They have a solid all beef dog so when it comes to picking which type of sausage to get, I think u can't go wrong with all beef. The cowboy dog with all beef and on Kings Hawaiian roll is bomb. I also like their bad ass breakfast burritos. My number one pic is the pastrami, but the bronco is a great second choice. This time I didn't get any avocado inside the bronco even though it's advertised that it has avocado. The spicy mayo and the spicy basil aïoli are great additions to the burritos. The secret sauce is more tangy and on the sweet side. Tater tots are always crispy! read more

Aw... well I hate to give less than 5 stars, but gotta keep things 100. To begin the service was very... unenthusiastic. I don't know that I need the people at the counter to be excited that I'm there (which if I were them, I would've been because there was literally no one else there when we arrived), but I would appreciate it if I didn't feel like we were encroaching upon their private time at home or something like that. I think I still would've given them at least 4 stars if the food was amazing. The sad thing is that it wasn't. Our buns were extremely soggy and toppings were just... messy. We came for Happy Hour and we're not happy! Out of 20 taps, 9 were empty (all of the good beers). Happy Hour was a complete let down, no discount for food (sliders were the same price along with the wings). The place was completely empty for a Sunday afternoon. The hot dogs were dried out (cooked previously), bread was stale. Person at the counter wasn't acknowledgeable about the beer that was offered. The place was clean, music was not too loud. Our total cost for for our happy hour meal was $46 (2 beers, So Cali (wasn't cooked to order, heated by the food lamp), a plain hot dog with a slice of cheese (also cold), cheese wasn't melted, and an order of sweet potatoes fries. We've been customers of the original Dog Haus in Pasadena since they've opened and this is the first time we've had such a bad experience. read more

What could improve? Honestly, everything. This location gave both my mom and me food poisoning. Looking back, the poor customer service should've been my sign to leave. The restaurant was completely empty, yet I still waited 10 minutes just to place my order, and another 25 minutes for a burrito and corn dog. On top of that, they forgot the condiments, so I had to go back. The food itself wasn't too terrible, but it definitely wasn't good either. I managed to eat about half of the hangover burrito only because I was starving, and gave the rest to my mom. Unfortunately, we both ended up sick afterward. Getting food poisoning is bad enough, but getting it from mediocre food makes it even worse. What's disappointing is that this seems specific to this location. Really great quality hot dogs being served here. Every ingredient on here was of great quality and I greatly appreciate that. If your a hot dog fan like me, come check them out, an absulote must. Stopped by and picked up a hot dog and onion rings for lunch around noon. The resteraunt was not busy at all and got to order my meal right away. After 10 minutes of waiting, my lunch was out. My hot dog was on a sweet roll and IT WAS INCREDIBLE. The beef franks were very flavorful with a great snap when biting into the dog. Bacon was a great touch along with the grilled onions and peppers. Overall, easily a 9/10 hot dog. The onion rings were also very good. A 8 out of 10 on those. Overall I would come back again but after work so I could enjoy a nice cold hazy ipa. The resteraunt itself had a great vibe to dine in or outside. When I arrived another customer had said they didn't get their drink/werent charged for it. The worker rolled their eyes and thats when I figured he wasn't going to give good customer service. His attitude seemed very off and was on his phone a good portion of the time we were there, while the other employee made the food. I ordered a simple hot dog but he charged me for one of the pricier options and when told if I can get a different version which was cheaper, he told me he couldn't because of "the system". Ended up just getting a different item. They also forgot our drink but they didnt give it to us when we asked for it. Just seemed like a poor environment overall compared to other Dog Haus locations. Ive never had a burger so good at any other burger joint, although they do sell the fries separately I will say ordering them is essential as they are always nice and warm! We were running errands in Northridge and came across this location. The husband then of course chose it for our late lunch. We walked into an almost empty restaurant. One customer was already enjoying his meal while watching TV. We waited at the counter for a few minutes when someone in the back finally noticed us. We ordered two Fonz BABBs (our favorite) and onion rings. After getting situated at a table, an influx of customers came in. This seemed to have overwhelmed the staff. Although we weren't in a rush, we were quite hungry. When our order finally came out, the team member apologized for the wait. We appreciated that. Our food was fresh, well-prepared and delicious. We were very happy to experience this consistency across locations. Something that was not consistent was the cleanliness -- the tables had food crumbs and grease marks. I don't typically leave bad reviews because I like to lead with kindness, but my dinner experience at Dog Haus tonight was so disappointing that I must. I ordered food for my wife and three kids. Their meals came out but my meal hadn't arrived. I told them to start eating and after about 15 minutes of waiting, I went to check on it. I waited an additional 5 minutes in line only for the server to tell me he didn't ring it up. He tried to argue with me about it when I am 100% certain that we ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and not one. I didn't get a receipt from him so I couldn't confirm it. Finally he brought my sandwich but my family was already done eating, and he never apologized. Completely missed having dinner with my family. Mistakes happen, but he should not have tried to shift the blame, and an apology would've gone a long way. In total I waited 25 minutes from the time my family got their food for me to get mine. The food here is amazing, but the customer service is some of the worse I've experienced in a very long time. read more

I returned to Dog Haus about 4 months ago. I was excited to be back there Valley nearby. Unfortunately, it's since been sold, keeping its name, but the food is not the same. I ordered my standard fave but, products have changed (the formerly amazing brioche bun for one), and as I watched the the eggs being cooked for sandwiches add-ons the person cooking the eggs killed them again by overcooking them to the point that not only would there be no unctious yolk to ooze through your sandwich, but it was more like a little yellow hockey puck. Seeing that going on, I opted to avoid my regular egg add-on. In any event, this formerly amazing dog now tastes like maybe the new owner changed at least a couple of the products to reduce costs. The sandwich on the new bread offering doesn't hold anything in so you cannot even get a bite of all the flavors at once since it spills all over inside the bag. Staff are still super nice but that doesn't make the meal worth spending hard-earned money or splurging calories on. Sorry folks, this one now really is in the dog house. read more

They were super friendly and welcoming here. I appreciate that they are open early serving lunch foods at breakfast hours. They also have a variety of breakfast foods such as burritos available all day. I enjoy their hotdogs, smash burgers, corn, dogs, and tater tots. Made to order quickly, everything was fresh and hot. So the first issue isn't on Dog Haus, i ordered on ubereats and was directed to this far location despite having one less than 2 miles from me. Not sure why uber would do that, but then again, had i ordered from the closer location i would have paid a lot more. Not sure wtf that is all about. Anyway, i ordered a couple of items thinking, it's close, no harm no foul. Wrong. Most of the food showed up cold. The real issue is the cost for what you get. I get it, we're in a greedy era of capitalism where companies charge the most, offering very little. When i ordered a cheeseburger slider and corn dog slider kids meal for $13.00, i didn't expect the burger to be smaller than the palm of my hand. I also didn't expect them to char the corndog. Came in to pick my order and was not attended to for about 5 minutes at the register and no workers were present inside the restaurant at all and I got my food and one of my items was wrong and I also got a breakfast burrito that was EXTREMELY SALTY and greasy and not good at all. First off, I placed my order at 12:35 PM. There were only two people dining in I was the third customer. I didn't receive my food until 1:02 PM. What's worse is that while I was waiting, I witnessed the person making the burritos eating tater tots directly from the same bowl he was using to prepare customers' food. That's completely unsanitary. I asked for my burrito to be remade and for the employee to change his gloves, which should've been automatic in the first place.
