(06/30/16) I've been here before and thought the sirloin steak was okay but nothing to run back for. Today I ordered the Steak "Philly" with garlic fries. The sandwich in no way reminded me of a "Philly." The steak had a decent flavor, and that was about all that was good. Not real cheesy at all, I think there was one piece of bacon in it, and certain bites just seemed dry. The garlic fries were terribly oily. Most the fries were soggy bc of it. I asked for regular fries to replace them bc there was no way I was eating those. The ranch they gave was good tho. There's really no reason for me to return here. Pete's is like a BJ's but I'd choose BJ's over here any day. Also on a side note: Why is it called Pete's Restaurant and Brewhouse? They don't brew any beer. Should be changed to Taphouse bc that's essentially what it is. read more

Came here last night (on a Saturday) at 7pm on a double date before seeing a movie. We were quoted 20-25 mins so we put our name down after about 30-35 we went to check on the status the hostess said about 5 more mins.. we waited about another 15 mins and still nothing, so we just left, and ended up going to McDonald's for dinner. They finally sent me a text after 1 Hr saying our table was ready. I get "covid" but if your short staffed don't quote 20 mins when it's really gonna be over an hour. Oh and as we were waiting we saw a few other parties leaving after waiting for so long as well. read more

This restaurant has really gone downhill. My 2 1/2-year-old granddaughter ordered a kid's pizza and there were so much cheese on it that it actually choked her. My daughter ordered the lasagna and when it came out you could tell that it had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while because there was a film over it. And a portion of the noodles were so hard that she couldn't eat it. And complaining to the waitress didn't do any good because she just smiled and said she would tell the cook about our complaints And walked away. Our meal was $80 and the food was disgusting!!! 3.5 stars Came here for lunch with my mom on Friday. The service was a bit slow. We sat with empty waters for a while. It wasn't that busy and there seemed to be a lot of servers standing around. Just a lot of workers in general in the kitchen and out looking a bit lost and unhappy. I got a veggie sandwich on homemade foccacia and a salad. My mom got a blt and salad. Both were off their lunch menu which is good M-F 11-4. Each was about $8.50. We liked our food. My sandwich was a bit greasy though. Beers looked good and I definitely want to go back and have one. read more

Didn't want our business because we didn't have on masks to walk literally 10 feet through their restaurant to be seated outside. Dumbest thing ever. Just wondering how many $100 dinners they've turned away. & if they really didn't want us walking through the restaurant without masks on she could've sat us outside without even walking inside. We sat outside as we had our fur baby with us. Excellent customer service, frequent checks on how we were doing, etc. I enjoyed the non alcoholic mojito. The veggie burger was a bit oily. Basket of Brewhouse onion strings was crispy and fresh, cooked at a good temp so they were not oily. My father enjoyed the turkey sandwich. We would definitely return on our way to or from the mountains. read more

This is a great spot for a casual bite to eat! Loved the atmosphere. Certainly recommend the artichoke dip if you're into that sort of thing. They have great selections for beer and spirits, as well as a HUGE menu. Demi (sp?) was our waitress and she was fabulous. She definitely knew how to read her tables. Someone I'd request again to take care of me. Only thing I'd recommend is more bathroom checks in the ladies restroom, but honestly, there's only so much the staff can do (especially during Covid) to maintain that. I'd put the blame on rude guests more than I would the staff. Can't wait to come back for another date night! read more

Went here for Father's Day with my family. I got the chicken three cheese ravioli. The ravioli was delicious. The chicken might have been left on the grill a little too long because it had a bit of a burnt taste. My dad said he enjoyed his meal (St. Louis ribs w/ potato salad) which is what mattered for today. Sarah was our waitress and she was very friendly. Overall a positive experience here. read more

