Just had another amazing meal at this restaurant chicken Alfredo is the best . And our server Madison is a total rockstar .

Our waiter, Kyle, was wonderful and catered to us with great detail and help. The food was awesome and a great atmosphere.

Nice ambiance and a different night out I recommended the house special Alfredo to my 2 guests. This is a spectacular dish and extremely tasty as it is mixed tableside. I love it but my cardiologist says I can have it only once in 5 years--so I was able to taste it from my guests dish I had chicken Marsala which was ok. Best part were the noodles. Worst part was waiting for replacement silverware after my appetizer. I hate when I'm told to "lick my fork" for the entree. All in all a fun night out, nice ambiance, ok food, and moderate service. This was my third visit to Divieto. Every time I've gone I've gotten something different but everything I've tried has been better than the last. The pear ravioli was SO GOOD. Weird combo but tastes delicious. Their Cobb salad was plentiful and the pear and gorgonzola pizza was delicious. They have a good menu of desserts and make a mean cappuccino. Tried the new place in coconut point, Divieto Italian, it was fantastic. Our server was Maria and she was so sweet and attentive and made great suggestions. Calamari with squash was outstanding, bread with olive butter was delish, fresh salad. The pasta bolognese with meatballs was to die for, super fresh and tender meatballs too. The alfredo was excellent, cooked perfectly and had a nice tangy bite from the cheese. Cappuccino was perfect, strong with lots of foam. Dessert was a sponge cake with three milks topped with a caramel creamy mix and candied walnuts. Very good all around and can't wait to go back. read more

We got treated so poorly at this restaurant today. First, I called to ask if they were taking reservations. The girl on the phone said no that they were booked. I asked about walk-ins. She literally said I shouldn't bother going. Well, we did. At 4:30pm the restaurant was moderately busy but we were sat immediately outside with 4 other occupied tables. We sat there for 30 minutes while 2 waiters, a host, a manager, and countless runners/bussers passed by. They saw us but there we sat for 30 minutes with not even water. Finally another table points us out after having arrived after us and receiving their drinks. The waiter says, "the server for this section is running late, but I can at least bring you drinks." So I asked "you mean we have to wait for the server to arrive to work to be served?" He responded with he would see if someone could help us. He eventually was given the go ahead to serve us and took our order 45 minutes after we had been sat! We watched 2 separate managers (at least both men looked like managers) approach every table except ours to ask how the service was. I don't need to wonder why they didn't approach us... Shows a lack of care and concern for their patrons and goodness knows they get dinged if they have to comp us. The food was just okay, the eventual server was okay. But sitting there like we did without service or even acknowledgement for 30 minutes was not okay. We could have spoken up, sure. But every time a server walked by and looked at us, we thought they were coming. Just not a good experience and for that, we likely won't be back. read more

The ruota was very good, but the service was not very good. I believe that it is not the fault of the waiter, but of the operation of the restaurant. As it was already 9 PM they no longer had dessert and when I asked to try the smoked old fashioned, They brought me the normal drink because the machine that was meant to be smoked did not work. I can't believe this is the same space that used to be Bice. The remodel is amazing. The outdoor seating area is beautiful and almost completely hides the fact that you are at a mall. The food was well above average, the wine list was not insanely expensive, and the service was friendly and prompt. I would absolutely eat there again. read more

Went last night as we heard many good things about this place from neighbors. Read Yelp reviews prior so certainly got a sense on the food and atmosphere. Made a reservation, but opted to sit and eat at the bar. Wait staff was excellent. The Bruschetta Siciliana was very good..tomatoes fresh. Hubby had the Spaghetti with meatballs. As one reviewer already noted, the meatballs appeared to be frozen store bought. I think they need to rethink this dish offering one or two large homemade meatballs. Sauce was good. I had the Wild Mushroom Capellini. Disappointing as there appear to be regular (albeit fresh) white mushrooms with slices of portobello mushrooms on top almost as an afterthought. The portobello were actually cold and not blended or simmered in the white wine sauce. However, the best part of the evening was the opera singer whose voice was like a young Bocelli... BEAUTIFUL. Did not see tip jar but surely was prepared to tip. Too bad noise drowned him out at times. Overall better than a Two Meatballs, but think they need to up their game. read more

