Amazing food!! We came in for brunch on a Saturday and the breakfast menu was phenomenal. The portions were huge and we walked out quite satisfied!! I was a little high maintenance in my ordering, but the waitress didn't bat an eye. "No Problem!" Everything was amazing. This is a phenomenal place to eat!! The place is airy and bright they were even paintings on the ceilings I love the counters that are held back with River rock!!! Fun relaxed clean atmosphere!! We ordered the Charcuterie Platter, seriously this just walked the world you will not be able to get enough of their spicy tomato jam!!! We followed that with a Capicola and Fig Grilled Cheese sandwich OM goodness you will not be disappointed. I really wanted to like this place. The daily specials look amazing. The pizza looks awesome. The bar has good beer and good specials. Alas... The pizza was...OK. That's it. The toppings are great. They use a lot of cheese. The crust is just too sweet. It's like a savory pizza on top of a dense Hawaiian sweet bread or something. It's just not my style. My husband is from Pueblo and when in town we always stop at Do Drop. Deep dish pizza with honey in the crust. I like the cheese pizza and dh goes for the Hawaiian pizza. Order ahead because these thick pizzas take time to bake. The new dining patio is nice. Hopefully more restaurants will add dining patios. read more

We ordered pizza, ravioli, onion rings and a BLT. Everything was very good except the BLT had no bread. There was a bag of bacon and a bag of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers & mayo but no bread. Calling the store was a waste of time. I was treated like a liar and given the choice of coming there to get the bread or a store credit. What a pathetic joke. You've never been to Do Drop? Well, here's some general information for you. The pizza here is thick (more Chicago than New York) and the crust is just a tiny bit sweet (think beer batter dough). I particularly like how pineapple and Canadian bacon interact with the sweet crust. Do Drop serves other food - but none of the dinner items even comes close to the pizza. We were in Pueblo for a few days for a wedding recently. I decided to take the young newlyweds out for a dinner wherever they'd like to go. They wanted to go here, saying it had the best, although different, pizza anywhere. Well, that sounded interesting, although I would have preferred to take them to a nice steakhouse, or Italian. I'd heard Pueblo is known for its dining experience. But it was their choice, so of course we went to this pizza joint. I considered trying the steak, but then looked around and remembered where I was. No, definitely not trying the steak here. I just had a feeling I'd be pouring A-1 over it after the first bite. The buffalo wings were terrible. Microwaved from frozen I'm sure. About what you'd get from delivery. The pizza was nothing special. In fact, I could have heated up a DiGiorno's Pizza in the oven and barely tell the difference. There was a lot of pizza left over and although we did get it boxed up to go, it ended up being thrown out. The salad was good. I ended up back at the hotel eating bagged peanuts and chips. Next time I'm up this way I think I'll stick with Mexican. We had a very pleasant dining experience the day before at the Cactus Flower, which I believe I'll give three stars. read more

Best pizza I've ever had in America! It's a perfect blend of savory! I prefer these pies over the authentic famous New York style and Chicago's deep dish pizzas, which as a Chicagoan says a lot. Do Drop's honey crust with its amazing cheese and red sauce is unique. It really stands tall above all else I've ever had. Eat it fresh from the oven, or, refrigerator cold the next day. Yummm!!! Yummm! Once on a trip to Pueblo, I forgot my leftover box at the table. How could I do that? I was severely sad. :( Oh well, I will be back for more! Anyway, the staff is friendly and the prices are competitive. They have decent beer selections--could be better, but not bad. I'm not a huge fan of their buffet, but the breakfast menu is good--diner style food. It's a family friendly restaurant and sports bar; good for groups or couples too. Really good pizza here. The dough has a sweet taste and their sauce has great flavor. I had the pepperoni pizza. The dough is thick and thus the pizza is really filling. We ordered a medium to share amongst two of us and we took half the pizza home. We also tried the chips and dip, which consists of tortilla chips, kettle style chips and fried tortilla strips, with salsa. They were ok but not great. Also tried the Caesar salad and wasn't a big fan. The lettuce was wilted and the dressing didn't taste like authentic Caesar. So bottom line is go here for the pizza! read more

