Medium pie with extra Pueblo green chili's (very spicy but so good!)

Best pizza in Colorado! Hands down...I've tried a lot of pizza places also in Denver and nothing compares. The cheese and toppings are fresh and the crust is crunchy, soft, caramelized jn some areas and it has a sweet taste it's truly unique. This place also offers a good selection of Italian food too it's a must try people drive from all over the state just to eat here

Excellent pizza. Had the large and there were 4 adults and we still only had half of it. Definitely will return

    Cute bar

Ordered The chicken Parmigiana HOGIE THRU Grub hub .... There was no possible way I ordered the chicken parm entree since it was a push button toggle ..... but when we picked it up ... no sandwich but rather spaghetti noodles ? We didn't want to return it knowing it would be wasted and remade , so we ate it , and it was flavorful and good . A big plate of pasta was Not really what we wanted for lunch , but I would order it for dinner ! The bar area was very clean and cute but the bartender/server was a bit grumpy from the moment I said I was here to pick up my Grub hub order? First she acted like there was no such order, but I assured her I had phoned in to make sure the kitchen was prepping it ??? She reluctantly went to the kitchen and returned with my to-go container, said here you go and walked away being purposely evasive when all i wanted to do was hand her a "tip" and ask for some disposable cutlery and napkins since none were. Packed or Offered ? So minus one star for a grumpy greeter and minus one for getting the order wrong .... But I would give the place "another chance " since it reminded me of Cheers from television.... Other than the grumpy greeting obviously .

The bar is full of personal photos and history a must see.

I can't say enough about how Awesome this place is. Full of history and wonderful staff. Made me feel right at home even though I'm over a 1000 miles from home. Love the look and feel of all they have going on. The breakfast was GREAT too! If you haven't taken a moment to visit you should. Check out the back wall for more I interesting connections to family and Pueblo.

I called to order a pizza, the woman told me it will take 45 minutes to get ready. That's a lot of time for pizza but the reviews were so good that we have to try it. Since we were at the Riverwalk, we arrived 20 minutes earlier. My husband went inside to paid for the pizza while waiting, but for our surprise the pizza was ready. No one call us to let us know that the pizza was ready before the 45 minutes. Bad customer service from the start. They have a private parking lot and also is plenty of street parking. The place looks clean inside and out. The decor inside is cute. The prices are a little high compare to other pizza places around. When we open the pizza box noticed that the toppings were minimal and some were under the cheese, as shown on the picture. We started eating the chewy, almost completely cooked pizza, and taking layers off to see if we like something but everything was bad. The tomato sauce had no flavor. The cheese taste like imitation cheese. The ham was regular sandwich ham cut in medium size pieces. The crust was very sweet. They claimed to add honey to the crust but it's taste more like sugar or cheap honey than real honey flavor. It was the worst pizza we had in long time. We give it away to some locals. If you aren't from Pueblo and want to eat good pizza go to Angelo's Pizza in the Riverwalk and try the Pueblo chili pizza.

Frequent this location regularly maybe 2-3 times per month. Prior to this, our go to location was Pueblo West. Breakfast is consistently good so that's why we come. On this instance, I decided to try the Gyro meat as the breakfast protein instead of usual bacon. We got 3 paper thin strips of meat that was greasy and overcooked. We tried one piece and determined it was too leathery and tasteless to enjoy, so I informed the waiter that the gyro meat was not good asked if I could replace the two remaining pieces with bacon. He wasn't interested in apologizing or asking exactly what was wrong with it. Bacon came out and it was perfect. When we got the bill, they had not made any accommodation for the bad gyro meat and charged me an additional $3.99 for bacon. When ready to pay the bill, I asked if they would please make an adjustment for the bad gyro meat still sitting there on the table (See picture). The waiter had to confer with management for about 10 minutes then came back with a new bill minus the bacon charge. He grabbed the credit card and in a snotty tone said that this is the last time they'll do this, inferring that I must come here and ask to have my crappy food replaced all the time AND that there would ACTUALLY be a "next time". The ironic thing is that I didn't ask for free bacon, I asked for an accommodation for the bad meat I didn't eat. Plus, no manager or owner was interested enough to even come by the table to see the sub standard food or ask exactly what the issue with it was. We will no longer patronize this location and I will say the Pueblo West location has a fantastic wait staff that are truly customer focused and professional. Too bad there are managers and wait staff with this kind of attitude... it will cost them much more than the $3.99 charge they took off the bill. SMH!

Well we are back on the road and reviews will be along our route. We found this place on yelp and decided to try it. It is true 30-40 minute wait for pizza. But well worth the wait. My guy and I split a white Alfredo pizza with chicken. While our friends got a Do drop In. Pizza and lasagna. All of it was so delicious. Our server, even though she was crazy busy was very friendly and took good care of us.

    The best pizza!!

Since we hadn't been here in five years, I mentioned to our waiter how much I was craving a bowl, and he went out of his way to make it happen. That level of service alone made the visit memorable. I also ordered the Velvet Smoke mezcal cocktail, and wow, it was exceptional. Smooth, perfectly balanced, and not too strong. The smoky notes were present but not overpowering, and the nixta slate liqueurs, or heat and bitters brought everything together beautifully. Great service, great drinks, and a team that's willing to go the extra mile. Definitely worth the stop.