A date I met on Bumble brought me here. He insisted that I try the dish "ruota di parmigiano." Little did I know but they prepare this dish right in front of you, how freakin' cool!! It's a pasta in a creamy white cheese sauce but to make the sauce, they put the pasta in a gigantic cheese wheel & scrape off the edges.. I felt like I was in Italy. 10/10 would recommend, my date definitely scored some brownie points with the cheese wheel. read more

Quality and standard of service has gone down, not in a rush to go back. I used to be a frequent visitor of the restaurant and my last 3 visits have been less than an enjoyable experience. One was a birthday dinner (only two of us). We had reservations and were still asked to wait while our table was ready and we would receive a text. We decided to grab a drink at the bar while waiting (waited at least 15 minutes for our drink at a near empty bar). 45 minutes later, still no text. I go up to the host stand and was told they lost my reservation and I could be seated immediately. We got sat, another 15 minutes before a server even greets us. We asked for water while we decided on an appetizer and a bottle of wine. Waters were delivered quickly, waited another 15-20 minutes- the server never came back, and we never got bread. After nearly two hours in the restaurant for a birthday dinner, we left. After this experience I called to express my discontent with my experience, to the manager. Did not ask for anything in return, just wanted to express my thoughts that I believe this quality of service was not on par with their expectations. He apologized and asked if he could please get me on the calendar and promised I would be "taken care of". I didn't have any expectations from that statement other than exceptional service and maybe a complimentary dessert or appetizer. We decided on a date just about a month out. It seems the only thing that was "taken care of" was making sure we had a reservation booked... a month in advance. Granted this time, a table was ready for us, the service wasn't exceptional. The server broke the cork in our bottle of wine and walked away with it which turned into a 10 minute ordeal that the manager got involved in. I was asked to "fish" out the pieces of cork from the neck of the bottle with my finger by the manager. Other than the poor service, I will say the food is usually consistently good and delivered in a timely manner. read more

Rude. My dad was visiting us during our conference, and as a senior from Germany he walked in there just to get a coke. While they offered him one for free - which was nice! They did not allow him to sit outside at one of the tables to rest, while it was the hot time of the day. The restaurant was basically empty, no one sitting outside. A employe approached him and said he had to leave as everything was reserved. Obviously not true as no one was there, my dad pointed out that the restaurant was empty, but got asked to leave anyway. My husband and I ate lunch at Divieto Restorante yesterday and really enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere. We had the calamari, osso bucco and seafood ravioli and brought home a tres leche for dessert later. Everything was delicious. This place is awesome! We went with a group of 5, celebrating a new relationship. We ordered the Spinach Formaggio, Calamari & Tuna Tartare. AMAZING (highly recommend the Spinach Formaggio. The table bread was really good too, we didn't get it until after our apps but it was because they were still baking it. My wife ordered the Short Rib ravioli, maybe a 6/10. 3 of us got the the Parmesan wheel, it looks awesome and tasted good but the steaks we ordered with it were a 5/10. Tough and flavorless. My friend ordered the rustic ribeye and it was amazing!! 20/10! The deserts were great and the cappuccino was the best way to end the night. Overall the service was a little shaky at first but that was because her section was so far away from us. After a little bit, our waitress was super nice, friendly, & attentive. Excellent Service! Me and my friends came down from Miami and took some extra time to have lunch. Previously we stopped by a different restaurant but the appetizers and service were terrible so we decided to leave and look for another place, so we find this one. For once the food was amazing, and the service fenomenal. We sorry we don't recall the waiters name but she was sweet and very attentive (also beautiful blue eyes). The food was spot on, everything perfectly cooked and full of favor. The venezuelan hostess was also very sweet, charismatic and attentive. After enjoying our lunch we came to the bar and had a couple of drinks and desert with Alex the bartender. Alex was also amazing, great personality and amazing hospitality skills. we had a blast and make a highlight out of our day! We sat outdoors and they have heat lamps when the sun goes down. I had the mushroom capellini and it was amazing! Light but in a good way.. very flavorful. My mom says this place has the best salmon she has ever had (and she eats a lot of salmon!) my only complaint would be that the drinks are very expensive, 14$ for a gin and tonic. Seems like it took forever for someone to finally buy a place around here and actually care about how the food tastes. Not to mention make it reasonably priced. Unlike many others in the area. So my wife and I first went there about 2 weeks ago. We ordered the Ruota Di Parmigiano and the Fiocchi Di Pera. Both were just amazing. Especially the Fiocchi Di Pera I HIGHLY recommend it!!!! My wife returned there for happy hour and told me they have wonderful thin crust pizza. So about 2 weeks later I returned with her and ordered the Margarita Pizza and boy was she right!!! (she always is with food). It had the right amount of crunch, didn't come out cold or insanely hot, wasn't dough, and was made by people who were over 25. This place is now the Flag Ship of Coconut Point Mall and I hope every other place that considers themselves high end can keep up. read more

