First time tried this place . I ordered a lobster benedict and it was totally different on the instagram picture that they posted themselves. My dish look a mess and cold but can say the taste are not bad but still not worth 22$ . I also ordered avocado toast (which say it's best seller ) but it's taste nothingn, the bread was cold and hard with a layer of avocado smashed on the top . I really wanted to like this place based on reviews I read on independent local Facebook groups & food photos Dined on 7/14/18. Ordered Crabby avocado toast, quite salty, not much lump crab meat for $15, maybe a tablespoon's worth, & too much Avocado spread Water glass had a fishy odor & I couldn't even drink from it My dining partner ordered chicken taco & didn't even finish it. The chicken meat was so super-white in color I thought it might be crab meat instead. The meat was not marinated in any kind of taco sauce or flavoring, the entire dish was tasteless. Waitress offered, after the fact, some salsa verde, but that just wasn't enough. The chicken's appearance concerned me, as if it came from a can & had just been rinsed off with no prep at all. Beautiful setting and probably some of the nicest servers in Ocean City. Except for the coffee, food was quite a disappointment. The home fries were hard, my quiche could have spent another 5 minutes in the oven and the very fatty bacon was undercooked (a very BAD combination). We ate breakfast there last week, and must say this place is not as good as previous "McGlades" was. The morning menu offers french toast for $12 each. No short stack available - who can eat a half a loaf of bread (3 full Texas sized slices) for breakfast? And the inside of the french toast was not cooked - should have been cooked at lower temp and longer. We split one orange juice and the tab for that with 2 french toast entrees was $30 - way too expensive for breakfast. And didn't come with the melon slice mentioned on the menu, and always provided by McGlades. What you are paying for here is the water view, the food isn't worth it! read more

Wonderful deck right in the bay, great food & service. We had the spinach & veggie omelets - excellent! Fresh squeezed orange juice, excellent. Buttermilk pancakes, light & fluffy. Our waitress, Mackenzie was lovely. Our new favorite for breakfast & lunch. read more

Beautiful view! Customer service is good. Very convenient after spending time at the Aqua Park. Meals were well cooked and served warm. Unlike Stone Harbor / Avalon, where there are plenty of places on the bayside to eat, there are very few choices in OC for bayside eating. Thank goodness we found Dockside Kitchen. It's a great breakfast/lunch place. Rather than serving up the usual Shore breakfast fare (like Uncle Bill's and its ilk), the dishes at Dockside are really interesting. The hash browns are actually diced potatoes, nicely browned with rosemary. The sausage omelet has a really interesting sausage (I think it's andouille) rather than the usual boring breakfast sausage. French toast is yummy, with crispy edges. Coffee is pretty good - not the usual swill they serve at breakfast places. The view, breeze, and size are just right, and the servers are very nice and prompt. A perfect beginning to a day at the Shore! read more

Place gets 3 because of the location I ordered the avocado blt. More lettuce and they put 2 big tomato ends on the sandwich. I had to remove them and cut with a knife just so I could eat it. My toast was Burt my wife enjoyed her omelet As we were sitting there the waitress started to dump glasses of water and soda over the rail onto the water was not happy with that plus it caused the sea gulls to hover very unprofessional We also heard two waitress talking about customers with negative comments. . Very cute covered patio. Good menu. Nice server and histesss. I ordered the crabby avocado toast and the bread so hard that I couldn't cut it with the serrated steak knife that they gave me nor could I bite it. I scraped the tablespoon of avocado from the toast along with the less than one ounce of crab meat and called it a day. So I'd say for my $16 it wasn't a great meal. Server was nice but didn't offer to refill coffee or water. Left both hungry and thirsty. Don't think I will go back. read more

Simply yum and more upscale in breakfast food than you might think for dockside breakfast dining! My husband had lobster eggs benedict, which looked absolutely decadent. I had crabcakes on my salad which was pretty much mostly crab and not a lot of filler. Will be coming back! read more

