Finding a good vet that is at a privately owned hospital has been a challenge and after reading their website and hearing good things from a couple of colleagues, I drove over an hour each way for appointments with each of my dogs. I saw Dr. Cauvel and was very impressed with his knowledge, he recognized it was better for me to handle my super excitable malinois vs have her go into the back for her vaccination, and most importantly, when I presented him with a more complex issue on one of my dogs and I presented my thoughts, he didn't treat me like my background was somehow a threat like I have experienced before. He went out of his way to review some information and photos I emailed after the appointment and we decided on what to try. I was really thrilled with my experience with this vet at this practice with both of my dogs, and despite the drive will definitely be coming back for future needs.

Our dog had a mastectomy last Friday with Dr. Newhouse, and she & her team kept us updated throughout the day regarding her care and how she was doing. We were concerned about her surgical site and we easily were able to message the team with photos and our concerns. They were able to triage our concerns via messaging, making it more efficient and cost effective compared to going to a traditional vet office. Their pricing also isn't that bad. Jessie walked in, got down on the floor, and introduced herself to Toast like they were old friends, not sworn enemies. Toast actually relaxed (I didn't know she had that setting at the vet). He's been there many times for other issues, and the care he received in the past has always been excellent. When we checked in, there was only one animal ahead of us. It's a nice waiting area. Everything was clean and spotless. We waited about 15 minutes before being put in a room. There was only one Dr. on site, but luckily, they weren't too busy. Dr. Beard and her vet techs took excellent care of my boy. He apparently was having an asthma flare-up. They gave him a sedative shot, since he was being a bit spicy. He hates going to the Dr., just like other pets. They gave him oxygen and a steroid shot. They also took x-rays to be sure there were no foreign objects in his throat. Luckily, all the x-rays were clear. They monitored him, and we were able to take him home after he stabilized. The staff are wonderful here. They treat your pet as if it were their own. Dr. Beard and her team helped make my baby feel better, and I'm so grateful for their compassion and love for all animals. You can tell these folks love what they do. Adobe will always be our number one place to go to for an emergency.

I have called to inquire about it several times, and have been told that "no one has access to the Facebook page." I don't think that's accurate, as several areas of the site have been updated well after 2020. Should I write to the California Veterinary Board to ask them why? The information is incorrect. In addition, his premises license was revoked at the same time.

Everything felt rushed, and I wasn't given a chance to fully understand or consent meds given. Communication and transparency need serious improvement. Would not recommend. They are there to bag the money doesn't seem to care about pets.

Just paid $350 to have no exam done but for my cat do be drugged and stressed out for days. They will only examine your cat if your cat is 100% docile or pumped full of potentially fatal sedatives. If your cat so much as flinches or growls (which any cat-owner knows is normal at a vet!), they will refuse to do an exam. They claim it's because they don't want to stress out your cat, but let's be real. Five minutes of being burritoed is way less stressful for most kitties than having drugs in their system for days, especially if they've got kidney problems and/or are elderly like my fur-baby. Save your time and money, don't go here. Make sure to call vets ahead of time to see what their procedures are. I would have done that if I'd thought such a nonsensical thing were even a possibility (which it never has been with any other vet).
