I had crown work done that has caused ongoing discomfort and repeated issues. Crowns have come loose/fallen off, and I have difficulty flossing due to excess cement between and behind the teeth. After seeking a second opinion with new X-rays and a CBCT scan, I was informed there were concerns regarding the crown placement and cementing, including that one crown had been placed incorrectly. I was also informed that two root canals previously completed at Gentle Dental showed abscess/infection  and I was referred to an endodontic specialist for possible retreatment of work I had already paid to have done. I have spent months trying to resolve these issues directly with the office and resolution department. During the resolution process, I was presented with an agreement stating that in exchange for reimbursement, I would agree not to post negative reviews or pursue complaints with the Dental Board. This was difficult for me because the amount offered was far less than the estimated cost to correct the dental issues, including treatment estimates provided by their own office that were more than double the reimbursement amount offered. This entire experience has been physically, emotionally, and financially exhausting. I am still hopeful this matter can be resolved professionally and fairly.

First time I can recall having a good experience at the dentist!…read more At other dental offices, it was always the same problem - they didn't listen, aggressively pushed procedures on me I didn't want, and the results were mediocre, at best. As a child, it was traumatizing. As an adult, it was frustrating, and painful. Dr. Alford, and his staff, provide an entirely different and welcoming approach. When I told the hygienist I wanted minimal polishing paste for the cleaning, there was no pushback, just a simple agreement, professional, no drama. When I mentioned that I did not want ultrasonic cleaning as it was very painful, I was told they already noted that in my chart, and the subject was immediately dropped without pushback. That was a first! Not only that, between the hygienist and Dr. Alford, my cleaning was so thorough that afterwards I couldn't feel any rough spots from my problem areas that get a lot of tartar! My teeth are also whiter than they've been in years. I'm still kind of amazed, because I'm used to LONG sessions, and having to live with sandy areas because that was "The best they could do without the ultrasonic." I am super grateful to finally have a competent dentist to go to where I feel comfortable, safe, and my concerns and wishes matter. Dr. Alford is easy to talk to and put me right at ease, as did his hygienist. I don't know if it's because this is a pediatric specialty office, but the entire staff is naturally kind and considerate. It definitely takes a lot of empathy and patience to work with kids! She was soooo good with my daughter and made sure she was comfortable the whole time. Unfortunately, an extraction and a few caps are in our future. After three visits of "you owe us money" because they didn't bill my secondary, I was done. Cindy is very rude and snooty. She even told my husband that I still owed them $130 from a "really long time ago" when it's actually on $37. Even the voicemail saying "we've waited a long time for this" is outrageous to me. You didn't bill my insurance, you tried to get money out of ME instead.

I used to sweat, heavy perspiring drips of sweat, at the thought of going to the dentist, and I'd make up any excuse (sure, I'll stay late for this incredibly boring and painful meeting, need a blood draw?, need me to clean the toilets of high security prison?) just to get out of it. It's all changed with Dr. Lee and her incredibly talented staff. I almost look forward to visiting their office! So my Wyoming doctor, whom I've religiously gone to every 6 months for the past 6 years, somehow missed 7 - yes 7 - cavities in my almost-perfect, cavity-free mouth. Dr. Lee and her amazing staff identified these, and came up with a plan to fix them gently over several weeks. I just had my second visit, and WOW!! Nothing hurts, in fact, nothing is even uncomfortable. Not the scraping of the plaque (my Wyo dentist scraped me until my gums bled like stuck pigs and then my poor mouth would be inflammed for days). If anything is going to be remotely sensitive, they pull out the numbing gel. I really couldn't feel all the little needle pricks on my shots yesterday. And there was no pain or soreness, even after the anesthetic wore off. What I really love about Dr. Lee and her hygienists is that they know what they are doing, and they explain every step of the process, and why the work should be done. They are friendly and fun, and you feel so at ease, even with all the drills and high-tech equipment running. Oh, and you get a free mold for whitening your teeth, and as long as you go every 6 months for a cleaning, the gel is free too. So, there you have it, I have never met a dentist so wonderful, so competent, gentle and effective as Dr. Lee. Make her your dentist, and you won't fear any teeth procedure again!

I have a knee replacement and any infection in the body is a critical problem. From the moment I walked in and meet the receptionist I felt this was a different dentist office. No one is touching my mouth except Dr. Lee from now on!
