My rental is my only source of income so when the cleaners were late or things were broken and not fixed because I was not notified, guests would not have the best experience. I even caught one group of Mexican cleaners putting sheets just in dryer and not even washing them! That's when I started doing all the laundry myself! Unfortunately, some circumstances in my life caused me to not be able to actively manage the rental as I use to. I was in dire need of people who could do more, get the job done, and communicate with me and let me know they hear me when I communicate with them. Finding Vacation rental assistance was a complete miracle for me. Not only are they on top of the cleaning, (and all linens are provided by them and taken off sight for professional laundering) but many smaller maintenance issues as well and making sure the hot tub is cleaned and serviced between every set of guests. Their pricing is extremely fair, and I believe they earn it by keeping me informed of anything needed so I'm consistently receiving 5 star reviews from my guests. Which results in more bookings! I get pictures of any issues noticed after a guest leaves, which takes away a lot of stress! When they heard my beloved dog died, I even received flowers and a card. That's special. The professionalism via pre and post inspection reports, and ability to have a 24 hour on call handy man if you choose really makes owning a vacation rental much less stressful. Thanks to VRA I'm able to focus on my own healing and do more of giving back to my community. They are the most thorough, polite, professional, fair, people I've met in this industry, and I'm really so grateful for their whole team from the top down.

They basically are your own cabins with the fire place in each room and bunk beds for the kids. Very close to multiple ski resorts and very close to downtown truckee. Very clean, spacious and the guy I spoke with on the phone that manages the place is great to work with, I'm guessing he is the owner. Self check in with code at the doors to rooms make it easy. 10/10 recommend. Not a lot of snow right now but we will definitely be back with the family again next time we have a lot of snow. Possibly may even come back during summer to enjoy the lake. Price is reasonable, definitely worth every penny.

They are easy to work with and seem to care about their renters. Booking was easy and when there were a few [minor] issues with the house when we arrived, they were right on top of things. Unfortunately, while you can get access to the golf course (must contact TSP in advance to set this up and extra costs incurred) you cannot access any of the other amenities. This may not be important to you, but as a family with two young kids, there was a lot of disappointment about being 20+ minutes away from any swimming options in the June heat. We tried to contact TSP to remedy this, but were told there was no solution and our fault for assuming that golf access meant access to golf clubhouse (along with activities listed that included "swimming" for the property). It does appear that they have made the lack of included amenities more clear on the listing now, so for that I am grateful to have improved the experience for any future families looking for a good summer spot for kids -- would look elsewhere. The house itself is decently maintained, kitchen is well stocked for a rental (no basics like sugar, butter, oil etc.), the beds were comfortable, ample space. The layout is a little weird with two bedrooms on ground floor and the master off the kitchen. Although the house backs up to the golf course, there is no access to the course from the house (except through bushes) so there was very little outdoor space for kids to run around. We had an issue with the front door that TSP responded to quickly.

The residences offer ski-in and ski-out privileges without the need to haul your ski or snowboard gear. Constellation is spacious yet warm. The electric fireplace and heated bathroom floors are a perk. Front desk staff is friendly, helpful, and professional (thanks, Katie). The lobby is stocked with bottled water, apples, and warm cookies - the little touches made our stay extra special. Large fully equipped kitchen and bar. A stemwear collection that will rival any bar... except no champagne flutes. The large living room has an entertainment center, gas fireplace and huge modular seating area. Flat screen TV's in each bedroom require a CD player or laptop to watch your own movies. Impossible to reach management / Predatory policies…read more Extremely disappointed in the management at Truckee Donner Lodge. I spent an entire week trying to resolve a travel issue caused by extreme weather and highway closures. The front desk repeatedly claimed the manager was 'unavailable' and refused to help with an Expedia modification, despite the hotel being unreachable due to the storm. They are hiding behind 'non-refundable' fine print to profit off of families who are stuck behind road closures. There are many other lodges in Truckee that actually care about their guests and understand mountain logistics--stay elsewhere.

It could definitely use a bit of a make over especially when prices are on the high side for holidays but we enjoy going.
