough CHIPOTLE coughcough) the quality and portions don't vary depending on whether you order ahead or order in-store, so you can feel confident that you'll get the same quality + quantity even when you preorder on the web. The food is so fresh - e.g. the pitas are always very fluffy and taste like they were baked today. The chicken is *very* well marinated and you have the option to put a base of greens, Israeli cous cous, or both. The mix of toppings and flavors are really what sets this place apart from other lackluster pita shops. Namely, you can add any combination of hummus, a special spicy sauce called s'hug, tomato + cucumber salad, tabbouleh, cabbage, marinated eggplant, Mediterranean pickles, kalamata olives, feta, and roasted peppers. Plus the best part is that every entree is actually two to three meals. Two for my husband but three for me since I always get an overly stuffed bowl with a pita on the side. Something that might seem unimportant, but I think is a huge bonus, is the variety of drink options - everything from standard fountain sodas, pure leaf iced tea, stubborn sodas, Martinelli's apple juice, sparkling waters, life water, to even Starbucks bottled frappuccinos. The baklava is also pretty good - crunchy top layer with a nice taste of honey. Overall one of our favorite fast casual places of all time.

One of the best spots for lunch in Pleasanton! The food, the portions, and the value of this place is amazing!! The bowl can feed 2-3 people with how much they give you. The falafel is freshly made and perfectly crispy. Their chicken is so flavorful. Every salad is great and the eggplant is to die for. The workers are always so nice and generous. Inside is very clean with lots of seating! I recommend this spot for everyone!!

Stopped by for a half and half bowl (falafel and chicken shawarma). It was pretty good, with plenty of ingredients like vegetables, eggplant, hummus, some spicy sauce. The bowl comes over a bed of mixed greens and couscous. I was very full after my meal. Plenty of sit down spaces inside.

This place is perfect for a quick and healthy bite! You pick your selections, and they prepare it right in front of you. I tried their chicken shawarma bowl, and they really load it up! If you enjoy spicy food, ask for the green sauce (can't remember the name), it's amazing! There's plenty of seating space, and the service is fast and friendly too!

Easily two meals in one bowl! Food There's a variety of menu options ranging from pita wraps to bowls. It's a "build-your-own" concept with a variety of fresh vegetables, toppings, hummus, couscous, tahini, falafels, chicken, eggplant, etc. The prices start from $10.99+ and there are party platters available. If you sign up for rewards, there are occasional coupons and discounts offered throughout the year. The menu accommodates various dietary restrictions such as keto, pescatarian, vegetarian, etc. Highly recommend getting the Half and Half or Shawarma bowls. The portions are very generous and can easily be shared or eaten across two meals. Location Plenty of parking and easily accessible from the 580 freeway.

Years have gone by and this place still holds up. This is the only place (that I know of) that you can get Israeli couscous in a fast food setting. It's so delicious and incredibly healthy, you can feel your body heal from eating all the healthy things they add. There's ~4 different sides of vegetables you can add and I generally load my bowl up with everything that is included in the base price. I wish they had a location in the South Bay (I think they did at one point, but it may have closed down?). This location in particular is definitely different though. The portions is just the way I like it. This is the kind of food that can sustain you the entire day, it's just jam packed with so many nutrients and fiber to hold you up. Their Baklava is decent too, though I try not to indulge too much.

Stuffed doesn't even describe what I am after eating this entire thing!! Highly recommend getting all the fixings!! Especially the spicy hummus!! Chefs kiss!! The staff was very friendly and gave healing helpings of everything!! Worth the price!! Will absolutely be back.. very very soon!!

Gotta Eatta Pita, you make a corporate girl's lunch dreams come true! GEP is like Chipotle to Mexican food - maybe it's not the most authentic, but it's sought out in its own right, and pretty dang healthy too. Hit: I opt for the falafel bowl because it ends up being so much food that I now have dinner or an afternoon snack! Miss: unlike most other BYO bowl places, there is no list of options or labels on the windows, making it difficult to understand what all of the sauces/sides are. Maybe do some research or order ahead if you're not familiar with Mediterranean food!!

We really enjoy Main St. in Pleasanton and hadn't tried Elia yet so we decided to make a reservation and come here on a Monday evening. This restaurant is gorgeous! It's very charming yet fancy at the same time. When we arrived, we were seated immediately. To be fair, it was a slow Monday and there was plenty of seating. We opted to sit outside due to the nice weather. They brought us waters and bread to get started which I appreciated. For drinks, my wife went with the Cab and I chose an old fashioned. Both came out promptly. For appetizer's, keep in mind they're not very large portions and can take a bit to come out. I suggest 1 appetizer will be enough for two people. Order more than you think you need if you're hungry or it's a larger party. Since it was later in the day, we both chose salads for our entrees. They were delicious! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Our server and service was great- we were checked up on just enough but not too much. Our server was soft spoken, friendly and efficient. I always enjoy working with a server who is professional, courteous and not overly invasive. Not only do I plan on coming back, I'm going to be telling all my friends and family about Elia. Will definitely be doing a birthday or two here in the near future.

It felt casual but professional. Quieter on a Wednesday, but a nice stop for that Mediterranean fix with a bit of class. Enjoy.

It was simple and salty which was a nice way to start dinner when our drinks arrived. I had a hibiscus martini which was cute and refreshing and paired lovely with the saltiness of the dip ! It was delicious! Would order again. We started off with appetizers. We ordered the Kofte which were Turkish meatballs with tomato sauce. The meatballs were flavorful and juicy. The sauce had a slight kick to it which I enjoyed. I would just request they add more sauce next time. We also had the Greek dip trio which was hummus, tzatziki and babaganoush with pita bread. The platter was generous and I really loved that each dip was distinct from one another. We had plenty leftover so we requested it to go along with extra pita bread! As an entree I ordered the Talas dish. I wasn't sure what to expect but when the dish arrived I was surprised. It was a flaky pastry with a chicken/vegetable stuffing on a curry sauce topped with raisins and apple slices. This was a different yet intriguing combination. At first bite into the pastry, I felt the filling was salty but once you combine it with the curry sauce and apple all the flavors are brought out together. The curry was mild so the combination of it with the salty filling along with the slight sweetness of the apple and raisins all balanced each other out. I'm glad I tried something different and out of my comfort zone! I really enjoyed the dish and the variety of flavors it brought out. We came in on a Friday evening and although they were busy, the waitress and staff were all polite and attentive . It was pleasant to feel welcomed and they were all sweet. I look forward to coming back!
