    TD4.Tom Yum Fried Rice

Stopped here for dinner on a hot day and we were so surprised at how tasty the ground chicken larb was!! The savory flavors packed a punch, but they didn't drown the chicken and cabbage in fish sauce like so many other places do. Cannot recommend the larb highly enough! The tom yum fried rice on the other hand was a bit underwhelming due to how underseasoned it was. We ended up scooping some of the remaining larb sauce onto it to give it the flavor it so desperately needed. Service wise, the staff was very friendly but they forgot our drinks. Overall a 4-star experience just because the larb was so good.

We visited Krua Thai Eatery on a Saturday afternoon. The parking lot is small with four spots. It is a no-frills restaurant. I could see they had quite a few take out orders lined up. With limited staff, it was nice to see them keep the place running efficiently with a smile on their face. Plus our orders came out surprisingly quickly which was a plus! We ordered 4 dishes: 1. Tom Kha with soft tofu soup: Perfectly balanced flavors with a rich, creamy coconut base. A must-try for soup lovers! Quality over quantity, so if you are planning to split 4 ways you might need to order a couple 2. Tamarind Chicken Wings: Deliciously tangy and sweet with just the right amount of crispiness. A sweet dipping sauce. However the wings were not hot at all, so kind of a disappointment but it was pretty flavorful nonetheless. 3. Green Papaya Salad: Fresh, crunchy, and bursting with lime and fish sauce, kind of salty and tangy. However I did not enjoy the dry shrimp. A few were very tough to chew on. Pad Ke Mao with soft tofu: Packed with bold flavors and just the right level of spice (level 4). Noodles were done perfectly. Overall I rate this a 4 star experience considering the authenticity plus taste of the food with a few shortcomings. The restaurant was well ventilated so we didn't mind eating in. Seating area is on the smaller side, so it might get crowded during peak hours. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. They are less than a mile from UVillage. Please support this small business.

I want to thank this establishment for using compostable take-out food containers. No more eating out of plastic containers. Thank you!!!

I really miss their lunch combos. Used to go out of my way to get them. Food is still good but the combo was a nice mix.

I love a good rice noodle and they do it so well. It very thin and soaks up the sauce very well. I got the guay tiew lohd tom yum and it was so flavorful. Protein is marinated pork and fried shrimp as topping. You can taste the fish sauce, and tanginess from tom yum. Good textures with pork, pork roll, bean sprouts, and peanuts. Overall good food. The savory fillings also blended super well with the wrapping and were absolutely delicious. Khao Soi was good too but I wasn't impressed- the noodles were not cooked too well and kinda stuck together, but it wasn't major. However seating was a bit confusing as you had to find an empty table and the server would bring you the food. When it was busy the line and wait got messy and it's possible to get your food without having a table so I don't recommend coming here when it's super busy There were around 8 tables and some bar seatings. You can see staff making the food over the counter and the ventilation was done well even with all the stir fry and cooking.

When entering they had a live keyboardist and singer playing Valerie which I was a fan of. We stopped in at 10pm on a week night and were sat right away and service was prompt and friendly. We chose fried calamari for an appetizer which was super delicious. My boyfriend thought the sauce that came with the calamari was too spicy for his liking but for me it was super sweet and paired perfectly with the calamari. We enjoyed the appetizer thoroughly and I would say it was my favorite part of the meal. My man ordered his favorite Thai dish Panang chicken Curry spice level 1. He said his meal was delicious but big portion so we both took to go our leftovers. I tried the curry and it was super tasty. I ordered my go to prawns Pad Thai and chose spice level 3. The Pad Thai was delicious and large portion but level 3 was not spicy at all so if you love spicy like me choose above level 3. Not the best Pad Thai I've ever had being honest but still yummy especially for late night. Definitely a great late night choice with large portions!

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we were looking forward to the bold flavors we've come to love. The visit started off a bit oddly. The front desk server, Tar, asked to see my wife's ID--even though she's 36 years old and we weren't seated in the bar area. It felt inconsistent, especially since younger guests nearby weren't asked, and it's something we've never experienced at their other locations. Unfortunately, moments like that made us feel singled out, and honestly it sometimes feels like they tend to pick on Asians, whether intentional or not. That feeling alone made the experience uncomfortable and will likely make this our last visit to this location. That said, the table service was excellent. Moo took great care of us, and Cece from the bar was attentive and kept our water filled throughout the meal. Unfortunately, there were a few moments that took away from the experience. While I was taking photos of our dishes, a young staff member alongside Tar appeared to be giggling and mocking me, which made things uncomfortable. It may not have been intentional, but it didn't feel professional and only added to the awkward atmosphere we already felt. Food-wise, there were some inconsistencies. The chicken didn't taste as good as we remember, and several plates had visible fingerprints, which was off-putting. The galvanized metal plates also gave off a slightly unrefined feel--more like cafeteria-style serving ware. Additionally, the sticky rice, which is usually presented in a traditional bamboo basket, was served in a Ziploc bag, which felt like a downgrade in presentation. On a positive note, the papaya salad and pad Thai were still very good and delivered the flavors we expect. We'll continue supporting Isarn, but we'll likely return to the Kirkland or Lynnwood locations next time. Sadly, after this experience, this Queen Anne visit will probably be our last.
