I go to school in the area and i was yelping eyebrow services nearby and Diva Salon came up, I saw many people say great things about Tam and post pictures of the before and after and said YES just what i need. I made a same day appointment walked in and she sat me down asked me how i wanted them i said pointed for an arch she waxed, used scissors and tweezers! I love the way they came out unfortunately my eyebrows have grown out a bit since and for whatever reason I cannot maintain the perfect arch she gave me. So I guess I'll be heading back soon! Price was steep in some peoples opinion but $18 was worth it a nice tip was included on top of that because i was highly satisfied. I will return when i get bushy again, thank you Tam! read more

Tam keeps my eyebrows on point. She is my eyebrow whisperer! I am seriously picky when it comes to my eyebrows I would literally would drive to Temecula for my last lady... she was THAT good. Well... if Tam moved to Temecula I would drive there for her too.... in 5pm traffic... she is that good. From the first consultation she really takes the time to talk with you, discuss your eyebrows. She has a gentle touch, is quick, always is super friendly, really good at shaping eyebrows and is overall amazing. I love that I can text her and she'll do her best to fit me in. TAM IS THE BEST. Like most people.. this review is mostly for her. I went to her when she was at the Benefit counter and still come to her at Diva Salon because of her great work. My mom has been taking me to her for over 6 years and I will continue going as long as I can. You cant trust everyone with your eyebrows because once they mess up,,, those hairs are gone! Thats something I dont have to worry about with Tam. Shell do it right the first time and shes patient. She doesnt rush and has a good eye for how to shape your brows to match your face. Prices are right, especially for the work done. I travel fairly far to get them done by her and its worth the drive. Also I suggest booking an appointment if you are going to see Tam. She can get pretty busy, but shes time oriented and will be with you on schedule. As for the rest of the salon. They have never given me negative service. They always ask if I need anything else done when I see Tam, just in case. Also they are always friendly, even if I decline. Despite not trying the other services, the other staff are constantly attentive and friendly so 5 stars for this place is deserved :) GET YOUR BROWS DONE BY TAM. You will NOT regret it :) read more

I have tried to be sneaky and tried some other hair stylist or salons. You just think perhaps someone else can give you a newer fresher look . Then you realize after your hair is burned, dried, and looks disgusting that you have made a huge mistake! Even after I have done that a few times , I come back crying to Gus asking him to fix it. Give this place a try and go see tam she is a gem! I part of me doesn't ant to write this review to keep her as a secret but she deserves the review. You have to schedule an appointment because she's usually booked on the days she works. Its 18$ for brows and I believe 25 for brow and upper lip. She's a bit pricey but hey. Good work isn't cheap! She takes her time and explains what she's doing and how to maintain the shape. I haven't gotten my hair done there and I am a little skeptical to give it a try. I have tried beauticians at other places when inevitable like when I'm out of town and they always ruin the shape she has created. I was very impressed when she remembered who I was and reminded me my appointment the day before. Changing my time was no problem either as she provided me times she was not booked. This was my first time getting my eyebrows done so Tam was very nice in explaining to me what she was doing. The plucking was not painful at all and the waxing was bearable. I think it's the least painful waxing you can ever get haha since she would try to do it quickly. After I was done, my eyebrows looked well trimmed and groomed (since all I knew what I wanted was as natural as possible). Tam told me next time I can come back and tell her whatever I'll want it to be done since I would have a better idea of how I want it. She is a perfectionist and artist who takes the time to do a fantastic job every time. She is never in a hurry or rushed, she schedules her appointments realistically so she can take the time necessary to do a great job. I am over 50 and admit she even has to wax a few nose hairs occasionally :( That has never been done by anyone else but Tam wants to make sure I look great before I leave. They are ruined my birthday today! I called on Saturday around 3 PM and asked if they working on Sunday. They said yes three hairstylist will be working and I asked who can come out exactly at 11 because it is my birthday and I will have a party later , receptionist said yes Gustavo for sure can come out at 11 and they scheduled me. I came 10:55 AM on Sunday asked if Gustovo already there and the only woman who worked at the time she said no but he will be there any second in about 11:10 AM receptionist came and she said yes he's probably will be here soon but let me start to wash your hair and I will start to dry it! I was kind of shocked because she never introduced herself and I saw her on the front desk as a receptionist! So of course I ask her to call Gustavo to check why he never even called and said he is late or just give me an idea when he's going to be at the place she went on the back with her phone spend another couple minutes came back never explain what's going on and of course I left that place! My opinion if you as a specialist have an appointment at least you need to call your customer and explain that something happened and you are late ,he never called and I left without hairstyle to the birthday party! Unprofessional and rude behavior! Of course I will never recommend Diva salon and Gustavo to anybody in Costa Mesa and Santa Ana or Orange county especially if it is a big competition business and we do have a hair salons every 10 miles. read more
