There should be a line around the Water Store to get a taste of Len's clam strip bellies, a possible mix of corn and pastry flour with no excess, form fitting like 90s spandex. Soaked in something wonderful, Len's head is always up and smiling between dunks and plating. I've had fried clams all over the country - Tacoma to Texas - and with Casco Bay where the water runs thru just next to us, there's that little grit of freshly dug clams. The clams that were lying just below the sandy surface a day ago and the tides right, so, shucked this very morning. I had a wonderful haddock dish in sauce with a vegetable melange that I couldn't finish it was so good but huge. The location reminds me of an old New England club, great atmosphere. The beer selection was expansive, and best of all included a large selection of local and New England brews. Heck, we have about the best brews in the country, might as well show them off.
