I stopped by Do-Rite Donuts for a quick pit stop before heading over to the Skydeck, and I'm so glad I did. The gentleman behind the counter was very sweet and welcoming. With so many tempting flavors to choose from, it wasn't easy to decide, but I went with the vanilla bean glazed donut. It was so good--soft, fresh, and full of flavor. Honestly, by the time I finished it, I felt like I should've ordered a few more! I didn't have enough time to explore all the options they had, but it was the perfect quick stop, and I'll definitely be back next time to try more of their flavors.

This is my go-to donut spot in the Loop. The location is convenient. The walk-in line moves fast. The pick-up process is seamless. Most importantly, the donuts are fresh and the selection is always well-stocked. My favorites are the old-fashioned, raspberry bullseye, and raspberry paczki. I have also expanded and tried a few other flavors that I have greatly enjoyed, e.g. apple fritter and blueberry crumb. For the Christmas holiday season, they have a gift card deal in which one can receive a $10 holiday bonus card with $30 e-gift card. I would usually take advantage and use the bonus and gift cards to splurge on donuts and/or fried chicken sandwich.

It's been a while since I've been to this location. The donuts are good but expensive 20$ for 6 donuts is a lot. Service is okay, not very friendly or welcoming.

    Spicy chicken and Boston cream

Was told they serve way more than donuts and to check out their spicy chicken sandwich so I had to stop in. Decided to get it all, trying the spicy sandwich and the Boston cream. The sandwich was well made and I liked the flavor, but unfortunately didn't live up to the spiciness I was expecting or hoping for. Thankfully there was hot sauce to give me a bit of what I had been hankering for. My Boston cream was a nice treat a few hours later when I was ready for round 2. The donuts here are definitely on the sweet side, so you'll be hard pressed to eat more than one... which is never a bad thing. The staff was all really nice and I appreciated them explaining the menu to me as a newbie.

Had a great lunch at this place. Was not sure what to get so I went with the spicy ranch chicken sandwich ( added bacon and cheddar), spicy tenders, fries, and cinnamon old fashion. Really good stuff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a take out spot located inside the Willis Towers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lots of communal seating with a glass roof Looking up at the building. It's a pretty cool view. Staff was friendly and food was quick. I'll be back for sure

Not a lot of breakfast options in the Willis tower but Do-Rite fits the bill and has solid egg breakfast sandwiches on brioche bun. A food alternative to donuts. Despite having a lot of customers they turn over very quickly so you get your food and get on with your day. Eat in the food hall general area or take up into the building if you have access .

    Gluten Free Chocolate Glazed Donut

I got a gluten free chocolate glazed donut and it was the best gluten free donut I've ever had! The outside was crunchy and the inside was soft. The chocolate glazed was the perfect amount as the donut was quite thick. I am regretting not getting more!

This is located in a mall-like venue inside Willis Tower. Friendly and prompt service with no wait in line! I ordered the egg and cheese sandwich on brioche and it was well made, fresh, hot, and delicious.

We had a family picnic and ordered GF donuts for delivery. They were delicious and I couldn't even tell the difference.

Birthday Cake Donut and Old fashioned
    Jaison J.

Whenever you're in the city, a stop at Do-Rite Doughnuts is always a win. On this visit, the selection was limited to just old fashioned and vanilla birthday cake, but honestly both were delicious and totally hit the spot. The old fashioned had that classic, perfectly sweet bite, and the vanilla birthday cake was fun and nostalgic. I was hoping for more variety since we went early afternoon, but it just gives me an excuse to come back and try the other flavors next time!

They have literally the BEST gluten free donuts I've ever tried (across four different states)! They had 3 flavors around lunch time on a Tuesday: cinnamon sugar, chocolate frosted, and birthday cake (white frosting with sprinkles). They are LARGE yeasted donuts that are fluffy, have some additional glaze on the side, have no weird after taste and remind me of the regular donuts I have been so sorely missing. As the show Severance has taught us, I enjoyed each of them equally. They're also still good to enjoy a day later. Highly highly recommend and I'm sad I don't live in the area to enjoy them all the time. Service was incredibly friendly and quick as well and they have other food items besides regular and gluten free donuts.

Do-Rite Donuts & Chicken is a standout in Chicago's vibrant donut scene, offering a delightful fusion of classic and inventive flavors that cater to a wide range of tastes. Do-Rite's donuts are crafted in small batches throughout the day, ensuring freshness and quality and let me tell yall they're to die for! lol The fat girl inside me was in heaven! lol And she also knew we better run the next morning- be we originally stopped here just for a coffee with was amazing as well by the way! So if you're in Chicago definitely give them a try! Donut let anyone steal your joy!!

Best (small) chain donut shop in Chicago... great selection, and they avoid the overthetop overly sweet.

Both were delish! The glazed donut was fluffy, sweet and my fave. My husband loved his old fashioned donut! He said it was crunchy yet moist. We also both got the Hot N' Spicy chicken sandwich which was so good!! Flavorful and spicy, with toppings that helped add some freshness to it. Pair it with a soft brioche bun, and this sandwich was heavenly! Def check this spot out for breakfast! One of the best places we tried while in Chicago!

Pulled up just before 6:30 AM on a weekday and there were just a few folks ahead of us in line, but service is quick. Cake donuts were actually pretty solid here; the Blueberry Cake Donut was the best item, super soft and moist with a good amount of berries throughout. The Pistachio Cake Donut for some reason was texturally firmer and drier than the other. Unfortunately, the fried donuts were all misses. The dough was just really dense and none of the toppings really hit. The Glazed Donut just made me sad that the dough was bad and the bacon on the Maple Bacon Donut wasn't crispy, so you got a cold, chewy, greasy bite that wasn't super pleasant. The chopped dough pieces in the Apple Fritter were also oddly firm instead of soft. For a place with rave reviews, I was pretty bummed by the donuts, but maybe the fried chicken sandwich is where it's at.

Recommended some items to us and after hearing we were on a donut tour, even threw in a freebie. Only outdoor seating available, but the weather was perfectly lovely. Everything led up to (finally) some lovely, super soft fluffy fried donuts. Glazed Donut and Strawberry Glazed Donut were exactly the pillowy, yeasted texture I was looking for and the latter even had a little extra tartness from the strawberries, which you could tell was made from real fruit! The Lemon Poppyseed Cake Donut ended up being a banger as well; great balance between sweet and sour, not dry at all, and cross between crumbly and a melt in your mouth texture. The Apple Fritter was the only miss. Had an odd aftertaste that almost reminded me of curry powder and was texturally super hard, like bits of cardboard.

We didn't have reservations, but I believe they take them. Luckily we were seated right away without any issues. They are known for their Asian cuisine. Think Taiwanese fried chicken sandwiches, Japanese mochi donuts, ube, vietnamese coffee, etc. What I tried: - Mochi donuts (1 strawberry, 1 chocolate) ; so fresh! 10/10 - Strawberry/peach lemonade boba; Extremely sweet, but good! Staff was super kind from start to finish. The only downside (which is big) - it is pretty dirty around the restaurant. With all the white, you can unfortunately spot things quicker. When we arrived, the hostess/waitress asked if we had a reservation and I told her no but there were literally only 2 tables being occupied at the time, so she had us wait until she cleared another table. The menu gave a hibachi vibe, they had teriyaki bowls, unwich sushi rolls, soup, and specialty drinks but no fountain or canned drinks. I wanted the salmon and everyone else was getting chicken but that didn't happen because they were out of salmon. Really wasn't feeling the other options, so we canceled our order and left. I would definitely give the place another try but maybe earlier in the day and a different location.
