Garlic Fried Rice (Brown Rice with Beef)
    Nicholas-Bjorn N.

Brief: Delicious Flavors, Friendly Servers, and a Warm, Welcoming Environment This is a UW Gem, the flavors are fresh, seasoned well, and cute little location. We've been here at least half a dozen times and their offerings are pretty unique. I personally like the Roti and Satay a lot! We always order a round of Gyoza (especially at happy hour!) This time we had Pad See Eiw (beef), Yellow Curry (chicken), and Garlic Fried Rice (subbed to have brown rice with beef!) Service is overall friendly and the townhome it's built into is very comfy. You can't really hear the street either; I think you'll like it!

    Garlic lovers

I can't support this place anymore. Not only is their building super run down & dirty looking, their food quality is waning. Their garlic lovers entree should be called "garlic protein" - as there is mostly protein only & hardly any veggies. The cabbage they've included is literally about 1 tbsp of shredded cabbage - like the type they throw on a plate for garnishing. I ended up with 3 pieces of broccoli & a ton of onion & carrot as my "veggies."

I went with my boyfriend for his birthday, and we had a great time! We enjoyed our table by the window, and talked about the music playing as we had delicious thai tea, roti with curry sauce, and noodles.

It was a cute and cozy restaurant, very small. Food came out after a comfortable wait. The pad Thai was delicious, but the pad see ew was lacking flavor in my opinion. I also very enjoyed the green curry. Overall, enjoyed our visit!

$15. Not $13.50 on the website. Little chicken, moist noodles.

Got an order here. Not bad. $15.45 for lunch. Mostly noodles and not much chicken. I liked how the noodles wasn't clumpy. More ketchup flavor than tamarind

Sweet place to dine in. Food was excellent and the price was reasonable. They have a happy hour menu and $4 bottled beer.

We have 2 spots of parking on the back of the restaurant. Normally customers find parking on street near by.

I love a good rice noodle and they do it so well. It very thin and soaks up the sauce very well. I got the guay tiew lohd tom yum and it was so flavorful. Protein is marinated pork and fried shrimp as topping. You can taste the fish sauce, and tanginess from tom yum. Good textures with pork, pork roll, bean sprouts, and peanuts. Overall good food. The savory fillings also blended super well with the wrapping and were absolutely delicious. Khao Soi was good too but I wasn't impressed- the noodles were not cooked too well and kinda stuck together, but it wasn't major. However seating was a bit confusing as you had to find an empty table and the server would bring you the food. When it was busy the line and wait got messy and it's possible to get your food without having a table so I don't recommend coming here when it's super busy There were around 8 tables and some bar seatings. You can see staff making the food over the counter and the ventilation was done well even with all the stir fry and cooking.

When entering they had a live keyboardist and singer playing Valerie which I was a fan of. We stopped in at 10pm on a week night and were sat right away and service was prompt and friendly. We chose fried calamari for an appetizer which was super delicious. My boyfriend thought the sauce that came with the calamari was too spicy for his liking but for me it was super sweet and paired perfectly with the calamari. We enjoyed the appetizer thoroughly and I would say it was my favorite part of the meal. My man ordered his favorite Thai dish Panang chicken Curry spice level 1. He said his meal was delicious but big portion so we both took to go our leftovers. I tried the curry and it was super tasty. I ordered my go to prawns Pad Thai and chose spice level 3. The Pad Thai was delicious and large portion but level 3 was not spicy at all so if you love spicy like me choose above level 3. Not the best Pad Thai I've ever had being honest but still yummy especially for late night. Definitely a great late night choice with large portions!

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we were looking forward to the bold flavors we've come to love. The visit started off a bit oddly. The front desk server, Tar, asked to see my wife's ID--even though she's 36 years old and we weren't seated in the bar area. It felt inconsistent, especially since younger guests nearby weren't asked, and it's something we've never experienced at their other locations. Unfortunately, moments like that made us feel singled out, and honestly it sometimes feels like they tend to pick on Asians, whether intentional or not. That feeling alone made the experience uncomfortable and will likely make this our last visit to this location. That said, the table service was excellent. Moo took great care of us, and Cece from the bar was attentive and kept our water filled throughout the meal. Unfortunately, there were a few moments that took away from the experience. While I was taking photos of our dishes, a young staff member alongside Tar appeared to be giggling and mocking me, which made things uncomfortable. It may not have been intentional, but it didn't feel professional and only added to the awkward atmosphere we already felt. Food-wise, there were some inconsistencies. The chicken didn't taste as good as we remember, and several plates had visible fingerprints, which was off-putting. The galvanized metal plates also gave off a slightly unrefined feel--more like cafeteria-style serving ware. Additionally, the sticky rice, which is usually presented in a traditional bamboo basket, was served in a Ziploc bag, which felt like a downgrade in presentation. On a positive note, the papaya salad and pad Thai were still very good and delivered the flavors we expect. We'll continue supporting Isarn, but we'll likely return to the Kirkland or Lynnwood locations next time. Sadly, after this experience, this Queen Anne visit will probably be our last.