Ate here with my family for lunch. It was my first time eating here. Overall, it was good and I would definitely go back. We sat on their outdoor patio which was nice in the warm weather. There is some shade on the patio also for those who don't want to be in the sun. My sister and I shared the grilled chicken sandwich. This was my first time here at Pete's the food was delicious. My husband and I enjoyed our appetizer, fried calamari with marinara sauce. We also ordered the Pete's famous knotts. 1st week - typical adjustment period but food is good. Service slow - wait staff working out kinks but by next week I'm sure fine tuning and adjusting will be much better. Let me see if I can remember the details on this visit, oh yeah we waited and waited and waited. It didn't take long to sit us but that's where the problem started. We sat there and watched our waiter walk by us numerous times and not even the other staff came over to ask if we have ordered yet. I finally got up and asked the lady at the front of the restaurant if we can get our orders taken and finally someone came along, which wasn't our server. So to make a long story short, we waited again for our food which the server forgot about, again. We had to send back one plate because it was made incorrectly. By this time we barely have eaten and we were sitting for about an hour and some change already. I was done with my plate and my girlfriend had just received hers so luckily there was some twists to munch on while I waited. Here's the kicker, come to find out the server was in training and it all made sense! We didn't disparage the poor guy but we asked to speak with the manager and she came out to accommodate us for our troubles. The food was decent but the service could've been better but that was out of our hands at that point. Might not go back to this location just due to the bad experience. Our server disappeared for long periods of time, however, he was very friendly when he presented the check and when he came back for payment. Imagine that! The thing that is irritating is that the have now instituted a 4% charge for "kitchen love". The explanation is that it is to provide a living wage for their kitchen staff. Hello? If the management realizes the kitchen staff isn't paid enough why don't they pay them more? We paid $60 for 2 burgers, one beer and a soda. Our group of four came in on a Sunday afternoon. Nice and clean 'cookie cutter' style brewhouse restaurant. Our server was very nice, and attentive throughout. High marks for her service. Food is pretty standard for this kind of joint, and our sandwiches were good. It is designed for the sports bar crowd so it got pretty loud as the game came on. If your thinking about going to this restaurant, know this. The service is horrible. When you order a $31. Steak medium and it comes out medium well and bring it to their attention your treated like your a villain because you brought it to their attention. Then the manager argues that their medium steak doesn't have pink in it. I got my salad after my meal was served and when I asked for red onion on my salad they brought me out cooked onions. I returned as promised and it was amazing my wife had the linguine and shrimp and I had the Pete's combo pizza. As an appetizer we had the artichoke dip. Our server, Anna Z, was on top of it and never went without drinks or napkins. She was really polite and did a fantastic job. The food was excellent. I and writing this as I eat my left overs for my food that took forever when I had a movie to go to. I called after this just now to verify, and yes, the purple-haired waitress is also the manager, so yelp, here I come. I only ever use this to look at photos.... I thought she was fibbing so that she did not get repercussions from her service today......This waitress/manager/bartender(we will cover that too) ????? seemed to only care about certain customers, laughing with her employees, and laughing at her watch which is assume she was texting on. It took a long time for us to get service. We wanted to move to the bar, but there did not seem to be a bartender working there, as my waitress/manager ??? also seemed to be a bartender as well. I stood at the bar and waited to see if a bartender arrived so I could order a drink because it was taking so long, but one never came, just my waitress/manager/bartender. There was only the purple-hair manager working(taking orders), however, it seemed like there were more than enough employees on duty because food to other tables was being delivered by so many different people. Believe me, I was paying attention because my food seemed as if it would never arrive. There were several employees working, so I do not understand why there was only one waitress/manager/bartender taking orders. Employees had time to clean the back area by the restrooms while my waitress/manager/bartender was texting and laughing but did not come and help take any orders, I guess they would rather let their customers sit and wait to order for when the purple-haired waitress/manager/bartender finally decides to give them attention. How is sweeping more important then getting your waiting customers orders in. She seemed very overwhelmed, assuming by choice because she is the manager and there appeared to be plenty of staff, and the rest of the staff seemed to be doing all the work for her. When they were not cleaning and pretending there wasn't a full restaurant of customers and not taking orders. I only wish more of them were taking orders so I wouldn't have sat through my 3 hour movie thinking about whether or not I should call and ask for a different manager. I asked the staff twice, and they said that I had to wait for my manager/waitress/bartender to order. Shout out to the young man working who was appearing to do all her work. She went outside as well and laughed and talked to people outside. Once again poor management to have only one person taking orders(this place is not small) . She made it very clear to tell who she was happy to help and who she was less enthusiastic to help. She did not really do anything for my husband and I , and it did not seem like she was doing anything for certain customers other than taking orders. Do not get me wrong she was talking to other customers with her "I'm cool I'm snarky " attitude. I imagine people she assumed were good tippers. She had time to text in front of me at the bar; it appeared but did not fill up my drinks. She is a manager and couldn't even give me a refill or remember to ring in my order. We all know the waitress trick to blame the kitchen, because if that were the case, why were other people after my husband and me being served food? Well, the people around me were getting their food. I believe she delayed my food on purpose maybe because she was texting or overwhelmed with the number of tables in the area she had, or maybe I didn't seem like a good tipper to her so she didn't care to give me proper service. Or maybe because she is a poor manager and seems to laugh with her employees instead of having them take orders. She wasn't the one who delivered my food, either.. I'm not sure why I would even tip her if she is a manager and didn't do anything other than take my order or do any of the work for her other customers, other than take the order. I get better service and am treated better next door. She was not delivering food; she was not bringing beverages. Why would I be tipping her as a manager as opposed to the staff who was doing all the work? I sure hope so for the young man who was doing her job's sake. The food was good, but I would recommend steering clear if you have a movie, and make sure you ask if the manager is also the waitress because that would mean it's a non-tipping establishment. Also, be aware that there is more than one person taking orders, especially if you have a movie to attend after. The food was good I will give it that but be better with service and be nicer to your customers if you want more. This was Sunday afternoon by the way. read more

