I recently visited Divieto to celebrate what would have been my late father-in-law's birthday. This restaurant was one of his favorites when he was with us, and it has now become a tradition for us to honor his memory here each year. Our server, Sebastian F., went above and beyond to make the evening incredibly special. When I shared the reason for our visit, he took the time to ask about my father-in-law -- how old he would have been and one of our favorite memories with him. A short while later, Sebastian surprised us with a small bouquet of flowers, such a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture that truly touched us. At the end of our meal, he returned with his manager and a dessert beautifully decorated with my father-in-law's age and the message "Forever in our hearts." It was such an unexpected and meaningful moment that brought warmth and comfort to us all. The food, as always, was amazing -- but it was Sebastian's kindness, empathy, and attention to detail that made this visit unforgettable. Acts of compassion like his remind you that genuine hospitality still exists. We are from the Providence Ri area where the very best Italian Restaurants in all the USA are located. I can say that because my vocation brought me to 75% of the cities in America. Additionally, I have been to many cities in Italy. Divietos ranks in the top tier. I had the wild mushroom pasta which was great. My wife and may adult son had the table side fettuccini alfredo prepared at our table. They loved it.... My daughter had the Siciliana. Best meals we have had in Florida in the four winter seasons we have spent here in SWFL. One of the most memorable parts of the evening though was the excellent service provided by our waiter, Dante. This young man was exceptional. I truly hope that his management reads this and share the kudos that we are sending his way. From my Fort Myers address this was 30 minute+ drive but it was definitely worth it and we will return and bring our friends from the golf community in which we reside. read more

Small detail I want to post, last night I went with my kids and daughter in law. Only time we can really get together and spend time. And I must say the service was awful last night. Server was the bartender and he took about 10 minutes to greet us and another 10 minutes to bring our drinks. Also did not offer bread when taking order. After our food was brought out we asked for more bread and the response was 'there is no more bread tonight, we ran out' also at the end of our meal we asked to order dessert and the response was 'the dessert lady went home'. The manager was Vincent and he did not even approach us to apologize for the bad service. Usually when Gustavo or Guillermo are working the service is A1. Very disappointed. I am a regular guest and I expect good service every time I go dine in. read more

Divieto Ristorante Estero, FL did an amazing job with my parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration! The management is awesome; Naily, JJ, and Guillermo. Our waiters, Luciano and Steven, did a spectacular job and made it fun too! Naily helped me from the planning stages through the entire event with timing, menu choices, décor suggestions, etc. She was very reliable with great ideas. Everyone was accommodating, helpful, professional, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is inviting and the food is amazing. I frequent this restaurant, but this was the first event that I have booked. I highly recommend Divieto's in Estero both for an everyday meal and events! read more

Second visit to this restaurant. And again...just blew our expectations out the window. Tristian was a god send. Our food was served to perfection. He made my mothers birthday spectacular. We didn't get a manager table touch like I did on my last visit but we were a big table so maybe it happens and I didn't notice. I just wanted Tristan's manager to know how much an amazing job he did for us. 10 of our 12 guests were here for their first visit and all love the food and drinks. He did such a great job even serving the brought in desert we had. I just love this place. Can't wait to go back. The room they gave us for our space was peaceful and warm feeling. read more

I recently dined at Divieto Restaurant , and it was a fantastic experience! We got a gift card from a friend. The Italian cuisine was simply excellent--every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and prepared to perfection. What truly stood out was our waiter,Brandon, who was incredibly friendly, prompt, and polite. Their attentive service made the evening even more enjoyable. It's clear that the staff genuinely cares about providing a great dining experience. Just want to thank the entire management team and staff for a wonderful dinner again last evening to celebrate our anniversary. We have been patrons since they opened and everyone is always so welcoming, they greet everyone as if they have known them for years, very accommodating and warm. We go to Divieto all the time. The food is fantastic. But last night we were there on a very busy night in which we started to have a very bad experience with the waitress. The manager then came and was incredibly professional, he brought over a new waiter named Shane and he went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Honestly, the level of effort put in to make dining there a good experience was super impressive. Shane was an incredible host for the night. We are super appreciative, and of course will be eating at Divieto again in the future! read more

Came in Friday night for dinner with some friends. Would not recommend to anybody looking for a nice evening. Horrible service and food. Kaylee was our server and was very un attentive and seemed like she really did not care. She never checked up to see if we needed anything and was short when speaking. I don't know what was worse though our service or the food. The food and drinks took forever to come and when they did were not anything special. On a one to ten scale I would say -5. read more

I can't say enough good things about our visit. The food was exceptional--some of the best Italian I've had in a long time. But the real star of the show was our server, Sophia. My family and I regularly order to-go from Divieto Estero, and the food is always hot, fresh, and--most importantly--always correct. The consistency keeps us coming back. Came here for my birthday dinner as a first time comer. I drove from Cape Coral and it was worth it! We had the best server named Devin G. He was detailed and super kind the entire time. The cheese wheel dish is definitely worth the experience. This cheese is amazing. The chicken is extra but also cooked very well. The brownie dessert is to die for! read more

When we first returned to SW Florida after a LONG Spring Summer and Fall We dined on the patio of Divieto's. IIt was one of best meals we've had in our little neck of the woods! He was fantastic, BUT...I saw my server behind the bar running his ass off and the managers Gustavo and Guillermo we're eating and the server's were running without support! Five star server! Mgt.
