Adrian was our server and was the star of the night curating the perfect Cajun expierence for me while ensuring my not so Cajun curious wife was handled with care. Seafood Gumbo was excellent followed by the Catfish Billy, which is 2 dishes in one. Crawfish ettoufie with a fried catfish filet served atop with a portion "crawfish gravy" ! The flavors and textures were perfection and the crunch of the catfish added character along with a crunch that wouldn't allow you to stop eating. The Carrott Cake was ordered to go and was the perfect breakfast with a black coffee pour over the next morning. To be fair when we pulled into the parking lot we thought oh maybe we had hit the very edge of our find a "joint" ambition. Once inside the vibe of dive and/or joint hits hard but if you pay attention you will pick up on the volume of tables, which is evidence of the volume of patrons that frequent this local hideaway. We were there on a Wed night after the typical 5-630 dinner time so it was quiet. Adrian was welcoming and attentive, ensuring our needs were not simply met but exceeded. The best Resturant review isn't one that simply mashed the 5 stars, rather it's one that declares if I were local I would be a regular, in this case at Robert's River Road Resturant.