I'm between a 3 and 4, but bumped up to the 4 for the friendly staff. The view is wonderful but there are definitely still some kinks to be worked out. The wait to be seated was as expected, but it was almost 10 minutes after being seated before we saw our server. The time waiting for food after our order was taken was longer than it should've been and the plates served were a little sloppy. I had eggs Benedict - the eggs were not properly poached and there were large egg shell pieces underneath one of the eggs. Another member of the party had very undercooked bacon. Food was good. Decent portion sizes. Wait was long (said 30 minutes, took 50 minutes). VERY small dining room, so hope I you get nice neighbors! Was served bad milk with chunks in it. They replaced it with a new glass, but still charged us for it ($2.69). For $1 more I could go to Acme and buy an entitre gallon! If you serve rancid milk, you should take it off the bill. $40 for breakfast for two... expensive! read more

We ate here last week with a group of 17, and it was wonderful. I called in advance to let them know we were coming and that we also had a handicapped member of the family. They could not have been sweeter or more accommodating. The food was also awesome. They have very interesting menu options; things you do not see anywhere else. I would recommend the salmon BLT. This was by far the best group-outing we had. It was a wonderful setting, we had truly great service, and the food was top notch. PLEASE give them a try. You will not regret. read more

I came for lunch today and got the avocado BLT. It was absolutely delicious. The bacon was so good, and the lettuce, tomatoes, and avocados were so fresh an ripe. Great food, beautiful location. Saw this place on Instagram and had to give it a try while on vacation. So glad we did! Waitstaff was attentive and friendly. We came for breakfast and had the French toast and blueberry pancakes. Delicious coffee was served in a nice big mug. You can't beat the view watching the boats and enjoying the pleasant breeze. Visited Dockside for breakfast 8/17. We all had excellent food and a great view also. Slightly warm that morning but Ok. Very good coffee, coffee shop quality. Blueberry Pancakes, and fruit were fantastic. The breakfast potatoes were perfectly cooked. Daughter had the avocado toast, which she loved, lots of avocado and interesting bacon. Although it was warm with a wait line, the staff was very professional, great service. We visited last year also, and had same great food and service. read more

My family has been going to OC for a long time and are happy to say we found a new staple. The food and the view were a great way to start our day. My wife and I ate at the Dockside Kitchen on 8/18/2018. We arrived at approximately 10:30a. The hostess, Val was wonderful. She was right on with the wait time, approx 35 mins. We were seated at the counter seating overlooking the water. What a beautiful view. Our waitress, Sam was terrific. Our meals came out fast and tasted amazing. What a great experience we had dining at the Dockside Kitchen. If your in Ocean City put this place on your list. You won't be disappointed. read more

Had breakfast about 10:30 AM on a beautiful morning. The view is spectacular and the hostess and waitress were very personable and efficient. My wife had the pancakes which were thin, light and delicious with a few berries/fruit on the side. I had the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel with home fries. Great sandwich made with spicy chorizo sausage which gave it a nice "kick". Home fries were really good too. Only complaint would be the prices which were steep. However the service, food quality and view made for a nice experience. read more

One of the few waterfront dining options around. Great staff and service. We went for breakfast and being on the water always makes for a better experience. The eggs and sausage were great (hard to mess that up) but I have to say the potatoes were a tad undercooked and lacking in flavor, but the side of fried onions and peppers helped big time. Went here three times this summer for breakfast. Once each by bike, wave runner and boat. Just what we needed in OC, a dockside breakfast place! Only thing is there is only one spot for public boats to dock, definitely need more. Food was amazing all times! Waitresses were quick, friendly and attentive. Portions are huge and fresh! My family and I have been going to OCNJ for over 10 years and are always looking for new restaurants to try. SO glad to have found this one and will definitely be going back! the only vegan option is avocado toast which is fine and expected except for that the avocado toast is not good, it's like 95% tomato / pico de gallo. Can get way better $11 avocado toast literally anywhere else. read more
