Its original location is inside of SummerHouse in Lincoln Park but this is the first stand alone location of Cookie Bar. Great location downtown. Very small inside but lavished by their beautiful spread of cookies and, to my surprise, they even offer soft serve. Something for me to explore next time lol. So many cookies to choose from but I refrained from getting all of them. Decided on two: Sea Salt Chocolate Chip and their coconut Chocolate Chip. I only had to have a bite of the Sea Salt Chocolate Chip to already know that my summer mission is going to be to try all of their flavors. Soft, chewy and just the right thickness. Already excited to go back.

I've been to the cookie bar at the full restaurant location and always grab a cookie or 2 before leaving. This was my first visit to the Streeterville location and I was happy to see the selection was just as big as the restaurant one. We bought a total of 4 cookies and a cookie cup. For the individual cookies we choose the snickerdoodle, red velvet, s'mores and sea salt caramel. It was late when we got home, so we stored the cookies in a Tupperware. The next day they were still fresh and did not harden. Each was delicious. The variety in cookie cup was also good. We will definitely be back!

Decided to stop by The Cookie Bar for a quick snack and was excited to see they offered a vegan option. The cookie was pretty good and definitely hit the spot. It's more of a grab and go place since there's no seating, but the staff was friendly and welcoming. They had a great variety of options, so I'd definitely come back to try some of the regular cookies next time.

This was next to the ramen place and I mean why not? I decided to eat soft serve on the walk back and get a cookie for later. The cookie was beautiful, but a little hard around the edges. Definitely worth a stop by to get out of the wind.

Highly underestimated the size of these cookie. They are gigantic and I loved every crumble. I tried the lemon glazed and s'mores. Place is compact with not much wiggle room but we were in and out within 5 minutes. Would definitely try again.

Walked in and it smelled so good and so many options of cookies even vegan options as well. I got their raspberry cream cookie and original chocolate chip cookie. The raspberry cream cheese cookie was a win for us, it was really big and soft. There is a seating area very small outside but no place inside. The service could have been better but at least the cookies were good.

This is a new happening cookie place! I walked by and said on my way back I have to go in! They also have ice cream and coffees . It was a small store front where u see cookies on shelves in back! My daughter and I bought two different cookies and split them in half. I loved the cookie

I love the cookies from Summer House Santa Monica when they warm them up at the restaurant - specifically chocolate chip and rice krispe one - so was sad to see they didn't have that one in store, but they have other desserts on the menu as well as coffee options. This used to be the Epic burger a few years back, and the space is designed to be: you order at the counter and take out. There's no seating inside, but a few seats right outside lining the window. Friendly service and the line moves quickly. We got a strawberry shake and it was SO tasty. Very thick, and yes, very sweet. You can also get any cookie turned into a soft serve, which I will definitely get next time. Excited this place opened up for your sweet cravings!

What a super cute place. In a small corner only visible from the Main Street, this small cookie bakery hides. With seating outside the service was fast and fulfilling.

Cookies were cold like they were frozen. Each cookie we tried were overly sweet with little flavor other than sugar.

Juan, owner, is a celebrity chef on Netflix for his savory cookie recipes! https://www.instagram.com/pastrychefjuan?igsh=cWY3aDcxbzl4ejA1 He was so gracious and humble and showcases his delicious cookies right here in the heart of downtown Chicago right off Michigin Avenue and Huron Street and pretty much across the street from the Harry Potter store and lots of beautiful shops on Michigan Avenue in Streeterville. When you go inside you immediately are greeted by 2 lovely people who are friendly and super sweet and nice: Joy and Dylan! Then you have the hard working other helpers in black uniforms making the cookies with the chef, Juan. The location is excellent and close to Northwestern University Hospital and the shops on 900 N. Michigan Ave. and all the local and touristy spots are right here. The decor in the store is beautiful and pleasant and clean. They just open one month ago and today is September 29, 2025 so give them some love and stop by and pick up some cookies because you won't regret it. Happiness to your five senses are all in this cute little store. So the cookies are actually very very good. You can smell the aroma as soon as you walk into the store and they are gigantic. Once you get closer to the cookies, you can see how beautiful they are. They also do thematic cookies based on holidays and special days and so wait for Halloween for example and come back then also! I personally love the oatmeal apple cookies because it's chewy but also Plush and lots of apple bits that are real and then my second favorite is the lemon cookie with icing and I also really enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie because it has the chewy texture on the outside rims and the chocolate was very good. Come by the store and buy some cookies bc you will savor every bite.