We had a great experience for dinner. Our server Jaliya was super even though she is new to serving she did a great job. She made sure that we we felt taken care of which is the hardest part of a servers job. And she makes us a super special dessert with her own flair. Sometimes is better to have a server who's attentive and thoughtful versus a know it all. I had the shrimp linguine and my other half had the St Louis ribs. He was more than thrilled with the his dinner mine was good I would say it's a standard dish nothing special however nothing bad. This happened a few months ago. I wasn't going to post this however because the owner never contacted me and another incident happened last night when one of my friends went. 2 Stars and here's why. I've been here several times with a few friends for lunch, dinner, and drinks. A group of friends and I went to the movies and decided to have a quick night cap before heading home so we head into Pete's at around 9:30ish. We knew they were about to close but the hostess said that we were okay. We head into the bar area and immediately order a drink. This is where it started getting downhill. Granted, it was kind of loud so the the bartender, Tiffany, may not have heard me clearly but she had attitude from the start. It was late so I let it pass cuz I'd probably be irritated too if someone walked in 30 minutes before closing. We get our drinks and we're having a great time. About 10 minutes later our server, Paige (who was great!), comes and says it's last call. We declined however about 5 minutes later we decide maybe just one more so my friend turned to the bartender and asked if we could have another round. Immediately Tiffany gets irritated and said, "Didn't your server just tell you it was last call?" and rolls her eyes. We said yes is it going to be a problem. Tiffany proceeds to start slamming stuff down and gets super aggressive. She then starts talking to our server within ear shot of us and we totally hear her talking crap about us. Eventually my friend said, is there a problem because if there is let us know instead of talking crap about us in front of all these customers. A verbal argument happened of her denying that she was talking crap and it wasn't until my friend said "Uh yes you were I have ears" that she backed off, didn't say anything, and basically walked away. We asked to speak to a manager, as that is totally unprofessional and rude, and we were told Tiffany was the manager for the night so we ask for the owners card. Paige rushed around to grab one and we see Tiffany rushing back to the kitchen with a card in her hand. As we were getting ready to leave, another friend went up to Tiffany to explain that we live in the community and we want to be able to come back, and little Ms. Tiffany pops off again. I eventually just walk out because I've seriously never seen such unprofessionalism in my life. If it was a big deal for us to get another drink, just say sorry we already called last call. Not a big deal, we would have went over to Red Robin or back to my place for a night cap. Aside from that, food is actually really good. That's the only reason they got two stars. read more