Housed in the old police station, they kept some jail-era decor on display -- very cool touch. Solid beer selection (their Leadhead IPA was excellent). Food is outstanding -- highly recommend their Sunday brunch (10-2). The Musso Bruch Burger came highly recommended and didn't disappoint: double smash patties pressed thin, cheddar, local chiles, and a fried egg -- super messy but totally worth it. The green chili had the perfect spice level. Friendly service and a great new brunch spot in Pueblo -- we'll be back.

I absolutely loved the scotch eggs! I skipped the Reuben bombs since I'm not a big Swiss cheese fan, but everyone else at the table really enjoyed them. I ordered the Jameson meatloaf with mashed potatoes and veggies, and it was amazing -- full of flavor and cooked perfectly. My husband and son both got the fish and chips and couldn't stop talking about how good they were. My daughter loved the kids hamburger, especially the potato chips/fries that came with it. The atmosphere was awesome, the service was top notch, and my husband and I both enjoyed a refreshing beer with lunch. I don't think there was anything wrong with the cook of the food, but the seasonings were just way off base to me. The Corned Beef was slathered with a Mustard Crème sauce that should have been served on the side. Some may like it, others will hate it. I didn't care for it. Cabbage seemed to be braised in a heavy Cayenne Pepper broth. It was inedible. The Champs were so bland that you had to shake the hell put of the Salt and Pepper. The Corned Beef without the Mustard sauce was actually pretty good, but so much was slathered with the mustard sauce that it just isn't worth ordering. Bottom line, here is how it breaks down: Service: 5/5. The bartender tonight was exceptional! Food: 3/5 at best due to the second entree ordered (fish & chips) being REALLY GOOD. Overall: 4-5*. The Fish & Chips saved this entire meal. There are a number of things to order from the menu at the bar. Obviously I would stay away from the CB, but I would definitely recommend the fish and chips! When I come back to Pueblo, I would definitely consider coming back here.

What used to feel fun and welcoming now felt uncomfortable the second we walked up. The bouncers immediately gave off a creepy, unsettling vibe. They barely spoke, just made vague hand gestures while avoiding eye contact completely. When they did say something, it was mumbled so quietly you couldn't even understand them. Right from the entrance, the whole atmosphere felt off, but since it was my birthday and I'm newly single, my girlfriends and I decided to give it a chance and try to have a good night anyway. Inside, the place felt dead for a Saturday night. We went to the dance floor, and the only person dancing was an elderly woman who looked close to 80. The energy was nonexistent. The one bright spot of the night was the female bartender near the dance floor -- she was genuinely friendly and gave us the only positive interaction we had there. After that, we walked to the other side of the bar hoping maybe the vibe would improve, but it only got worse. There were barely any people there, almost all men, and the atmosphere became even more uncomfortable. The music was terrible, the crowd felt awkward, and the whole place had this strange, unfriendly energy that made us want to leave as quickly as possible. We finished our drinks and got out of there. Walking past those same creepy bouncers on the way out honestly felt like a relief. It's sad to see a place I used to love turn into somewhere that now feels so unwelcoming and uneasy.

We were thrilled that Pueblo actually got one earlier this years. This is our first time dining at this location since their 'pre-opening' test opening. We have been hearing rumours about service issues. It was time to check it out. This is our experience: We walked in at early supper hour, The room was about 60% full. It seemed they might have been a bit short staffed. We went for their AYCE Friday fish feed. Upon inquiry, it turned out that the fish offered for AYCE is pollock, whereas that in their regular fish and chips menu offering is cod. We elected to have the fish and chips, which is actually a dollar less costly. They messed up the order, sadly. We received the pollock plate with two pieces. Turned out, our server must have grabbed the wrong plates, as the manager told us that our order sat on the counter for 30 minutes unclaimed. My wife had requested hash browns, but her plate came with fries, mine did also, despite having substituted a salad for them. The salad did come and was a decent size for a side salad. Strangely, since we got the 'AKCE' plate, which was supposed to have hushpuppies, we didn't receive those. The fish was well prepared, for what it was, but it was not cod. Coleslaw was included. I found it OK; Angelika didn't like it because it essentially had no dressing. We decided to have dessert. The mixed berry cobbler was passable. Crust was top only, nicely baked; the filling was kind of.... OK: standard canned or frozen pie filling. I ordered a chocolate malt. It was satisfactory. Plenty of it and had good chocolate and malt flavor. Our server, Erica, was pleasant, friendly and attentive, despite bringing the wrong plates. It seemed that she was probably handling too many tables, however. Service time from entry to receiving our meals was pretty standard, so no complaints about that. Upon paying, we happened to talk a bit with a woman who seemed to be the manager. She told us about the apparent error in our order. We mentioned that we are both veterans and she gave us their discount, plus comping some of the price of the meal, probably because of the error. We love Black Bear diner. We want to see our local restaurant succeed. So, give it a try, because they do seem to be working on meeting Black Bear's standards.

I've been here 3 times, and each time has been bad. Pros: I always get seated right away because no one is here. That's it. Cons: Rude service. The servers act like they don't want to be there. They are always out of what seems like half the menu. The juices are watered down. Luckily only once, but the hash browns were so overcooked I asked for less cooked ones and got soggy hashbrowns. It's a shoot to see if they have food on hand. You never see a manager walking around. The manager doesn't know how to prepare for the day's food. Always shorthand. Recommended? No. Village Inn and Cracker Barrel has better food and you know the menu will be stocked. I'm done coming here. I'll continue going to the Springs location because I always know I'll get what I want to order.
