I've been to Shoreline twice now, and have switched both my dogs to Shoreline from a more corporate veterinary practice. This is a very caring practice. My dogs were fussed over and praised and every effort was made to make them feel comfortable. Both had blood taken, and neither noticed it as it was happening. The techs are highly competent as well as very kind. Dr. Marzan continues to be both warm and highly knowledgeable. They don't work with Chewy and seems to not understand the technology and the convenience it provides to their customers. They told me that they work with Chewy and all I need to do is to get the fax number from Chewy. And Chewy doesn't have one. Chewy's website recognizes Shoreline, but it indicates that they decided not to work with Chewy, so the prescription must be mailed in. It feels like the customers' convenience is not their priority. The place is new and clean, but it felt a bit like a factory where they looked at my pet as an ATM. One doctor was very friendly. The other one was tense and seemed very stressed. No smile, no greeting. They don't need to, but it wouldn't hurt. Staffs were nice after making the payment. Little bit disappointed since I thought I found a nice little new veterinarian. read more

Dr. Christine and all of the staff have been truly amazing! First of all, Dr. Christine and her staff truly listened to what my concerns were and asked questions regarding what was going on. They tried to truly understand the issue before just jumping in and recommending something they sell. Additionally, Dr. Christine called me with test results personally and seemed like she truly wanted to get my dog the help he needed (nothing urgent but a couple of things in his bloodwork weren't great and she wanted to get him an additional test as soon as possible!) and lastly, I have a very friendly dog but at the last vet he would get soooo nervous he wouldn't even let them touch him very much. With Dr. Christine's staff he practically jumps in their arms when he sees them and he's still nervous but he wants to interact with them when at the previous office he would try to get away from the staff! I highly recommend Dr. Christine and her whole staff! The office is beautiful and very clean and I don't feel like my dog is just another patient, it truly feels like they are there to care for him. read more

Vet visits are always stressful with this guy but the clinic made everything super comfortable and easy! Although he was nervous, they offered him lots of different types of treats and took it real slow with him. He's normally pretty aggressive for treatments but he was begging them for snacks after his vaccines! The facility is beautiful and all the staff are incredibly friendly (they ALL gave our guy treats). They gave me a handout to fill out about Champ's favorite toys, treats, etc to make it an even better experience for him next time! Overall, the least stressful vet visit we've had in a while! I used to see shoreline pet hosptial (I changed vets 6 months ago). I honestly don't think these guys are that good. They put my dog on a pescription diet because she kept throwing up and having diaria. Over the course of 3 or 4 months, her weight went from 45lbs to 64 lbs. I saw the vets at shoreline hospital on at least one occasion during this time and pointed it out and felt that they largely ignored it. The food they put her on did not prevent the dieria by the way (she still had a spout about 5 months into it. Then they diagnosed her with low thyroid (even though there is no connection between diaria and thyroid), and also blamed her weight on the low thyroid. I changed vets, and adjusted her diet (these guys did not realize that I was following hte instructions on the bag for how much to give her, and those instructions need to be adjusted per dog). I have since reduced her calory inteake and My dog now weights 56, and her weight is dropping. Unfortunately, the weight issues might have triggered arthritus. Long story short, I don't think these guys are the best. Unfortunately for my dog, their inability to properly diagnose and treat my dogs health problems her situtation worse (instead of just dealing with her throwing up and having diaria once in a while.... my dog still has that issue, but now, she's still overweight and has full-blown arthitus). read more

Not sure if I'll be coming back. Overall the staff and care were great and Dr Marzan made sure I understood everything. The reason I'm hesitant to go back is because one of the vet assistants wasn't very helpful when putting in an IV for my dog. From the beginning she was nice to me but didn't really pet my dog or really even acknowledge her. My dog was already stressed and needed some comfort which she didn't get from her and didn't get the entire IV which I was a bit upset about. Dr. Yee and the team at Shoreline Pet Hospital are terrific! I have a senior dog, Lucky (13 yrs old), who is anxious and skiddish but they are very patient with him. We first met Dr. Yee at Los Altos Veterinary and she was great. Incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. You can tell she really cares about each animal as her exams are very comprehensive and she talks you through all the findings and recommendations. When she opened up Shoreline Pet Hospital and moved over here we knew we wanted to continue seeing her. The staff here is so friendly and gave Lucky plenty of treats throughout the entire visit to make sure he was comfortable.