I wasted six dollars on the worst cookie I've ever had. It tasted stale and dry. Shameful that they even tried to sell it.

It's located opposite of the cash register and menu. Service was friendly. Washroom (restroom, bathroom search terms) available. Decent amount of seating, serving as a solid space to study or get work done. Black Sesame Matcha Latte - while the black sesame graininess settled at the bottom expectedly, the matcha was clearly whisked well. There were no clumps of bitterness to be found. Despite sugar adjustments, this was still very sweet so I'd classify the spot as more desserty rather than strong matcha or a cafe. Though I'm happy to be proven wrong with their regular matcha in the future.

We walked into a casual and modern space that works well for stopping by after a meal or meeting up with friends for something sweet. The interior is bright and clean, with a relaxed energy that makes it easy to settle in for a dessert without feeling rushed. The menu has a wide range of options, from shaved ice and mango sago to cakes and other fruit desserts, making it easy to find something depending on your mood. The mango mille crepe cake is one of the highlights and a great representation of what the shop does well. We ordered a slice and found the cake made with thin layers of crepe stacked together with cream and fresh mango, creating a texture that feels light while still being satisfying. The layers are soft and delicate, and the mango adds a bright fruitiness that keeps the dessert from feeling overly heavy or too sweet. The balance between the creamy layers and the fresh mango flavor made it feel more refreshing than a traditional cake, especially with the mango being ripe and fragrant. It was also one of the better choices for sharing, as the slice was generous enough to pass around the table. Beyond the mille crepe cake, the menu has plenty of variety with options like mango shaved ice, mango sticky rice, and fruit-based drinks. We appreciated that the desserts are presented carefully, making the experience feel more like a sit-down dessert stop rather than just grabbing something quick. The shaved ice was light and fluffy, with a good amount of mango and toppings that added texture without overwhelming the base. The fruit-based drinks were also refreshing and served as a nice palate cleanser between the richer desserts. The shop can get busy, especially after dinner hours, but the line usually moves along at a steady pace. The staff handled the flow efficiently, and the turnover was fast enough that even with a small wait, we were seated quickly. The seating area is comfortable, and the energy of the room stays lively without becoming too loud. Mango Mango Dessert is a solid Chinatown dessert destination if you are looking for fruit-forward sweets with a lighter, refreshing style. The mango mille crepe cake is a must-try for first visits and one of the items that best captures the appeal of the menu, offering a dessert that feels both visually appealing and satisfying to eat.

Are you guys ready for this review??…read more So my partner decided we are going to china town for lunch with his mom and sister. Family day in the city, DURING A SNOWSTORM!! We arrive, place is closed, will open in 10 mins. Perfect, we go to a near by shop and I spot some demon hunter Stanley cups!! I get them of course! We head to lunch, everything is great! As we are heading out, my partners sister spots Te'amo! I ask if she's ever had mochi donuts. She hasn't, so of course we must stop in because everyone needs to try them at least once!!! We order at the kiask and patiently wait for our order. We get our order and leave....leaving the bag with the Stanley's behind!!! We don't realize this until we are home (45 mins away)! I immediately call, no answer, call again, no answer. I decide to DM their instagram page and guess what??? THEY HAD THE CUPS!!! Here I was thinking $150 in cups were gone. But they had them!!! A miracle!! 10/10 stars!! Anyway! I highly recommend the brûlée ube milk tea and the ube mochi donuts!!