Food was very good once we finally were given a table! We went in without reservations and ditzy hostess says 10 minutes.. no problem we go to the bar.. 1hr later.. finally get a table. By that time we were fuming...we would've eaten at the bar table! That being said food was very good and even able to accommodate my GF allergies. We stopped in to Divieto this last Thursday night's we had originally wanted to go to South Fork Grill for the early bird dinner special, but, apparently you need reservations there for that. We were also asked if we had reservations at the hostess stand at Divieto, but they apparently had some open tables, as we were seated immediately. We got seated by the door to the patio, which was annoying, since it was chilly out, but some idiot wanted to sit outside and dine when it was 60 degrees outside. We were served immediately. I ordered a glass of wine and my husband, a beer. Drink prices were reasonable and the drinks came quickly. I ordered pecan crusted red snapper that came with polenta and sauteed vegetables. My husband had the grouper scampi, which was served on a bed of pasta (linguine maybe?) and a side of Roma tomatoes. He declined the Romas since he hates tomatoes. Our food came out quickly and was delicious! Our waitress was not the most attentive but the waiter that was taking care of the tables next to us picked up her slack. A good, not great experience. We would go back. It was a bit more than we usually like to spend on a meal, but it was good food. read more

Classy, dark, atmospheric Italian decor sets you up for a big disappointment if you are expecting genuine Italian experience - meaning food with gusto and character. The pasta with meatballs and Sicilian shrimp dish were non-offensive and bland. Service was OK. $60+ for a simple lunch for two without alcohol. Sadly, the mediocre food quality for your money is quite common locally due to high demand from tourists / visitors and seasonal staffing issues. I am absolutely in love with this place! I have been about a dozen times now, so I think its a good time to tell you how I feel. Growing up in an Italian family, I very rarely have the urge to go out to an Italian restaurant. The menu here is exciting enough for me to crave a lot of these awesome dishes. My first favorite by far its the carpaccio di manzo. It is absolutely the business! Perfectly balanced truffle flavor with a tough of raw mushroom, makes this dish incredible. A few of my other favorites are the pear pasta dish and the cheese wheel. Although at first it seem gimmicky, the parmigiana add this richness that you would not be able to duplicate otherwise. The only bummer, is that I find the wait staff to be a little inconsistent. I find myself asking for things multiple times before having to ask someone else to grab it for me. Finally, a great new addition to the area that satisfies my Italian needs! Old school 50's vibe restaurant with modern Italian cuisine. Have yet to try a dish we haven't enjoyed.... The tableside parmesan wheel is really yummy and one of my favorites in the carpaccio di manzo. The portion size is huge (literally served on like a two foot plate) and is always fresh and delicious. Service has been mixed for us, sometimes the service has been awesome and other times they have not been engaged and seem to be new to serving. I am also bummed that their lunch menu is the same menu and price as the dinner menu. It would be nice to have the option to come in for smaller portioned size lunches with reduced pricing. This place is concept is beautiful. Growing up in an Italian section of Philadelphia I appreciate the art of Italian food and perhaps it has spoiled my tastes. Divieto's has a pleasant ambiance and a wonderful array of options. Our mozzarella appetizer was delicious. For dinner I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and my friend ordered the RUOTA DI PARMIGIANO (pasta tossed in the Parmesan bowl). Her food was extremely flavorful however my meatballs tasted like they were basic frozen meatballs from a wholesaler. I advise the owners to speak with their chef to revisit their main authentic dishes. Don't call yourself an Italian restaurant if you can't master a staple such as spaghetti and meatballs. Only would go back for the Ruota di Parmigiano. Overpriced for quality of food. read more