We came here for breakfast. It was good, not awesome. Biscuits and gravy, steak and eggs, cinnamon roll all very decent, if a little underwhelming. Obviously, this is a pizza joint first, so I may have to come back and try one of them...although the prices on the menu were high enough to make me reconsider. They must be VERY proud of them. I dock a star because of the horrible Bloody Mary I received. I asked for a spicy Bloody Mary, and what I got was a glass of ice, tomato juice, liquor (supposedly), and lime/lemon. No veggies, no spicy hot, no flavor whatsoever. I had to doctor it with pepper and Tabasco to make it bearable, and I still didnt finish it. Six bucks down the drain. I almost asked the waitress to take it off the bill. I dock another star for the overall lack of service. We were left standing at the entrance for at least ten minutes before we were shown to our seats. The place was full of people, and it looked like there was only one waitress serving everyone. What?? Of course, we didn't get the service we were hoping for. Too bad. This place was specifically recommended to me for breakfast and a good Bloody Mary, but this visit left much to be desired. The pizza itself I would have rated a 4/5, but the service was extremely slow, our server was not pleasant or friendly, the spinach dip we ordered was runny and flavorless, and the final nail on the coffin.... We got bad advice about this being a go to place for sloppers. We instead got the green chili burger (they said it would be the same - def not) and chilaquiles. Fake Slopper had no flavor to the beef and was generally lackluster. Chilaquiles egg came out the wrong temp and had little random meat chunks in it from the griddle, which wasn't super pleasant for the vegetarian. Extra star for the $2 mimosa. I have heard about this place for a long time and we finally visited Pueblo for the first time and it was top of my list to try. I was really disappointed! This is probably just personal taste but the pizza was SO soggy and it had way too much cheese in my opinion (and the cheese had a weird smell to it- must be a different blend of cheese than I am used to.) This is the first time in my life that I had less than one piece of pizza at a pizza restaurant. I didn't mind the sweet crust- it was the sogginess and cheese that I didn't like. My husband ended up eating a piece for lunch every day the week afterwards- he liked it pretty well and didn't want to waste it- but doesn't see the need to go back. It's probably just an acquired taste and I'm happy other people like it so much! We also had fried pickles as an appetizer and they were pretty good and a large portion. The restaurant itself is very cute and fun looking and the service was friendly. They have a good beer menu and we appreciated the daily specials. Last time I was in this joint the crust was less than done (more chewy than usual) and the sausage wasn't cooked. Learn how to cook a thick pizza. Or if you're having a hard time perhaps you need to precook the sausage a bit before adding it to the mix. And clean your tap lines. Beer tasted awful. read more

People will fall on one side of the fence or the other when it comes to Do Drop (this can be found when asking any Pueblo resident). They/you will either LOVE it or HATE it. It being the sweetness of the dough/crust. The dough is made fresh daily and they use beer (pretty sure and according to our waitress) in the dough which makes it sweet. This also makes it take a bit from the time you order to the time you reach Pizza Nirvana. If you know what type of pizza you want, you can call ahead and your pizza can be brought to your table quicker. The staff is always courteous and accurate when I go there and each of my coworkers are amazed when they try it. read more

Highly recommend the Pueblos Favorite pie, don't worry about the green chili being too hot as it's usually no more than medium. The lunch buffet has two kinds of pies, salad and usually 3 different types of pasta. It's really good and a great price! Perfect if you just want to get in and out for a quick bite. I have been here many times. The most recent was Saturday for my nephews graduation. We had a buffet with pizza and pasta. I LOVE the pizza here, it's very unique with a thick, sweet crust. I had never had pasta here prior to Saturday. I was amazed at how delicious it was. Everyone in my family loved it and went back for seconds. I love the pizza, like I said.
